Hello,
I just got a new wireless headset for the PC and is working great with Skype etc. Because I can walk freely I can do a lot of multitasking, I was wondering if it is possible to let my phone forward the calls to my PC (not Skype, because I don't have a subscription there, otherwise I would just use Skype to call).
My headset is an USB headset, so cannot be attached to the phone.
Bottom line:
Is there software to use the headset to phone other people (through USB or Wi-Fi)?
Regards,
Chris

Hi,
I'm trying to connect Nokia HS-11W bluetooth headset to my xda2i.
When I do the settings thru bluetooth manager , it sees the nokia device as a headset and when I look its status it says the connection is just fine.
So everything seems ok but when a phonecall comes the headset doesn't pick up the phone. No voices on the headset, nothing. It's like no device is connected the xda2i although it is.
I can't speak thru the headset when I make a call either.
Can somebody help me get rid of this problem pls?
Thx
Hello!
I own a Athena with Wm6 and bought a LG style-I and it really worked ok.
Yesterday, just bought the Jabra bt-8010 for car and music and it works ok either.
the problem is that i've paired both of them, LG for headset and Jabra for headset and wireless stereo.
The thing is that when both are connected, I cant make either to work at all.
can't I have both paired as headset and pick up a call or dial from which i need at the moment?
sometimes I prefer the remote, others the headset... I dont want to have to power off one to use another and neither unpair one to work with another!!
How do you deal with this situation?
thanks

It is impossible to have both baired as hands free for phone calls.
You have to choose one as the phone can not accept two connections to two hedset the same time.
However, you should be able to pair the LG as handsfree for phone calls and the Jabra as stereo headset for music ...
How do you guys do?
Is there any way that I create a shortcut in today (with Ilauncher, SPB Pocket PLus or another) to simply switch between them?
Or.. With phone alarm, depending which profile I'm using, choose the headset I'll use with phonecalls.
What I mean is, for profile home and work use the style-i for car use the Jabra.
And listening to music, of course use always Jabra...
See you

why you want to complicate your life??
the easiest way to proceed is to have your bluetooth switched on on your HTC. You turn on you Jabra, and a single brief click on the multifucntion button will connect the Jabra to your HTC. The same with LG, you turn it on and a single brief click on the multifucntion button will connect it ot the HTC.
But keep in mind that if one of the two is already connected, you have to switch it off to be able to connect the second one.
so to resume, you HTC bluetooth is on.
At home and work you turn on the LG and a brief click on the multifunction button and it's connected to the HTC.
In your car, you switch off the LG and switch on the Jabra, a brief click on the multifunction button and it's connected to the HTC.
hope this will help you
Hello dears, I get a kaiser and now I'm looking for a BT headset, my problem is I can't find wich special feature (if any) need the BT headset have to choice one and buy it with confidense.
I want to mount it to a motorbike, and I want to be able to receive in the BT headset music + calls + gps voice indications. Investigating some time I found that this can be possible with a software like BTToggle or VoiceRoute or so, to route all the sound of the HTC to the BT headset.
I hope this is true, but now I can't found if we need look some special feature or especifications in the BT HEADSETS available here in the market, and I have not the opportunity of test one and others.
Can someone tell me wich compatibility need I look for in a BT HEADSET for the HTC TYTN II and the custom explained needs above ?
Thank you very much! greetings from Argentina!

i believe u need a bluetooth stereo headset for it to pass music/system sounds through (I bought a samsung h350 for 4.99 and found out it cant do that ). Microsoft Voice commander works nice, it announces texts, calls, reminders, etc.
The Jabra 8040 is both a phone and music/audio Blue Tooth. They aren't too expensive. I am unsure if it will interupt the music for voice navigation prompts. Someone running one would have to let you know. I do know it interupts music for calls.
hi, there is this program ( i cant remember the name), but it allows you to stream all sounds from your phone to your headset, regardless of what kind of bluetooth headset you have. does anyone know what program it is?
Hi !
I know we can use a pc bluetooth profile to use it as a headphones/handsfree for the kaiser (listening music on the PPC, earing sound on the pc), but is it possible to do the same in the other side (pc sound redirected to the PPC) ?
It's because my laptop headset plug is broken, I'd like to do this... Pairing my PPC and plugging my headset in it is not a big deal, but it is just possible ?
Thank you for your answers
is if your phone show up as audioGate way profile on your laptop of cause not all pc bluetooth models support it
You need a Bluetooth driver for your PC that supports using the BT audio protocol, in other words it enables seeing your PC's Bluetooth as a soundcard.
Many don't provide this with their BT drivers, but if you have it then I can confirm that it works!
Hi guys,
To whoever can help in this regards,
I use my mobile at office where signal is not strong, so i use to put in the cradle and usb charging and i use a wired headset.
The problem is when my wired headset connected i can only hear the ringtone through the headset and if i was not looking at my mobile i miss the calls and this is not good in my work.
Is there any tweaks or tricks that have this option enabled (e.g. enable notifications only via speakers and wired headset at the same time while phone call conversation through headset only)
Thanks in adavance
