HD7 lock by T-mobile how to unlock work Indian
If your talking about carrier unlock then its simple, go to ebay and search "htc hd7 unlock code" the cheapest unlock is about $21 then just follow the directions, make sure they have good feedback! and they will send you a code to put in the phone when you insert a sim card that isnt meant for the tmobile phone, and your good to go, just make sure to download "connection setup" from the htc app section in the market to get your data working

I just bought a g1 that is not unlocked, and I wondered if I have to have a tmobile sim card to unlock it.
No, the opposite, you need a sim card from another provider (along with the unlock code) to unlock it.

In The U.S., i saw you were not, you get the code from T-mobile unlike most other U.S. carriers they give it to you. Then any sim card other than an active T-mobile, even old non-active ones I have used as it just needs something to look against to enter the code. Here is the instructions....
T-Mobile Sim Unlock Request
Sim Unlock Reference: nnnnnnnn
IMEI: nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
Unlock Code: nnnnnnnnnnnnnn
Thank you for taking the time to contact T-Mobile. Below you will see the Instructions for unlocking your HTC device.
1. Insert the foreign SIM card
2. Power on the device and the display should read "Please input unlock code"
3. Enter the unlock code and the device should display "Phone is unlocked."
4. Allow the phone to scan the network (or manually click on the antenna icon to do this)
It is very important that the instructions and SIM unlock code are entered correctly as listed. If you receive an error message while performing the instructions do not make any further attempts to unlock the handset. Please be aware that if an excessive amount of incorrect attempts are made, the phone will be permanently locked. You will need to verify the IMEI by pressing *#06# and contact Customer Care for support.
Thank You,

...I forget the time you need to be with them as I have for years....
Hello peeps, i finally received my G1 today... Happy!
Two things i would like to know i do have a t-mobile sim here but i dont get t-mobile service in Australia so i will need to unlock it.
What would be the best way of going about this... could you point me in the best direction for the cheapest and safest Australian Unlock codes , other thing is somewhere i read its possible to skip the gmail bit and activate it later also someone said to me it was possible to start the wireless connection to enter those gmail details so i dont need a sim with data....
So main question is with a t-mobile sim here is it possible to access the phone without having it unlocked and without t-mobile service?
The other thing is i have heard going around is that dev images have unlock strings would this allow me to use a Australian sim to enter the details at the start without having to pay for unlock??
Call t-mobile to get the phone unlocked, they are quite relaxed with the unlock codes, secongany dev based rom something like cyan' s rom will allow you to skip the g-mail reg when you boot up and connect via wi-fi, even hero roms have that option
I tried messaging t-mobile but they said i needed proof of perches because i don't have a t-mobile account

Ok this is odd! I received my hd7 yesterday and immediately set about getting it unlocked once i had done the basic set up. Because of what i have read so far on numereous forums i automatically assumed the phone ould be locked and went to one of the two sites suggested here to purchase my code. Within 5 mins i had my unlock code for the sum of £19 something.
So i then read through the email and go to follow the instructions. The first instruction states that i should put in a SIM card from a different network. So i put in the t-mobile SIM i intend to use with the HD7 and would you believe it ITS UNLOCKED?! The phone tile shows T-Mobile as the network and i check and see if i can make and receive calls...all work fine?
Now my question is: was my hd7 unlocked when i purchased it? (bought online from o2 uk payg) or did the guys fromm the unlock site do some sort of jiggery-pokery that unlocked my phone OTA via my IMEI number?
Didnt O2 and Tmobile recent join forces to some extenet. I think they share the same network now so that may be why.
I bought a PAYG one yesterday and my vodafone simcard didnt work so bought the unlock code.

It can't be unlocked OTA, so it must have been shipped unlocked.
That was too good to be true…after appearing to be unlocked my HD7 has
now decided to lock itself. It is giving me this message:
"This sim card can only be used on specific networks. Contact your customer service centre for the unlock code"
I've attempted 3 different PINS (1210, 0000 and 0000 again) with my T-Mobile SIM card in incorrectly so i guess i now need to get a PUK code. The question is who do i go to get this from T-Mobile (my current netwoork) or O2.

Errmm, That unlock code it's asking you for is not the SIM PIN, it's the unlock code you paid for from the site, I hope you did not guess it incorrect too many times otherwise you can lockout the phone completely.
OH GOD! you were right...that message was basically asking for the unlock code i paid for. Once i punched the code in it accepted it and i appear to be up and running again.
still find it odd that the phone acted like it was unlocked for a brief period before i had unlocked it!
thank you!
Glad it worked, good job you have not tried to guess the code 10 times otherwise you would never have got it unlocked.
Your right though, seems odd that it let you use it the first time, it's all software based anyway so guess it was a glitch.

Hi I work for o2 UK and it sounds to me like you luckily got a device set up for a contract. O2 only tend to sim lock the payg devices now. The salesman probably picked up the wrong device.
is their a method available for unlocking the lg Thrill? I have searched but have not found anything.
no not unless u buy a code or get one from your carier
AT&T, if so ring them and ask for the unlock code. Odd I know but there are a few of us that have done that and they have happy given it to us.

Really?, c'mon dud, you can get them for $1 on ebay
Okay, so if you have some balls, you can unlock your phone yourself. Check the Optimus 3D forums here for the IMEI Restore/SIM Unlock thread and follow the instructions there. NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART OR THOSE UNSKILLED!

Your Welcome, btw no offense but it wasn't too hard to find lol
LG Thrill AT&T : cannot find network unlock screen (got PIN but can't enter it)
Hey guys,
Does anyone have any idea about how to reach the Network unlock screen on the LG Thrill 4G (Biohazard 4.2 ROM) AT&T.
The phone's locked and I got the unlock pin from eBay but even when I restart the phone with the non-AT&T SIM card I never see any screen that asks me to enter the unlock pin.

How to unlock:
1. insert a non allowed sim card such as AT&T, etc. and turn phone on.
2. It will show show invalid sim and then the network unlock screen should popup.
3. Tap on the entry area and enter the provided unlock code
(Make sure you have entered the carefully and exactly as shown (numbers only))
4. Press the unlock button. The phone will then perform the network unlock process. This process only takes a few seconds.
5.Congratulations! Your phone is now unlocked to use with any sim from any GSM carrier worldwide.
*****IF THE ABOVE DOES NOT WORK TRY THIS METHOD**********
Below are instructions that work for most network providers:
P990, P999, P970, P920 and similar LG Android phones. Simply enter a non-approved sim, turn on the phone, enter the NCK and press unlock. That's it the phone will then process the code and in about 15 seconds it will be permanently sim unlocked. It his does not work you can dial a secret code to bring up the unlock menu. The secret code is "2945#*XXX#". Replace XXX with the numeric part of your model number (for example for the P999 dial 2945#*999# on your phone). Then enter the code and press unlock.

I personally had issues unlocking until I flashed a stock ROM. Specifically, I used the stock ATT Froyo ROM.
hi there, hope everyone is doing okay. I'm here in pak, I've t mobile g4 and whenever I put a simcard in it so it won't catch signals and asking me to unlock the phone. Can someone please tell me how do I unlock it? Is there any way to do so? Thanks
I was in the same boat just the other day. I couldn't find any way to SIM unlock my phone without buying a service. No ROM will unlock your carrier, I've already tried. Go to http://www.androidsimunlock.com and you can get a T-Mobile LG G4 SIM unlock for about $20. That was the cheapest place I could find it, because you're gonna want to make sure you select the "SIM unlock app method". You wait until they've confirmed that they unblocked your SIM unlock, then you go into the T-Mobile SIM unlock app on your phone and select "Permanent Unlock" and you should be good to go!
