I ran into this problem a few days ago and figured I would share the fix for those that may be having the same problem.
After installing Launcher Pro, the sense dialer would not show a call list when opened. I would have to enter a number and backspace before anything would show up. Not a huge problem, but annoying.
Here's how I fixed it for myself.
Remove the dialer shortcut from the dock.
Add the dialer back by adding a shortcut to the dock and then find the dialer in the applications list
That's it!
I actually had to do that twice before it worked, but I have not had a problem since. Hope this helps some people!
Awesome I had the same problem.

I thought it was just me or it was a bug or some odd sort. This worked for me first shot. Thanks.
Sweet, I also thought it was just some bug. Works fine now.
thanks, good tip.
Thanks for the tip! Solved the issue.
Before that, I found that typing one number then erasing it was bringing the call list... but that was not very convenient for sure...
thanks
I had the same problem, didn't think of this simple solution though. Thanks a lot!

Thanks! Couldn't even figure it out what was causing it till I read this! Worked like a charm!
Thanks,,, a lot of thanks,,, i thought the only solution would be quitting Launcher pro,,, a big thanks..
thanks for that!!!!

I keep on changing launchers on my N1, recently found Go Launcher Ex and installed it. It's impressing me except one weird problem that whenever I select Settings>Preferences it' shows the preference screen for about half a second and disappears and I am back to home screen. Means I can't change any launcher settings.
I googled a lot but can't see anyone else having any such issue. Please help.
Thanks.

Well, you do have very little internal space. That normally causes me problems (with other applications)
I don't know if it could affect your launcher but try clearing up some room. I don't have the issue either but I'm on GB CM7. Even if you have time, try backing up your current rom/settings and then start fresh, see if that helps!
You can contast GO DEV Team OR message me!

Guys, sorry for the very late reply, the problem was fixed after I did a factory reset
Thanks everyone!
I'm also facing the same problem as the OP is facing, I have Spice MI-410, So as it is posted I think Factory Reset is the only solution, too bad
By an accident I entered one of the "latest threads ", took a quick look and found this amazing app . It provides the user experience and looks of the new sense lockscreen, and it works really good for me running Speedmachine :-D Just note that I've not made the app, just thought I should let you know. Ps: there's both a free and paid version.
Edit: Haha, found out that I don't even have to pay for the pro features. I just clicked the get free points button installed a few apps (which I of course uninstalled strait afterward ) and voila
Edit2: Link corrected
thank you so much for the tip. Can't wait to try it out as soon as TB finishes restoring my apps on Elelinux-7.1.0-RC1-Hero-v3.1. This will look best with the Sense theme I use for GO Launcher EX.
Edit: works great and it's verry smooth.
I was wondering if you have the same issue as me with this lockscreen :
I put the phone in my pocket of my jeans and after let's say 1 or 2 hours when I get it out I find myself in a random sub-menu in Settings. Did you ever had this problem? I've disabled it and tried leaving the phone in my pocket for 1 hour with the rom's default lockscreen and it never happens. This weird thing happens again and again with Agile Lock. I've also disabled the pull-down notification bar.

Thanks for the tip! I'll try it on Speedmachine too..

Well, I've been using this lockscreen on a pretty speedy and light rom. I guess that the lockscreen will be killed pretty often if you try it on a GB rom
Will try Lockbot soon
Btw. I've found a bug in the lockcreen, pressing the volumebuttons wakes the device, and with the heros volumbuttons, this means it wakes up all the time But I've sent a mail to the dev and he answered that they're working on it
Hey together,
couldn't find an answer and the official WhatsApp support wasn't much of a help either, so here's my problem:
I'm using a HTC One, all stock, WhatsApp+ v.3.58 and SwiftKey 4.1.1.146.
Whenever I type something and want to add an emoticon, the Emoji window doesn't "replace" the actual keyboard. It just comes on top, which takes away a lot of space, is very inconvenient and forces me to first use the back button in order to send my message. When I minimize the keyboard and then press the emoji button, the layout looks fine.
I have tried it with the normal WhatsApp, the stock keyboard and also various versions of the respective software.I attached two screenshots, one is how it looks after I typed, the other one how it's actually supposed to look.
Thanks in advance.
Edit: Updatet SwiftKey to newest version. Same problem
I got the same problem.
I'm using a Nexus 4, tried both the original whatsapp and whatsapp plus.
Stock keyboard and Swiftkey, nothing seems to solve the problem...
Someone found out what's wrong?
I have the same issue with my Nexus 4 and HTC One too.
I've managed to solve the problem by disabling "Pie Control". Not sure if this helps.
Use the official app, when I remember right this doesn't work with WA+ or try to change the hight of the emoji area to the stock value

Hey,
Today I updated my HTC One to sense 6.0. (Software number: 5.11.401.10).
I noticed that my phone would react a lot slower during certain actions. It feels like I have an one second delay, just like input lagg on a monitor.
I noticed this when dragging down the status bar and clicking on the settings. It takes about 1 second between the click and the actual action.
Third party apps don't seem to have any delay!
I've tried switching off all the animations. I'have also switched off power saver and I even tried to fix the problem by switching on High performance mode (a developer setting). This all didn't fix the problem, so I went back to the normal power saver mode.
In this youtube video, the owner doesn't seem to have the problem. You can see it at 5:19 when he clicks in the upper right corner he doesn't have any delay. youtube.com/watch?v=ZE08kJ42_Os
How to solve this problem?
I hope someone has a solution, because I find it really annoying.
Thanks in advance,
Dark-shot.
*Sorry for my miserable English.*
Stop messing with the settings? Factory reset it and see if it works *before* restoring a backup of any settings.

I didn't really mess with the setting only animations and high performance mode, so I think it is really weird to have that lag because of that.
I'm going to factory reset it in the weekend. After testing when I switch to my back-up will everything be exactly the same? Hopefully without the lag.
this is not settings problem, my friend after update cant recive phone call, well send it to HTC or root and flash custom rom, Viper is amazing.

As a test case, if you browse a complex site using opera, then switch tasks to something else, does the problem get particularly bad? (If so, there's more I can tell you about this bug, but no solution.)

Thanks for your reply, I'm going to instal opera and test it. Do you know any complex site that has this specific problem?
Use a custom rom like arhd or Viper and install elemental x kernel. See if there's any difference. If no then there's something wrong with your phone, homie

The problem isn't particularly bad with opera, but the first two seconds after I switch task, my phone is a bit laggy overall (never had this before).
HTC One input lag, sense 6.0 fixed.
I fixed the input lag. When I updated to sense 6, the first settings which I enabled was magnification gestures. I disable the new magnification gestures setting and at this moment the response time is as good as it was with sense 5.5! Sorry for this stupid mistake!
I appreciated all of your replies!
thank you. this solved my problem
Thanks for posting your solution. Damn magnification. The minute I turned it off it fixed everything.

I've already had this problem a few times while using CM11. I'd downloaded the recommended updates and my send button on the standard SMS app is grayed out. Now its happening again after flashing CM12 Nightly to my Sprint HTC One M8... the only solution I've had so far is using Google Hangouts as my texting app which I hate doing... Anyone having this problem and/or know the fix??? Thanks.

Having the same issue with LiquidSense for my HTC One M7. I know it's a different device but we're both running CM 12 and this seems to be a recurring problem..
Lucky to see this question was asked recently, I'd hate to bump a really old topic.
Thanks for the Hangouts tip. Will be my temporary solution until we figure something out, when I do I'll post!

Thanks for checking this out. Yeah, so far I haven't found a permanent fix and it's rather irritating but I'm sure sooner or LATER someone will fix it.
Possible solution

Hi there, I'm using an LG G2 w/ CM12 nightly and i had this exact problem. For me the problem was that my sms app was not the "default sms/texting app" i changed this by opening my texting app and clicked the three dots (settings menu) and changed it to default sms/texting app. Hope this helps :fingers-crossed:
