I dont know if any of you new but zagg has already a skin for our mobile
the screen protection in my opinion is bad (orange skin texture....) but the rest of the protection (the back and side) is good i mean...to me it doesn metter the texture in the rest of the phone (just in the screen) i will order the Full Body Maximum Coverage.

sorry for my bad english:S
do think twice before applying it....
cus it was too sticky, and my last experience is it tear off the original coating when i put it off..........
may be they have improved it and may be the optimus can tolerate such stickiness....
but think twice..... and good luck...
In my previous phone (samsung i8910) i have used it and nothing to blame except the orange texture on the screen and removed it with no problem at all. Maybe your protection had a defect....dont know its odd :S
still waiting for it
do you know if the display skin covers de curved glass on the edges of the display?
FYI, my experience with ZAGG products has never been spectacular. It's a soft plastic that is sticky on the outer side and get easily damaged.
i think it doesn't you can see it on the pictures in zagg's website. still wating for it..i think it will never came

I'have it with my LG Optimus 2x, I bought only the screen protector.
Very good skin from screen, I've use Zagg from my HTC Hero.
For the Optimus 2x, a case with a kick are available on expansys for $20
I always use zagg protectors for my gadgets, never had a problem with them. They remove easy leaving no sticky stuff behind, and the front protector fits perfectly to the curved screen.

I just got my full body today. I have been using the Zagg ones for my last three phones. I have tried to put it on the LG but but the small front left cut (the censors are) was supposed to be left behind when you pill the shield out but it didnt, this meat I had to pill it out on my own which took a lot of efford. I have taken the shiels out because the inside is now not as clear as it was when I first pilled it off. Any one any idea how to clean the screen side of the shield?
Installed Zagg Invisible Shield screen protector.
As people have mentioned it has a texture like an orange skin.
It's kinda "sticky" and adds alot of friction for the screen.
I don't mind the downsides since it fits really good and the screen is really well protected now.
To sum up: this product isn't for you if frictionless usage is important for you
Is it possible to get the original LG screen protector. I have a little scratch on it right in the middle and it is annoying.
I don't know if a new screen protector will help but is it possible?
EDIT
I've been searching around and at the G2x forum's they want screen protectors from phantom skinz, martin fields and Clarivue protector. The phantom skinz protector on the website is only for the G2x, but the O2x and the G2x look the same right? Only the software is a bit different.
Any thoughts
Im using ZAGG invisibleSHIELD on my screen. Im whery happy whit it. I had ZAGG invisibleSHIELD full cover on my old SE W995 also. It was like new after two yeas.

Recently a part of my screen protector came out when i was playing a game(it didn't protect the edges). I wanted to ask you guys which is the best (and the most economical) screen protector (protecting edges or not) that you have used for the O2X.
Also if I get something for the back camera as well it would be a treat!
Really? 156 views and no reply? Is this section dying?
Hi,
Relax man, I think many people are not using screen protector on o2x because it has gorilla glass screen.
As for myself, I am using a screen protector that is made of PET material with laser precision cut. It is more durable protecting your screen against scratches and it is scratch resistant by itself. I have bought it of ebay 7mth ago. Most of them are not really that expensive, just be wise which one you choose.
Cheers!

Well, are there any obvious scratches on you protector? From which seller or company did you buy it from and for how much?
I use a Phantomskinz screenprotector at the moment. Feeling is good ( little more resistance than bare glass) and scratches are not noticeable. There are a few little dips in the protector but they do not influence the usability.
Sent from my LG-P990 using Tapatalk
I bought like 3 for a dollar on eBay, they stick well and last a few months. Don't get scratched unless I do dumb stuff like keys facing screen (bad practice anyway, bump a wall and keys go through your nice IPS display).

Okay! Thanks guys!
im using xtreme guard, ordered it off from amazon, cost me 1700 PKR ~ 750 INR. Two of em. anyways it handles the glass curve well and came with camera lens protection as well. so for i have no complaints

no it did not. since it was "soap" applied it was a bit smudgy for first 16 hours after that it cleared up. zagg on the other hand is better then xtreme guard. More authentic feel. i have one laying around somewhere, will put it on in a few days. Zagg provides better quality

well, they are applied using soap water so that there are no dust particles or you don't smudge up the protector while application. while it does seem a little distorted for a couple of days but when it clears out its very clear in my opinion
So which ones are better soap or non soap? :?
I just bought some random cheap screen protector..Works just fine..:b
I got one from Brando. More expensive than no-names of eBay but has proved to be really good. I've tried a number of soap products like zagg phantom and bse but it's not for me. Too much resistance when swiping and does not look as nice as the Brando.

I bought a pack and they have the camera hole cut out and the light sensor cutout the wrong way round!
Well, to be honest I have been using the 2x without protector (neither screen, nor body itself) since it came out and it's screen is still scratch free. Just remember that it can't resist stuff like sand and keys, put it in your pocket without anything else and your good! Just my 2 cents

PLEASE, no one mention garbage like zagg. thanks..
Just an FYI, Amazon has that same ArmorSuit for a few bucks less
In my experience, they always make the screen look awful. It's made of gorrilla glass anyway, thats the point is that you shouldn't need to use a screen protector.
As Dja357 said, it's made of gorilla glass. No screen protector needed.
I ordered some $5 protectors off ebay for mine.. i mainly like them for anti-glare.. BUT it does just destroy picture quality
As for scratches.. my fire's protector has a huge gouge across it. and no idea how it got there was worth the money to protect it
The screen quality does go down a bit with some protectors, but they help with glare and make it easier to clean too. I'm going to wait and see what type of case I end up finding before I decide on a protector though, its slim pickings right now
I'm more concerned of the back. But back protector is ridiculously overpriced right now

Call me a crazy noob but I just took some scissors and snipped off the tab for removing the protector that came on the nexus 10. I left the original screen protector in place. It fits perfectly, there are no bubbles, no trapped fibers it is the best installed screen protector I've ever had. I will admit it is not quite as smooth as the exposed gorilla glass around the front camera and sensor but it is close and I have the piece of mind that should any horrible accident (or even a minor one) befall my tablet, I know that I can always rip off this screen protector to see a perfect piece of glass, untouched by human hands, beneath. Having a screen protector, for me, is mostly psychological.

easy install, very scratch resistant and tough i say, BUT!
when you play games and the phone heats up, it peeled a little at the sides!!!!
thats the case if you use it face down, gravity pulls it off
Note: don't know wheter its just me or anyone have this problem
might be suitable with cases with bigger bezel to keep it in place.
overall, i can still live with that. no scratch at all from countless time in-and-out from my jeans
glass cleaner works perfect with this, but don't spray it directly, might get inside some holes
my doughnut falls on it once, no scratch at all:victory:

How is the fit and finish of the product after it was installed? Close up pics would be great as well :good:
Taken with 8mp Sony ST18i:good:
the edge seems visible yes, but it's only because of my camera (lighting reflection maybe?)
finish is good, but not that friendly with fingerprints
at first it feels a bit rough, after a few wipes and cleaning then it starts to feel comfortable

I just put one on today and it doesn't cover the whole screen. There is about 2/8 of the screen not covered on each side. I have two of them and there both the same. Im returning them because these are def not covering the screen like it should.
I bought one of these. I love it. I don't know how much protection it would offer in the event of a drop face down with no case, but I think it was worth the money spent. It's definitely glass. No it doesn't come out to the edges all the way, but pretty damn close. Perfect for a case.
I have one haven't put it on yet. Still use my copter.
Noticed to it doesn't cover all the screen but I use a bumper so that's OK.

I was wondering what you guys thought of the tempered glass screen protectors I have been using one since I purchased my phone and I like it but I bought a cheapie one on eBay (nothing wrong with eBay I'm just saying even for eBay it was a cheap one) and its not sticking on the edge. I paid a little more for my wife's GlasT on her IPhone 5S and its perfect. So basically I wanted know if you guys think something out there is better than the tempered glass screen protectors before I dish out the money on a better one. Or is anyone else using a tempered glass protector having the same problem with it not sealing all the way to the edge. A buddy of mine has an G2 as well of a different brand and hes said the same thing happened to his. It doesn't look terrible just a small area all the way around the screen where it's not making contact.

UPDATE: I still have not experienced any edge-lifting. Note though, that i did NOT use the cleansing pad that they provided. I simply used alcohol and a cotton ball, no finger prints after cleaning whatsoever, then used the pink sticky film to remove all small particles from the cotton ball and any dust not seen by the nake eye.
But i will say though that the finger print resistance is almost non existant now. It really makes me appreciate how the stock glass is just that sweet. But all said and done, im satisfied to an extent.. if something comes out that is unanimously better than ill change.

Hi there!
I need simple plastic film, clear screen protector, similar to what is installed on new OnePlus 3 out of the box, but this one don't cover edges of the LED, leaving about 2mm exposed from both sides.
Kindly someone give me names or links of full screen protector which is not hard glass, but soft regular screen protector which cover complete screen
Or any other Phones screen protect which can cover OnePlus 3, may be of galaxy S7 Edge
Why i need simple screen protector:
- Its thinner
- Its not noticeable, you don't feel if its there
- Prevents scratches
- Don't make device thicker, by putting extra thick layer
- Can access home button/finger print reader easily, without digging your thumb in
Why i hate Glass Screen protectors
- Thicker, makes phone fatter
- Untidy, makes phone bulky
- buries home button further inside
- At times, i have seen they can damage the screen as well

protector that comes preinstalled on OnePlus 3 seem to be of a very nice quality to me, issue is that, its short, i feel they could extend it little more to sides, just before it curves down, they made it short intentionally to make people buy there full screen or other temper glass screen protectors.
May be i should try to take screen protector of some other phone, like that of Samsung and try to cut it as per OP3.
May be i can extend it to black bars where the screen ends.
I decided to try the Orzly tempered glass. Normally I'm a huge fan of the Spigen Crystal and Ultra Crystal plastic ones - still almost no noticeable marking on the Crystal I have on my LG G4, and the Ultra Crystal on my wife's Nexus 5 literally saved us a screen replacement last winter. I thought the screen HAD broken, down to ordering a replacement to put in it ... but when I peeled the Spigen off, the screen was fine. They don't have one for the OP3 yet though. So this time I thought I'd try something different with the tempered glass. If I don't like it, I'll have to keep looking.
Interested in seeing if there are any good plastic screen protector recommendations though, in case I find that I'm not a fan of the glass ones.

They look tempting, but i am not sure how they will even cover the curves, i heard they come off from edges, it would have been better if they had left the curves exposed, just cover the complete LED, just up to the point where LED starts.
Hopefully it will give surprising results.

Well I started the Orzly plastic film trend on Xda. Its the first thing I wanted to do after 4 failed tempered glass abd its still the best. Got mine at 499 of 5 pieces. The first one is still in use and I love it.
