I like having 5 icons on my dock bar but stock gignerbread only comes with a bar that fits only 3 icons, can someone share a larger bar so that i can fit my 5 launcher icons in adw launcher
what you can do is go into the adw settings and choose a 5 button dock ... then simply add your icons and shortcuts

I know i can do it, in fact thats what i did but the adw dock looks pretty ugly to me, thats why i want an identical dock as the stock one but bigger, so it fits 5 icons
There is one.

Hello,
I have a little question I have the advanced launcher in my theme but it dont change the icons in a row so could anyobody change me the file which makes 4 icons in a row in the launcher ? And Dont know how many icons in the original in landscape mode is but could anyobody say this ?
Now my 2. problem i have made an background for the launcher 90% but in the launcher it is grey it dont shows the homescreen...
Ex iphone user?
Android is always 4 icons in a row
No on cm 4.2.3.1 it has in the launcher 5 icons and i want that is normal
Couldn't you just push the default launcher.apk?
but then it doesn't have the advanced features 0_o
I've been using MIUI for a while now - main reason being the icons are spaced out with correct size. With 5 rows and 4 columns their sizes look like iphone. But when i use the same 5x4 with other lauchers the icons and the labels are too small for me to read..Not sure why?
I'd love to use APEX or nova if i can get the same layout as miui - they're more flexible for icon change and app drawer etc..
Any ideas or tips?
Is there a way to change the homescreen layout to a 5x4 (or 6x4 if you include taskbar icons)? I think things look way too spaced out on this phone otherwise. I am coming from a Sensation with CyanogenMod and that phone could handle a 5x4/6x4 icon arrangement fairly easily.
Did you see/try this mod??
Hello,
I found out that I can add Sense Widgets to the next launcher lite. They are full functional an resizeable.
In Apex or Nova launcher it isn't possible.
I was realy surprised that it is generally possible because in Sense 4 the widgets were integrated und Rosie, so why can I do it in Sense 5 and only in next launcher?

The calculator widget looks cut down
I resized it to add another widget

Hi,
This is pretty cool. Apparently you can use widgets and home screen settings from ADW, LauncherPro, LG TouchWiz, and HTC Sense with the next launcher. The details page of the Next Launcher at the Play store indicate;
We introduced the following permission to support our new function – Migrate home screen from other launchers
com.htc.launcher.permission.READ_SETTINGS – Migrate from HTC sense
com.lge.launcher.permission.READ_SETTINGS – Migrate from LG Home
com.fede.launcher.permission.READ_SETTINGS – Migrate from LauncherPro
org.adw.launcher.permission.READ_SETTINGS – Migrate from ADW Launcher
org.adwfreak.launcher.permission.READ_SETTINGS – Migrate from ADW Launcher EX
org.adw.launcher_donut.permission.READ_SETTINGS – Migrate from ADW Launcher donut
How cool. I did not know this could be done. Maybe I can switch away from Rosie now.

It's a decent launcher but still has 1 major glitch, like all the 3rd party launchers ... Non transparent status bar. The ugly greyish colour permanently is just too much for me, have to hide the status bar but it still annoys me when I unlock and it momentarily flashes grey before it hides ... Why is it not transparent on any launcher?

I am not all into theming but from what I understand the status bar has to do with the SystemUI and not the Launcher. I have a custom ROM with status bar tweaks and transparency enabled. I just installed Next Launcher and my status bar is transparent. Most of the time. Some apps it turns grey like gMail, Play store. But I think it is more that these apps have that screen area not drawn, and other apps I use, have that screen area drawn black.
The SystemUI is also why all the status bar apps on the Play store also do not have transparency. All these apps do is draw over your existing status bar. Transparent Status bar requires specific settings per ROM. Do correct me if I am wrong about this.
You're probably right dude, it just annoys me that in order to customize my phone how i like, i have to put up with that lol ... OCD is to blame but still, the little flash of grey is better than all the time.
I just flashed 4.2.2 and it isn't possible anymore...

hi, know one can change homescreen and dock icons with Nova etc. but how does one change the shape of the settings icons (currently rounded squares) in EMUI 9.1 I like the round (Pixel like) icons on my homescreen and app drawer (with nova) but want the settings icons also to be round... any way to achieve this? thanks
any bright ideas?
With emui? I think there's a mod app for it, personally don't use emui launcher as I hate the pull down shortcut gesture.
Plus the having all apps on screen is not pretty..
You could also check out the additional themes app from the play store which has a lot more themes which affect the icons and may also have the ability to alter this too.
Theme manager

Theme editor

Hope this helps.
Thanks, am on EMUI 9.1, I'm using Nova and have changed the homescreen and app drawer icons, but wanted to change the settings icons to, but with themes etc they only change the homescreen and app drawer icons.
They are supposed to be round in EMUI 10, so now you just need to wait 3-4 month until it's released...
Thanks

Oh the settings screen, I'm with you.
You can change colour with a lot of the themes but not the shape AFAIK
