Browse and download/upload system files? FTP or SSH?

What are you guys using to browse and transfer files via WiFi or SFTP or bluetooth?
I've tried using FTPServer, but it won't allow me to download or upload any system files, only to the sdcard folder.
I've also tried connecting via bluetooth with my mac, and I can get files, but can't send them, and I can't see anything in a lot of folders, like the data folder.
I basically want to have root access to all files, without having to connect my usb cable.
I am rooted and on FroYo.
Is there anything out there?
I use ASTRO and ES File Explorer for file transfers but indeed they don't support root. So I separately use Root Explorer to get at the root files. It just means two steps - FTP/SAMBA/etc to a temp location on SD Card, then Root Explorer to complete the task.
I use WebSharing Lite to transfer files via WiFi

Just good ole ssh from a terminal.

[Q] how to access download files in windows phone 8??

hi,
today i downloaded a txt file from a email attachment bt i cant find it anywhere same is with zip file does anybody know how to access download folder or how to access these files
Generally speaking, you can't. You can open them again from email, and (for apps which support this) you can save them after opening - for example, a text file that you open in Word can be saved to the Office hub - but the actual temp folder used for downloads is not accessible to anything except the app that does the downloading.
Yep but you *can* get the file(S) from that temp folder. Search store for*downloader*
