Thank you for the great work you have done so far.
I wanted to inquire if there is the possibility to Install Android permantly on my Xperia X1 either on internal memory or as dual boot with WM and a Boot Loader.
Please excuse my bad english.
Sorry if this question was already asked and answered but I could't find a definitive answer so far.

Internal NAND booting is still in development but dual boot is already available here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=623792

Any info about development of internal install? I'd like to see Android as my primary OS

It is not stable
I think nobody is trying to go for permanent install due to not stable releases
1. Camera not working
2. Stopping without the reason
3. stacked in call
4. problem with some app
I really hope that one day I will use my xperia with Skype video call.
Thank you people for making me happy

Android as Default system?

Can somebody tell me how to set it as default? Is it possible yet?
Please, don´t ask this question at every moment :-/ Devs are working hard on a real Android ROM for our loveled Xperia X1 but till now there is no way to have Android as default system (I mean NAND instalation).
If you want start Android automatically after charging Windows Mobile, just Google it. You´ll found the solution in thousands of threads: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=11058529&postcount=15
And as I told you at the beginnig of the post, please try to keep this space useful for devs reporting bugs, problems and so on for the fast development of Android.
Thanks...

Sony Ericsson xperla X1-Android&WM 6

Hello everyone
I just took the Sony Ericsson Xperia x1, so I have some questions for you.
1. I have read here on the forum that there is a possibility to install Android OS, will that be possible?
2. Does the Android OS is installed instead of the current WM OS or not?
3. Whether, if I understand if you install the Storage Card can be made after removing the Storage Card from the device and insertion of other Storage Card WM OS uses normal?
4. whether there is a possibility that on a Storage Card 8GB install a program for dual-boot for example (Gen.Y dualboot)?
5. and most importantly
If this is possible if you send me links from which they can to take the necessary software and OS.
I apologize in advance for bad English.
Thanks in advance and I hope it will help someone in my intentions.

Every thread that usually has the title starting with [ROM] inside you can find a link to download a rom. there is no a perfect rom. you can follow this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1021658 to see how to install the rom. If you want have a dual boot you can install it but you should have a custom winmo rom already installed.

[Q] Questions about the unlocked bootloader / non-fuctioning camera problem

Hi all,
I usually buy phones and install custom ROMs ASAP...but as many of you are doing as well, I am currently waiting for the bootloader issue to be fixed so that I can use the camera with a custom ROM.
Basically I have a few questions which I was hoping someone could answer please:
Who can actually fix this issue? Sony or personal developers?
Is there an expected date this looks to be achieved? How soon can this be solved?
Is there anywhere I can check progress for the solution?
Right now I'm just browsing every z1 forum section and threads to see if anything has changed....so would be great to get answers to the above.
Apologies if there is another thread for this - please let me know if there is and I'll have a read.

CyanogenMod

Hello Everyone, I am new around here.
So about a week ago I got my first ever Android phone (after spending years on iOS) I am extremely happy with the Sony Xperia Z1, it just blows iPhones and iOS away, Let me get to the point haha.
I have done a long and painful process of:
1. Flashing Old Firmware.
2. Rooting.
3. Updating again.
4. Unlocking Bootloader.
So I'm at stage 5 now, I would like to install CyanogenMod. On the site it says C6902 But I have a C6903, will this make a difference? and if so are their any better alternatives to CyanogenMod?
Since I am inexperienced in all this Android and rooting etc (Long time iOS Jailbreak User) I would appreciate if somebody could point me in the right direction on where to go from here. I don't want to brick my shiny new device but I also want to give the device some customization.
Many thanks, I hope everyone had a great Christmas.
Happy new year!
I found out you can install CM on C6903 but a lot of things are broken, the Camera is broken on all levels, but C6903 is supported.
Also try and use the search button for answers, I only recently asked the same question about 8 hours ago.

If you're still having problems reply here. I see you bricked your phone, sorry about that! Always take caution when cross flashing, etc. Did you back up everything to an SD card?

I'm trying again now, I fixed the brick by using Flashtool
So now I need to figure out where to get rom.zip and gapps.zip also where would I put them before attempting to flash the cyanogen boot loader again?
Cheers

Good, you know I wouldn't try and get CM on C6903... even though people say it's possible, the issues with it are many. I personally haven't seen anyone put CM on a C6903 device yet... and like I said, the amount of problems with it wouldn't make it fun.
What are you looking for that's so special about CM?

I am enthusiastic about trying something new, Basically I have never tried CyanogenMod before so I would like to chance it and if things go too wrong then I will flash back using Flashtool.
Also Its nice to know this so once the CM becomes more stable I can install it again in the future.
Sorry if im a nuisance, I really appreciate the help

Nearly all development for the Honami goes into CM11, which hasn't been graduated to nightlies just yet, meaning that there are no up-to-date builds available at the moment, FXP252 was supposed to be the first release of Honami CM11, but it wasn't deemed ready for it at this stage.

Q&A for [androidarmv6][ROM][MTD][4.4.4] CyanogenMod 11 for GT-S5570i [NIGHTLY]
Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer. Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!

Bro, Amazing Rom which made me Not to think about trying other ported ROMs. Only thing that I am waiting for long time to get fixed is, the long delay in showing the incoming call when the phone is in locked mode.. Please let me know if there is any workaround for it. It would be great if you can fix it at the earliest.. Thanks for such wonderful Rom.

First, thank you .. but I have a problem with the rum, the screen becomes black after the appearance of the screen icon CyanogenMod ,, This happens when I put my card and I will be, and what a handsome actuation normal operation to remove them ,, When I put something else in between SIM card, insert remains in the screen, and enmities remain spin Unlock sim
I apologize to the English, Google translation xD
Some little problems
I tested after three months (the latest build that I've tested was the August 23 I think) the build of October 25, and I have to say I was a little disappointed, because I expected that some things were fixed, but I was wrong .. Even in this latest build I could not import contacts from the SIM, but I solved it by installing some app that "manage" the SIM. Okay, the colors of videos are fixed (YouTube is unusable anyway), but the thing that bothers me is that the video you have previously registered with a Stock ROM still not supported! Why? Not to mention the "bug" in the scrolling text.. I thought these little things were fixed!
NOt Working with SIMs with out pins
