Sbrissen for the no AM/PM mod
signal23 for the remove recent apps in pull down mod
bgill55 for the location icon removal mod
SoCalMiles for the transparency pull down mod
Retrokid223 I used his settings, PCSCII.apk and for the transparent contacts.
jcase for the add RadioInfo to Wireless Settings mod
sk806 for the power widget mod
JsChiSurf for the removal of the clock
Flash this at your own risk, I am not responsible to anything that happens to your phone. I have not been able to get this to boot on boLTEd so you have been warned

The theme is so big in size because I changed the icons in a lot of apps. I also tried to get rid as much green as possible. To get the full effect of the theme make sure you dont have any other skin selected besides stock.
The beautiful widgets Super Clock skin can be found in the app under Matted Blues. The icons in my dock are an adw theme called Minimalist_Black and can be found in the Market.

The name of the theme is confusing because there is a matted blues skin for desire hd, z, thunderbolt roms. I'm running that right now. It happens to be the most elegant sense skin as well.

I dont mention anything about a skin and its the name of the actual theme it was ported from. I see no confusion in that at all.

Sorry. Noob question, how do you install this?

Can u theme the gmail to match?

Any chance of getting the Rosie launcher from this skin
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=483326&d=1294435368
somehow incorporated into the theme? I like keeping sense (instead of using ADW), so the launcher doesn't really match incredibly well. I feel like if I applied the skin after flashing this theme it would break some stuff.

I have gmail themed but cannot for the life of me get it to install.
You should also be pretty safe installing that skin, I looked inside and a lot of the stuff was the same. If I can figure out how to get a skin to decompile/compile correctly I will see about adding one.

So you don't think the notification bar will get overwritten?

Okay, update. It worked! Theme got applied without making anything wonky. Though I would have liked to keep the background present on the Sense clock. Idk why, but I can never replace the Sense clock with the Beautiful Widgets clock, even though BW has more customizations. Something about the Sense clock just draws me in.

Okay, for kicks I installed BW and applied the Matted Blues skin...doesn't look anything like your screenshot. *Scratches head*

Im using the 4x2 Super Home with Matted Blues-Dark skin and simplesolid weather skin.

Ah, silly me. I had the regular one, not the dark variant. Thanks a lot, all up and running now. Looks perfect

OP udated......

Thanks looks great.

This theme is very clean! I love the smooth transitions, hate that fancy crap everyone always uses and the look is excellent. Keep up the good work. My only suggestion would be making the Market semi transparent with the black look. ;-)

[MM REQUEST] Green theme cyanogentazz v2

Something with this color green maybe with some green themed icons. Never see a lot of green themes out there. If anyone as the time that would be awesome. Will he happy to donate a little via paypal

Just change the notification colors of Transparent Chaos through CM settings to green. If you're running Cyanogentazz, you should have this.
You won't have that font though, sorry. Easier than waiting for a port, and if you want to learn a little about Metamorph you can just replace the fonts in the original Transparent Chaos.

Honeybread theme MDPI (work in progress)

So I came across this through a Google search. Someone is manually converting the honeybread theme for MDPI phones, though I'm not sure how updated his work is. Only thing I found still needing some work is the keyboard (easily replaced by another of choice) and the "loading" bar.
Overall I think this theme is fantastic, especially with honeybread adw theme from market.
Found it here:

I like it. Wish the settings icons had some color to them though. That's about the only thing I miss from the stock rom.

Yeah I've been using Honeybread for a while. ... I think a mdpi version will be awesome.
I'm dealing with the graphical imperfections.
I installed the v4 version of this theme tonight, and its actually pretty good. Its not perfect, especially since I change my density, but I'm going to stick with it and hope he keeps converting the updates.
I know the slide is considered old tech now, but I wish there were more MDPI themes for us

Ya that's what I was looking for, you gotta go through the links to find it.

Those pics are from the HDPI version. It's not quite there yet for MDPI, but they've done great work so far. I've attached a few pics of it running on my MT3GS. The progress bars (like in the Market, for example) overlap the star ratings somewhat, and the "traveling" part at the end of the bar is not aligned properly. Also, using the dialer keypad while in a call can be frustrating, as the "End" button overlaps the */0/# row. Other than that, I'm pleased.
Here are my two "problem" screens. v4 fixed the "active" part of the progress bars, so my above impressions were a little outdated. These two show the progress bars in the market app and the overlap of the keypad in the dialer.
And the notification bar
Sent from my T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide using XDA App
What's wrong with the notification bar? The pull-down is way too transparent for my liking, but that's just my preference.

It's not transparent on my Slide at all.
I wonder will it be working on other builds, because #17 is out and I'm about to flash it.
In general, I really like this theme. I hope there will be more improvements for mdpi version, because it's not quite mdpi yet (icons in notification bar are small and ok-cancel buttons are a bit small as well)
It doesn't become transparent until you reboot your phone. That and the market icon not being themed blue are the only things I dislike. Everything else looks awesome!

Honeybread Metamorph MDPI
With permission of the creator, I "ported" the Honeybread theme to MDPI Metamorph. You can see it here: http://bit.ly/hBTizg
"By popular request and with the consent of haxzamatic, here is a version of Honeybread Metamorph for MDPI Froyo!!
I'm calling this a BETA. I had to do a lot of resizing, renaming, recreating and filling in to make this theme work on our devices. (I also want to credit Kagedin of Dark Edge MDPI MM fame for some of the pngs I used as well.) I'd appreciate if some of you would put it through the paces and let me know of any problems. Below are the Honeybread wallpapers too.
Download: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6409094/Sist...read_Froyo.zip
How to use Metamorph
Always Nandroid before flashing any theme.
1. Download and install the Metamorph app from the Android market.
2. Open Metamorph, allow checks and Superuser. Press menu, open settings and increase Metamorph Delay to 3500 or so.
3. If this is a new theme, choose Unzip/Extract new theme and navigate to downloaded theme zip file on your SD card.
4. Click on the zip file and Metamorph will extract the theme files automagically.
5. Information about the theme may be displayed. Select "Close" when done.
5. A list of all the sub-themes will be displayed. Click ‘Apply All!’
6. Select "Continue" to apply framework-res themed files.
7. Reboot if it doesn't happen automatically."
Not going to lie, pretty excited! Only thing is, download link seems to be broken, at least by phone.
Edit: can we get a fixed link?
Will there be an original update for the theme, cause it's not working on #32 anymore
I started porting it to MDPI a while ago, but stopped a bit short. I have a couple apps already done if you want them.

[CM7 THEME CHOOSER(HDPI)/LPP/FANCY WIDGET/FONT] BlackSlate v0.2 (12/apr/2011)

Here's a combination of a modded LauncherPro (installable over signal23 ones or on its own) and a matching theme for CM7 Theme Chooser.
This is the very first release, so there could be various bugs.
At the bottom of the post you'll find some screenshots with various backgrounds, I think this LPP theme could match almost anything
So here are the files:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14602324/BlackslateLauncherPro.apk
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14602324/BlackslateCM7.apk
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14602324/BlackslateDock.jpg
Alternative transparent dock (even cooler, see last screenshots):
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14602324/BlackslateDockTr.png
Matching Fancy Widget Pro skin (replaces h7cclock, see last screenshots):
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14602324/h7cclock.rar
Here's the font (apply with FontChanger)
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14602324/HelveticaNeueLTCom-Lt.ttf
Icons come from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=804085
Install as normal apks.
CHANGELOG:
0.1: Initial release.
0.2: Fixed charging battery icons.
There are a few minor issues (affecting only CM7 theme, LPP mod should be fine):
Preview not showing in theme chooser, therefore it's hard to find (but it's there!!! look for the name below).
It shows as "JAMTFlatBlack_Free UOT".
Apk name in "Manage Applications" is erratic (still JAMTFlatBlack_Free UOT).
P.S.: CM7 theme is based upon JAMT by ClassicalGas.
This looks good

Really nice, using the CM theme now. I think I'll try out the LP theme too.
I did have a little bug with the CM7 theme though, it didn't show a screenshot in the theme chooser, which made it a little hard to find/select.

I love the LPP theme, and the typeface, but the CM7 theme doesn't seem to have worked - I got a sense-style theme, whereas in the screenshots shown it appears to be completely different. Is it because my screen is MDPI, or did I do something wrong?

Sense ui is slow---but who says your hero needs to look boring to get speed??

Who says your phone needs to be boring to be fast??
look at the screenies below and ill guide you to get your desired look
without sacrificing speed.
first you should pick the best vanilla gb rom you can find.
id recommend roms by elelinux and the OMFGB rom you can find it in the android dev forums for the Hero g2.
Im using OMFGB after using elelinux also, but i like some of the cool options and mods omfgb has although elelinux rom is a bit more speedy.
now ill tell you the apps i got on my phone tht cause the look
1. Agile lock ---- For the Salsa sense lock screen.....really responsive, even better than stock sense rom for hero.
2. LP Slate Sense is the sense clock without the animation for less memory consumption there are apps tht include the animation but i dont recommend them.
3. ADW Launcher EX and gingerbread theme for system icons and adw elegant theme for the dock icons. to change dock i cons drag and drop the app and just tap and hold and tap on edit and then on the icon then on adw elgant and choose icon u wish to use
4. for speed turn off animations, use rom toolbox to zipaling apps and setcpu to change ur cpu frequencies to max the closest to 710 the app ur using allows not in the 700 better something like 680 and min to 310-360 and scaling to smartass
5. now get the theme chooser theme finder app from market and look for theme naked simplicity
6. now if you have any issues just post it here and ill help you
dont forget to thank if you found this post helpful
Are you trying to tell us that vanilla is boring? You can do literally anything with vanilla, you can be boring (most people like to call it 'minimalist') if you want, and you can be super complicated.
I prefer to go with the minimalist theme, and for me, sense is ugly, the only advantage is widgets, and I get them with LP+ anyway. This is my last screenshot.
Boring enough?
Whatever... Thanks for the guide, but that sort of stuff is pretty well known.

Thing is most ppl with a hero are always waiting for a sense ui release for the lates firmware just for the look, because they think vanilla is boring. truth is vanilla is very custumizable and speedy..tht is what i was trying to show.....i would thank all you guys who post ur themes and looks for the hero here...to show tht vanilla is the bomb for looks and speed.
thanks ;D
Truth is, on older phones newer sense versions feel like bloatware. I've been waiting for months for froyo sense (with camera, how can one live without it?), ditched waiting, went vanilla.
Never felt regret about that, even for a moment. There are better things in life than sense
Anyways, I wanted to keep it under wraps for a while longer, but whatever, why not mention, since we're talking here vanilla-power, how about this:
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/820/xdasshot2.jpg/
(can't post image directly, cause.. well, for a while I have an xda-noob status. ekhm..)
It's my own homebrew theme, so I could use some constructive criticism. Cause after what I've seen in post#2, it makes me wanna change the decor completely..

there is no clock background, it's the overlay for the wallpaper. Read the attatchments properly, there is an overlay thing in there... [THEME][CM7][MDPI/HDPI]Sense4(ish) Beta (12/7)

HDPI confirmed working
Hi! This is my first CM7 Theme It started as a direct port from Sense 4, but, well, right now it doesn't look like it I'm still having problems decompiling the ICS apks and some other issues, mainly stupid .9 patches. So, well, not much have been themed and it doesn't really look like Sense 4, but I think it's kind of cool so I decided to share it anyway Also, the Sense 4 framework is HDPI, but I've taken some pngs elsewhere as well, so I'm not quite sure how it looks on HDPI. It's all a mess, really Also I've changed the theme style, so there MIGHT be some white text on white background issues, tell me if you find some
DOWNLOAD!
Changelog:
5/4: Initial release
6/4: Added icons in settings, fixed some text readability and added icons for a few apps
6/4: Even more readable text, pulldown looks a bit better, but is still not sense4 style, some icon fixes and probably some more I don't remember
8/4: Resized stuff from Sense 4 to fit MDPI, generally more sense4 feel. Lots of stuff I don't remember
9/4: Improved for HDPI and landscape, new icons for go sms, exdialer and maxthonbrowser, new clear notification button in pulldown, and prob some more I don't remember
11/4: Fixed white on white issue in manage applications. Also had to change popups to avoid black/black issue.
12/4: Fixed a black/black issue
13/4: Made separate versions for HDPI, thanks to jasonevil for telling me how Hopefully HDPI works now Changed textfield pngs
20/4: Minor update and only updated the solid MDPI version. Thanks to jasonevil for some improved graphics
12/7: Updated the rest of the versions like i did last time. Thanks to jasonevil, it really gives some more polish.
To do:
Fix bugs, improve stuff.
ALSO, I want to use the sense icons for third party icons which replaces system apps, for example if you use Go SMS instead of the system SMS app, I want you to have the sense icon for that anyway. This includes browsers, dialers and camera apps and similar. If you use such an app, please give me your package name
Thanks to:
nhnt11 for this guide
ZDuneX25 for the ICS patch used in my screenies and probably some more
Elelinux for some framework I stole
Raziel123x for apkmultitool
DotPDN for paint.net
Everyone else who feel they deserve some thanking.
Good job mate, but I think I don't like this sense style anymore However, you deserve all the GJ because you still create things for our phone!
Thanks I haven't used sense in a long time, but that's mostly because I can't change LCD density without screwing up everything Also the new release is something different, for example it uses white menus
Theme is updated
Finally a theme for CM7!!!!!!! looking foward to this theme!! its hdpi right? i need a mdpi one >_>
I'm using MDPI Gotta get the pulldown fixed soon
Edit: bah, hate .9s!
Edit2: It works fine, but some of the pngs aren't optimized yet, I don't even know how they look on HDPI. Anyway, I use it as a daily
Edit3: Updated once again (lol). YES, it will be updated a lot
It has the same transparent statusbar background as in sense 4z
The brownish look?
unwritten sentance
im gonna camp at this thread lmao
What exactly is sense 4ish about it the clock and the systemui notifications bar, a couple of settings icons and the popups... Nothing else looks sense 4ish at all!
Have any1 of you tried this on HDPI? Could I get some screenshots?
The reason it's so bad right now, is because I can't get any of the apps to decompile :/ Therefore I cannot access some of the pngs without breaking the .9- patch :/ So, so far it doesn't have the semi trans statusbar, but i guess I could include it in next release. As soon as I get this working it will be improved, I'm sorry
