Hi
Is it possible to do? In a ZTE Blade there is an option in Settings to do this.
Thanks
HaDeSz
Why you would want to do that And i dont think its possible...
maybe he wants to use the phone while doing some battery calibration or is afraid of too many loading cycles
Android supports it...
hard to monitor battery drain

/edit : i use 2g only too/
maybe your battery is not in good condition gan.
Or try to reduce brightness, animation, and timeout screen :-D
Cheers up, guys. Cool down.
I use PowerMax app from market, plus some tips in here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=942241 my x8 can last at least 2 days...with normal (almost hard use).
i have question to ask, i charge my phone till 100% and the battery gauge in System Panel (i used this application for monitoing my phone) shown 4769 mV. When my phone reach 10%, the gauge shown 3669 mV. Should in normal circumstances it is in what position when the battery runs out?
sorry for my english,
I love the phone but battery performance is poor. I installed BBS. Enclosed a screenshot. I'm not rooted so can't look into alarm details. Makes me sad. LTE speed amazing but how can you enjoy phone if recharging once during day? Any advice greatly appreciated. I have disabled anything extraneous that I could
I'm using 2x.battery pro right now. Tried all the others too.
The same app set on my Xperia U has none of these battery issues.
Just charge in overnight, I don't see the problem in that. Then you won't have any problems.

charging continuously over extended periods can cause battery failure also heavy use of the phone whilst charging can damage the battery and as the T is a solid phone (cannot change battery) id recommend having it turned off whilst charging that way it will fully charge and you wont damage the battery more .... also try turning data connection 3g wifi etc etc off when your not using it as they can drain the battery a lot checking for facebook ,gmail and almost all your other apps , also listening to music and using bluetooth use more battery too
AW: [Q] Xperia T battery just not there, advice?
1. is that avast installed? Remove it. Useless anyway if you'd ever need it and only uses resources if yu dont need it.
2. battery surveillance crap? Remove it. Known to be very prone to cause wakeup.
3. Update your system, .3.195 is not the latest available.
4. About 5000 wakeups by what looks to me a failing google backup. A wakeup multiplied by 3-6 seconds on-time equals 15000-30000 seconds. Thats 5-8 hours. Thats like what the battery can give. Something is ****ed up, I suggest a fullwipe and start over from scratch.
Oh, and never mind that crap about turning all services off and totally rendering your device useless. Correctly setup the T (TL...?) lasts for a whole day with quite some abuse. And I simply dont trust the minimally booted kernel not enough to correctly regulate charging current and keep the voltages and temperatures in check. I trust the fully booted and full fledged kernel more in that regard. And turning off your device to make it use MORE battery after turning it on in the morning because it needs to go and sync all services again, check all data and find out if anything in the cloud got updated in the meantime and most importantly, needs to run the media scanner again, a very battery hungry process...? No thanks. I'll leave it on. And if that would make me feel bad, I'd use the flightmode as a maximum measure. Still better than killing the device alltogether.
Seems like to me that you might be using loads of craps that you don't need mate.

Hello guys, last days i got problems with my htc one, battery drains very fast and often it switch off when its 50% battery..and when i charge my phone it takes like forever to go to 100%..i thought its battery issue so i ordered a new battery, installed it and still got the same problem..is there any way to fix it? Or had the same problem?thank you
I have changed Rom and got the same issues, the solution with battery monitor haven't tried yet but when I made factory reset it isn't supposed to be clean from all the apps that drains battery?
try to install battery pro app to find the process which draining battery a lot. also useful feature- cleaning battery stats through recovery
i changed charger and now it charges fast..but still dies very fast
Help

first of all you need to find the processes which drains the battery a lot. install battery monitor app from google play and use it couple days to collect info regarding processes. also you can try to flash custom kernel

you recommend me some kernel ?, to help me improve the battery life, but without losing much potential in terms of my device, I am currently in the rom resurection remix (nougat 7.1.2 compilation 26/8/2017) ??? ?
Hello,
I've installed the launcher Agama on it and it's really usefull.
I saw I can show the battery level but it's locked at 50%, it never change.
I was wondering how could I really have the battery level of my car.
I already have a battery indicator which I bought 1€ on Aliexpress and it works.
Maybe the same indicator exist with an usb ? It would be nice if Android could use this value as it's own battery level.
Is a thing like this is exist ? If not, can it be developed relatively easily ?
Thanks in advance !
Erimen
PS: I have access to developer mode and 2 usb ports
Is it an mtcb device?
Hi Guys
I have a Galaxy S10 I bought around 1.5 years ago as a refurbished phone. The battery life was never that good but ok with 3.5 - 5h SOT. I am pretty sure that the Battery got replaced because the phone reports over a thousand charging cycles. Now thats where the problem starts. About a month ago my phone reached the 1000th charging cycle and I noticed a 10% capacity drop in AccuBattery. If I read the battery voltage when the phone is fully charged it is 4.170v. I downloadet the Test App by Vndnguyen and it states fg_full_voltage at 4.170v. So my S10 limited the charge Voltage after 1000 cycles to protect its "aging" battery. The problem is my battery is very likely not the original and I think the battery cycles were not reset when it got replaced.
So now my question: Does anybody know how you can reset the charging cycles without rooting the phone or resetting it? I don't wanna root it cause it is my main phone. I know theres a tool you can download from Ifixit but that only works on S20 and newer phones. Any help would be highly appreachiated.
Have a great day.
Hello Fast_lessy, look here I think that's what you're looking for no.
https://fr.ifixit.com/Tutoriel/Comment+réinitialiser+compteur+de+cycles+de+charge+Samsung/152044
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/reset-battery-cycle-counter-on-samsung-galaxy-s7.3782807/
Thank you for your fast reply. As I already stated above I don't want to root my phone and the one from Ifixit only works with the s20 and newer models. I wondered if anyone knows how the battery cycles are getting reset at a repair shop, cause they can do it without root.
But besides from that, I appreachiate your help.
Hello Fast_Lessy, look at it without root with this code *#0228# read explanation in the discussion thread.
https://r1.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-note/0228-code/td-p/14472657
Thanks for the respone. I wonder if there is a way to reset the battery cycles without Root. In the USSD Menu you showed me above you can reset the fuelgauge but not the cycles sadly.
However i need to reset the cycles.
again, if you do with the keyboard *#028# battery management what happens you don't know the info and recalibrate the battery
Im so sorry for the inconvenience but I don't really get what you want me to do in the #*0228# menu. In this menu I can watch some parameters of the battery and reset the battery fuelgauge. However if I reset the fuelgauge, the cycles aren't getting reset and the charging voltage doesn't change either.
I think I missed something you tried to tell me
By the way if it's more convenient for you, you can also explain it in French. Maybe then I will get what you try to explain to me
Thanks a lot for the time you spend to help me
