Check in at places with Google Latitude to earn status and share with friends.
Ping Latitude friends to ask them to check in. Friends will get a check-in request notification from you.
Search for a place to check in from Latitude if it's not in the suggested list of places.

just use androlib.com or appbrain.com. appbrain.com even has a way to install apps straight to your phone from the website with one click of the mouse.

I agree, i replace the android market with the appbrain app
I rooted my nook color on christmas day (25th) and whenever i open my market not all of the apps are there. Why is this?

Hold the nook in landscape orientation. That's what worked for me.

yeah even with new market, i can't find the apps that i want. Also this was discussed in the app/theme section under nook color and something to do with compatibility from what i've read

If I understand the screenshots correctly, this could be one of my most-used WP7 apps! Once multiple languages (English, in my case) are supported, I'll be sure to give it a shot!

Yes. It is a parcel tracking app.
So I have a xoom tablet, and my boyfriend has a Captivate. On my xoom, there's the ability to have multiple google logins to the marketplace. I have one account for me, and one for "us". However I cannot find a place on his Captivate to access multiple google accounts on the market. I have them both added. The gmail is there, they're both sync'd. But there's no way to view the apps that I purchased on "our" account. Is this not possible with android 2.2?
I have a captivate I haven't heard or seen multiple market accounts maybe there is a rom that will do that

Thanks for hinting at this, i was looking into the market nearly every day since the MS/Skype Deal went public. My wife really depends on skype and she has a WP7 phone and she hated it just for not having skype
I just tried it and its really slick and cool although there's still A LOT missing... well it's beta...
