Hello everyone -
I'm looking for a transparent lockscreen solution for my cappy. There's a thread about doing this for the Hero/Eris, but it requires a Sense odex. (tried to post URL but I'm not allowed as new user...)
My ideal lockscreen is transparent over the default home screen, so I can still see my standard clock and other home screen widgets. I've tried Widget Locker but I don't like it.
Any help or suggestions?

Click to collapse
Could probably modify android.policy to remove lock screen entirely, lol. It's probably a ton more work to enable a sense-style lock.
Or install nolock and adjust your screen timeout to a low number. Pressing the power button would then go straight to your homescreen with full functionality and pressing it again would just turn the screen off.
ok so im having problems adding new widgets to my home screen on launcher pro+ for example facebook widget, when i long press on a blank home screen it simply tells me that there is no more room on this screen. Now i have gone from 3 to 7 homescreens to make sure that I had blank screens. If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated.!
There's a possibility that there's a widget added somewhere on the screen but its invisible, i had that glitch happen to me before. Try grabbing it and throwing it in the garbage, usually its in the top/left corner of the screen. Or goto lp settings>home screen settings and increase the rows/columns of your grid, then you should be able to add the 4x4 facebook widget.
well i tried your advice except when i adjust those settings my aps and widgets seem to pile on top of eachother, what would be and ideal setup for the rows and columns?
try deleting all screens than adding new ones.. if not just reinstall
Hi guys
Wondered if someone might be able to help. I have just started using Minimalistic text, and I love it. What I want to do is use the clock widget on my lock screen. I am running ARHD 51. I know I cant add it to the first default lock screen on sense, but can add it to the side screen. But that is no good as it doesn't come up straight away when you wake the phone. I have managed to go into the system app folder and backed up the htc sense lock screen, and then uninstalled it, this has given me the default android lock screen. By doing this I was hoping I might be able to add widgets to the very first screen, but it wont let me change it at all. I want to try and avoid using a third party lock screen from the play store and stick with the originals if poss, I use the Greenpower app to toggle the Data and wifi when I lock my screen, but third party apps don't work to well with it.
So can anybody help me get the minimalistic text clock onto the lock screen.:fingers-crossed:
Hey Guys
Just picked up the Galaxy tab s 10.5 - its great!
I see the tablet has 2 styles of home screens
1) the normal home screen where you can add any type of widget
2) Content home screen where it looks like a magazine (powered by Flipboard?)
Has anyone figured out if you can customise the content home screen like downloading different type of widgets for it? When i go to edit those screen it only has a pre-selected type of widgets like Flicker, Twitter etc - and I can't figure out if there is a way to add different ones? for example it has a defualt email widget which looks cool - but if your using GMAIL you want to add your GMAIL widget in there - not set up that widget to read GMAIL - which results in duplicate notifications!!
Can anyone shed should light?
Thanks
I'm trying to hide my main home screen widget whenever I open a pop-up widget. I build all my widgets with zooper, and attach them to shortcuts in my dock with pop-up widget.
The only widget that's always showing is my clock that sits on the home screen, but I want it to hide every any time I open one of the pop-ups (they all are transparent). I got tasker because I thought it could handle this for me (never used it before), but I can't seem to figure out how to do this. Does anyone have any suggestions for how I can make this work? I'm not married to Tasker, but I want to stick with zooper.
Thanks!
EDIT: In case it matters, It's a HTC One M8, Android 5, not rooted, using nova launcher
