What Gingerbread ROMS are avail for the Samsung Galaxy S ? (i9000m)
I know of CM7 -- but what else ?
I am looking for a very fast Gingerbread Rom.
Running on DamianGTO's Kernel OC 1280mhz

I think Miui and maybe darkys rom v.10 beta

It's no beta, it's a RC (release candidate).

Best ROM for stability and daily use

Hi,
I have tried many different ROMs, based on GB, Cyanogen and ICS on my Galaxy S I9000. Not sure which one is the best for daily use and stability. Can some of you share your insights on this?
[ROM GNEXUS PORT] jro03c 4.1.1 beta 4 [oficial jelly bean stock rom]
Since GB is outdated now,And JB is still in dev stage no major bugs ,but there are many minor bugs,So go for a ICS ROM,I would recommend a ROM like CM9/AOKP...
CM9 latest nightlies :good: And additional the Devil kernel or Semaphore.
try TIRAMISLIM by dj sound..u will love it

AOKP Milestone 6
AOKP Milestone 6 - I had this one. Smooth, battery life good and no FC :good:
You state you have tried many roms, then ask which one is best?! Could you not make up your own mind rather than creating YET ANOTHER "which is the best Rom?"thread?

Try TWICS REMICS 1.3.1.
Since the S1 galaxy is built for GB, the most stable rom Saurom.
Plans to update and going beautifully and smoothly without any problems.

[Q] Installing CyanogenMod 10.2.1 from Gingerbread 2.3.3 (Is It That Simple?)

Hi guys i have an Samsung galaxy s I9000 runing android 2.3.3 and i want a better rom (fast, stable, battery drain...) so i've downloaded cm-10.2.1 as it is the latest stable cyanogenmod rom for galaxy s and now i want to install it and i want a guide i need kernel GAPPS and cwm and if possible root and i want to now if there is an other rom better than cm
Anyone To help ??
No one cares i'll try and do it my self :crying: :silly:
10.2.1 is very good in daily use and stable, but I can recommend Mackay ICS 1.7. IMO the fastest build for our SGS. It miss some unique features from Android Jelly Bean but works a bit smoother.
Every time I downgrade version of Android I flash 2.3.6 JVZ by Odin, then CF-Root. Finally I install clean build by CWM. No problems so far.

I have CM11.0, works great on my old Galaxy S.
I think 4.4 is more adapted to small memory devices then 4.3
Never tried CM 10, but CM11M6-CM11M8 is faster / more stable then any stockrom I had. Feels like a new device.
IMHO Updating GB 2.3.6 to CM11.0 M8 is a no brainer.
