I am sorry, i am not trying to get my homework solved by XDA member, but i counter this problem while doing homework.
The problem contains this : d^2y/dy^2 , i had no idea (I even failed to solve that question) what it is til i google it out

This really surprise me, because i never think that way, because the way they write the equation down drove me to a different way of thinking.
As you know xy^2 is not equal (xy)^2
so why the hell d^2y/dx^2 can be understand as d^2y/(dx)^2 ?
Because if we take the derivative of the f'(x) to get f''(x) , we will get d^2y/d^2x^2 not d^2y/dx^2.
I googled some more and look like this form is accepted by all sources:
So my question is, why could they write like that and never think that student could mistakenly think it as :"d^2 . y/d . x^2" ? Because if the student understand like that, it is not wrong based on the way they write it either.

So I'm confused about area of research in my these, because I should know about influence of my these on the future specialization choise.
