Hello everyone. that might be stupid question, but i want to make right decision.
I was looking for similar threat but couldn't find. I would like to buy I9000. And the price is nearly same in UK and Germany, bit more cheaper in UK. Would be there any difference between them, except UK and EU charger? And if there is any difference, what country phone to choose? And if there is not, than I just take one of them. I will be waiting for your answers. Thank you all.

I don't know of any difference between the UK and German SGSs (I believe they are both the i9000 International model) except for software (different CSC, likely different modem...both easily changed). Most SGSs come with a USB cable that plugs into a charger, so that is easily replaced as well, or may even come with multiple plugs. I assume the phone will be bought unlocked, so you can put your own SIM card in?
All else being equal, buy the cheapest one.
Oh, OK then. If that is so easy +1 for such a quick respond. I am in Germany at the moment so I'm thinking to buy in here, even if it is a little bit more expensive. But will not have to wait so long for delivery, and the charger will be corect from start thank you again.

Picked one up today from onthegosolutions.com. I've used them for sometime and have been very satisfied with sales and support. Sweet machine. I will have great fun discovering all its capabilities. Smaller, better looking and feels more solid than the TyTn (I). Charging it now and will work with it tomorrow.
If I'm correct, unless they got a hold of the hardware model that will be used for t-mobile, it will not have 3g support through t-mobile US (once the launch their 3g network in the near future..apparently they got their own band). You will only get gsm/edge speeds and in turn, will not be able to take advantage of some of the devices functionality. In otherwords even though the site says it's compatible, it is only partially compatible with tmobile.
Not sure if tmobile is your provider or not but if they are, it's something to consider. If it weren't for that, I would have ordered already. Unless your provider is AT&T, I would consider confirming the hardware with them first before you decide on this one.
Thanks for the advice. I am on AT&T so I should be OK.
yep..your fine then
more of just a warning for those that don't know (i was on the verge of getting one until I found out ).
did yours come with the case in the box there site does not list it as one of the accessories they come with? also did yours have the american plug on it or the uk one?

The unboxing video shows a case

i understand that however some places try to be cheap and gimp you and stuff then sell it as a single item. My question was did the one he bought from them come with it as it should even tho they are not listing it as a accessory it comes with on there site.
The one I purchased from onthegosolutions.com came with a case and UK plug on ac adapter, all packaged by HTC. I am going to request a U. S. adapter from "onthego". At the moment I'm just using the ac adapter from my Tytn 1.
i got mine from r&d marketing and came with phone/case/us&uk chargers and everything else.
hey, does anyone know where I can get the European (not UK) prongs for the OEM HTC adapter? I don't need the whole adapter, just the part that slides in and out. I'd prefer a US located business, but if anyone can provide a link to where I can buy this, that would be awesome.

I have not done a search for these, so I do not know if they are available, but my suggestion is just buy a standard USB plug charger with the pins you want, it will probably be easier to find in the US and a lot cheaper than a HTC plug.
Same voltage.
Amazon do them, but you can probably find cheaper elsewhere.

Yeah, that's what I'll do if I can't find what I'm looking for but I'd much rather prefer the interchangeable route.
You could try one like this..
http://www.pangadgets.com/proddetail.php?cat=7&prod=MCWOADUSB&gclid=CLX5waql76ECFVVo4wodo3JFIg
It can be used worldwide, and as spare at home
Thanks everyone for all the helpful suggestions, but I'm really just looking for that specific part. I already have lots of alternatives if I'm unable to find it.
When I saw the plug that came with the HD2 I thought it was a great idea - the same adapter for everyone, and just swappable pins. Was a little disappointed there was no euro/US pins also in the box - that would have added, what, 5p maybe to the price?
Even more disappointing if they don't sell just the pin parts separately.
Only solution I know is to get the official htc travel pack you can find it here.
The eu plug will be inside there. Of course also the us and australian and a case and a charger and cable as well. In my opnion a bit overpriced. But the only solution I know.

item in post #4 above is cheaper, does the same job, and I am sure you could get a set on ebay even cheaper.

the item above is exactly what I'm looking for. I don't think you're understanding that the point I'm trying to make is that I don't want the whole charger but just to find the prongs that slide in and out. Yes, you're right that the OEM knock-offs will do the job, and are much cheaper, but that's not what I asked for.
With that said, I'm certainly not paying the price they are asking for the travel kit. I may be picky but I'm not as stupid as HTC seems to think their customers are.
I am also looking for this "HTC EU Plug for TC P300 International Travel Charger" (this was the description that I came up with)..
Thanks to czacha234 I found the plug adapter!

I called the USA branch of expansys and they ordered it for me. It was $8.99. Kinda spendy but way better than the 40+ that people are charging for the whole kit.

Hello everybody, I've had my T879 Note since December and now my charging port is broken. Word of advice dont let you kids play with your phone while its on the charger.
I found the replacement part, but was wondering if I could use one lets say from the i717 or from similer models. Pictures of the part looks the same for all the devices just that they are branded different. Would it matter?

This is good to know. My wife's GNote just broke and stumble upon your question here while browsing for unrelated subject. I will definitely check out your research.
Hi all.
Im curious how much is cost HTC One in swedish (I got brother there) so if it is cheaper then here i could maybe buy from sweden.
Also keep in mind phone should be "CARRIER FREE" and "SIM UNLOCKED"..
Thank you guys for all your help.
[I posted it here and not in Q&A because it is not question and problem directly related to phone]

Somewhere around 700 euros (6000SEK) but you will not be able to get it before May.
The Swedish shops will be selling at just a little under 6000 SEK.
Here's a simple guide for you for the future:
If you ever find yourself asking the question "Is X cheaper in Sweden" .. the answer is almost always no.
This is just one of the reasons why I'm buying from the UK.

Ok thank you guys
Hello guys,
I own a S10 model SM-G973F ,
Sadly,
My motherboard completely died but the rest of parts are working well.
I want to buy the unlock version of S10 Motherboard model SM-G973U.
Is it possible? if its unlocked version it will work?
Thanks,
The U1 variant should work but double check.
It likely be the cam and C port modules that give you trouble if at all.
I was of the belief that the C port pcb wasn't interchangeable on the N10+; apparently it's the same for all US Snapdragon variants.
If not compatible you will lose phone and internet service. Next time I go to change out the C port PCB I'll document it fully... a repair shop screwed up the last one and I didn't record which PN# was on the replacement board, duh.
Next time I'll just do it right and do it myself!!!
So to sum up,
you suggest to buy a new/used same board model as I had (SM-G973F).
Any chance you know where could i buy for a reasonable price?

No clue and if used the IMEI needs to be clean.
A used S10 is another option, a parts queen.
For $400 you could buy a used N10+ in excellent condition but same issues there with buying used. If you don't mind the size it be a definite upgrade. New ones are going for $800 now.
If you buy used there's another issue, the firmware version. Android 9 is preferable, 10 is as high as I would go. Make -sure- you known what firmware is loaded as sellers many times don't list what's actually loaded. Best to talk with the seller by phone.
