[Request] Custom Pingchat! Notification - Captivate Themes and Apps

Not sure its possible but I believe in never say never. I would like to have pingchat either use my phone notification sound or just be able yo replace that horrid notification sound. It makes my skin crawl lol. Does anyone know of a way to maybe replace the pingchat notification sound. I already have it disabled. I do want a sound just not THEIR sound

I dig owls. Here are two owl hooting clips that I'm using for notification sounds.

I can't remember the name, but there is an app that allows you to put short cuts to lots of thing in the notification bar/window. There maybe something in there that will do it.
Maybe try extended controls??

Can you not get what you want by choosing:
-Settings
-Language and Keyboard Settings
-Samsung Keyboard
then, click on/off Vibrate on Keypress, click on/off Sound on Keypress ??
nope, there is no option to disable the clicking noise. It's pretty odd that settings is left out.
I'm not sure this would help, but for the leaked 2.3.3 Gingerbread if you go to:
Settings>Sound>Uncheck Audible Tones
It removes the noise from the stock Samsung Keyboard.

The problem with that is that it disabled the audible tones when you are typing in a phone number.

Yeah, yur right, there's a setting for the Android Keyboard to disable sound and vibrate, but not on the Samsung Keyboard. Maybe try a rom that has that feature, a lot of them are adding mods to different KB's
Just figured it out. If you go into sound settings and turn down system volume it turns down or off the keyboard sound. Also the vibration intensity affects the keyboard
Can't someone just mod the
App

[Q] Drop down the notification bar on Lockscreen?

Guess its ICS only?
Works here. Using WidgetLocker.

I am looking for an answer to that too
Is there a way to pull down the notification WHILE my phone is locked with a pattern? I know that without a safety lock, it works ok.
PS: I know the security risk involved. *having someone peek a notification while the phone is locked.
PS2: Widget locker might work, but I have no use of its other functions, hence I don't want it..
PS3: "WP7 notifications" is a solution, but there is different information displayed on a WP7 notification VS the standard ICS notification.

They changed that in sense 5, you have to change the sounds in each individual app instead of doing it from the personalize menu like on the lte with sense 4+
