hi i am using darkys 9.5 at moment with SPB3d paid for skin ,but it will reload a few times a day [pita] is there or is anyone using a different rom to use that would stop this re loading many thanks
Reloading seems to be because of Darkyy's using his ram tweak. You could just download samsung galaxy tuner from market and change lowmem settings to Samsung (new) or (old)

Download Galaxy tuner from Market and select Memory Manager, then scroll down and press "Load", then select the Samsung (new) And of course Apply and tick on boot. Hope this works.

Thats probably due to adaway or some add blocker u r using....
If u r using adaway then try disabling it and try again...
If it doesnt work then u'll have to manually edit host files
I solved this prob.....download adfree from market and then open and click boot normally and then hit the revert and close and try again adfly it will work

not every rom support the features.
Sharp rc3 Mod were running smooth with this addon.
But some rom like cm9 rc2 by rcset is not suitable.

I installed LeZo 4.0.4-1012 by Abengeil and overall this rom is smooth after I pimp this but file explorer started force closing

Original post says to wipe dalvik n' cache before pimping. I suggest you do such after as well if you encounter problem. Fix permissions in advaced can be helpful too

Thanks chrillefr, as you said I done factory reset then run pimp my rom and again inplace of rebooting I gone to recovery and redone factory reset then restarted.
As on now I am not facing FC issue let me see for one or two days:good:

However, last step (factory reset) was a bit much, wonder if it resets your pimp too..
But recovery/advanced/fix permissions sometimes takes care of crashing apps. Good going though

One more thing Chris, I already supercharged my device with v9 supercharger with some tweaks, hope that wouldn't conflict with pimp my Rom.....
NB: maybe I should just try it my self and see just like you suggested earlier.

Installation Instructions:
1.Download evolutin -x 3.zip and place it in the root of sdcaed
2.Reboot into recovery,apply update from sdcard and choose ClockWorkModRec.zip
3.In Cwr wipe data,cache advanced ->wipe dalvik cache and battery stats
4.Mount system/data in mounts and storage of Cwm
5.Then install zip from sdcard and reboot system
6.Wait till it boots and media scanning is done and enjoy
Note:If ur stuck at the samung galaxy ace s5830i logo then flash stock rom via odin and then flash this rom
Known Bugs:superuser denies root access
Solutions :
1. Re flash rafael kernel and modulus if ur using rafael
2.flash root package
Report if u find more

Note that there are some force close errors in the pre-installed apps given below
1.email.apk i forgot to remove it since i use gmail
2.In evo mods app -> Utilities there is terminal emulator which was force closing so i removed it so dont click on it the whole evo mods app will force close
3.Fixed Dialing numbers force closes

I found white on white fonts only in 2 places
1.Sim card unlock
2.xda premium app only in selecting something
3.None if the apps shown below in the application drawer (some are but no paid apps) are pre installed

i do that and still denied..now i flash a rafael kernel and works fine
The screenshots shown that there are Root Explorer, Titanium Backup, xda premium ....
If these apps are included in this rom, it's against xda rules. If not, remove the screens.

I just flashed GingerDX v031b ROM to my X8. I installed some apps like Facebook, WeChat, GO SMS Pro, etc.
They are always running in the background. So I think there is no internal auto task manager on my phone. Where can I get one?

First root, and then use chef freezer(search on gp),and select apps u don't want to run and freeze.. do no use task killer..
Remember after u freeze facebook or else, it will disappear. U need to unfreeze it.
Use Greenify.It's the best app for hibernating background apps automatically
