[Q] Gingerbread 2.2.3. upgrade with Croatial local, how? - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I upgraded my original 2.2.1 to 2.3.3 I9000XWJVB (with Odin) which does not have Croatian local, so I set it up as English (USA). So, in application I get $ currency instead of Croatian currency and similar changes.
Question: when 2.3.3 for Croatian market is released, what is the easiest way to upgrade it with Croatian local? Upload some CSC via Odin or?
Thanks.

I9000XXJVK v2.3.3 have Croatian local menu...Flash this firmware.
Regards

Yes, but I want XVJVB since it is official ROM. Thanks anyway.

[Q] What firmware should I choose that has romanian language?

Hello,
I have this stock firmware on my phone XFJM1/XXJM1 and I would like to upgrade to JM8. Does it have romanian language? IS IT OFFICIAL firmware? or is a beta? The only version I could find is I9000XWJM8 from samfirmware.com. Thanks a lot!
Salut,
JM8 is leaked firmware not official and it doesn't have Romanian language in the UI.
Only Swype in this version has this language. It's very fast tho' with JM8.Stay with JM1 and use the voodoo lag fix until official froyo is released.
Yep, this seems right.

Does Anyone know P1000ZHJK1 Rom is a Chinese Tradional or Simplfy Chinese

I have just bought Samsung Galaxy Tab from Carphonewarehouse but I like to flash my tab into Chinese so I like to ask wheather P1000ZHJK1 is Traditional Chinese or simplfy Chinese thanks very much.
I've flashed this rom, ZHJK1, this rom both simp Chinese and Trad Chinese included! also with english and korean,(this rom should be a Hong Kong local version, because of samsung apps has many HK local apps) work smoothly!
btw: my tab came from Germany, original rom version is P1000XXJID
this ZHJK1 rom is PDA only, so you should use Odin 1.7 with P1 pit, not re-partition checked.
baseband version: P1000ZHJJ1
Version: FROYO.ZHJK1
rom version below:
PDA: P1000ZHJK1
Phone: P1000ZHJJ1
CSC: P1000ZHJJ3

No need to load the pit file if you don't repartition
the name "ZH" shows it does a hongkong edition, as manufacturer's rom naming rules, ZT is a taiwan edition, ZCH is a china mainland edition, etc.
I am in USA and brought a ATT TAB. I have to flash to Jk5 for voice call . JK5 does not has Chinese input support.
Is this ZHJK1 support English and Chinese input? with voice call function?
Otherwise, what is the best chinese handwriting app?
Just install a Chinese IME like Google PinYin IME to input Chinese. No need to flash at all.

[Q] firmware update. How to? help needed!

Hi to all,
After more than 5 year using windows mobile, and a lot of firmware updates i decided to offer myself a new mobile.
I have now (since 24th DEcember) a Samsung GT-i9000
I'm in Portugal, bought it from a portuguese operator and it came with this 2.2 firmware:
I9000XXJPK
It is network UNLOCKED
i connect it to my PC using KIES 1.5.3.10111_2 and when i tried to upgrade it to 2.2.1 i received the following message:
Model Name: GT-I9000
Actual Version: PDA: JPA / PHONE:JPK / CSC:JP1
This version could not be updated
I have a lot of applications that come from my operator.
I'd like to install a clean firmware and if possible the 2.2.1
But where can i found the apropriate version to my mobile?
I did't found any reference about XXJPK !!!
Any help please?
Thanks
use patcher 1.7 with XEU
I'm in Brazil and I have an i9000 that my sister bought my in a travel to Lisboa. I'm just using XXJPY and it's great. I flashed with Odin.

[Q] RTL Hebrew and numbers

Hello,
I installed android 2.3.3 on my Galaxy S i9000 and it's work just great
The only problem I have is Hebrew & number RTL order.
I installed MultiLing Gingerbread Keyboard with English & Hebrew plug-in.
When I try Hebrew and numbers the numbers in wrong order.
e.g. if I try to type 40 (forty) I'm getting 04 (Zero & four).
I tried to change the RTL settings in the keyboard but didn't help.
Any idea ?
It's not happen in all application.
In the email or Google search it's fine.
Buy WhatApp or SMS it's not fine
wait for the Israeli developers will fix the problem...
there isn't fix...
if you want a RTL support use PilotX Full Hebrew or download Darky and than install the hebrew fix for darky.
or other option flash one of the three stock Israel stock ROMs (Orange, Cellcom, Pelephone)
RTL Hebrew and numbers
