Currently This is the only way to allow you to get S-OFF, and enable ROOT/Custom roms on the HTC Salsa

You need S-off and custom bootloader from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2316726
flash a modified firmware
You can find them in one developement forum
Hi guys,
Got a GSM HTC One M7 (HTC__001)
Its bootloader is unlocked and I have S-Off.
No matter which recovery I flash I can't boot into it. I get the following screen:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I've tried TWRP, CWM, philtouchwiz etc. I am able to flash them via fastboot but nothing else.
I have had the screen replaced in the past but I'm not sure what that would have to do with it.

I can't the new update to install on my rooted 626s from metro.
You might have remove root and flash stock recovery. Also relock the bootloader, I'm not 100% certain that will work tho... Since I've never tried it.

Marshmallow?? Did the unsuccessful update brake your autocorrect?
