This Rom is made for the Captivate originally, and this Theme caught my eye and i turned it into a adventure to make it a Port for my lovely phone, till Today i did not know anything about Roms(Porting) and Thanks to a very patient man Bosina,i was able to Port this successfully.

16 was done by the Rom builder, but i will asking on changing that in the next update and on 20 it means 50% faster to get a Fix on GPS, need to word it properly lol

2. Boot into recovery.
3. Nandroid it.
4. Do a full wipe.
5. Apply zip from SD card and choose the ROM.

7. Be patient, it takes a few minutes to boot the first time.

i also do light theming too, so if you want a themed status bar, lockscreen icons, etc in your rom, i could cook it in .

You know what would be cool. If someone made a lockscreen using the stargate. And you had to dial a stargate address to unlock the screen. That would be awsome.

Even if its signed there is a possibility of something bad, as you put it. Anyone could create a key and sign it. I don't believe there have been any malicious roms but that is what the community is here for. I'm sure ppl smarter then myself disect everything in a Rom to make sure nothing is malicious. Props to OP will be testing tonight.

In the end, theres really not too much one could do to watch for "bad stuff." I don't even know what bad stuff you'd be looking for though, keyloggers? If theres one of those, all you'd have to do is double check the input section to make sure it's a legit IME. Other than that, ATK would help you look for anything else.
The fact of the matter is most of these roms just aren't signed, unless you're building from aosp, or you take the keys out of the rom that you're modifying.

Hows the working for anyone? I have Bi-winning 3 and the bluetooth headphones and music playback in general sucks. I play music on my phone A LOT, so I need a new ROM...
Love the ROM so far! Haven't connected Bluetooth yet but everything else is great. I like plain Vanilla though without all the BS trim and crazy colors and all that jazz. Added the Spare Parts apk and turned up min in setcpu. Running VERY smooth!

Same for me on numbers 1 & 2.
never tried the others...looks fantastic, feels smooth but no use without wifi and mobile

For mobile data you have to configure the APN manually, I did the same its working, the actual bug is that this ROM has very limited or no APN.
For front Camera just flash Virtous Unity v4.0 kernel and it will be OK.
Even I am waiting for a Wifi fix, OC I do not use so its fine
I bet they'll update to 3.0 because they don't want everyone to use ported versions of it

Yes that's how I did it as well. Something to do with Ext3? Saw a note at the botrom of first post but not sure what needs to be Ext3?

I did a full wipe before but my question is if any of the partitions needs to be EXT3 rather than EXT4 to flash new kernel?

So far, no. It's not "that rom". It's a CM10 with some libs. I dont know who put it together, but it is working fine

Thanks for your response... saves me a backup and a flash I really like the look and feel of the leaked ROM. Once HSPA 10 starts working again, I think it would be pretty stable.

I think there is a bit much paranoia involved with "This Rom" leak. If there was a take down request I bet it was likely Google for Gapps or AT&T for their apk's. Possibly Apple/Authentic but not likely as they said they would honor contracts through year's end. Kennethpenn already said there was no legitimate take down request and only closed the thread as a courtesy to Epinter's own request. I think if anything was in violation the request to take down would be stage one and noncompliance would result in further legal action.
Sorry for off-topic but hope devs continue to work without fear of legal repercussions.

What you got? I couldnt understand. Did you full wipe?
Rebooting probably due to overheating. Will try again after my phone cools down for a bit. This suggests that maybe the logging wasn't fixed.
