In case anyone wants it, this is the news and weather apk that def works on the Gtab. If anyone wants to include in their rom please give credit where credit is due.
For the few that may have any problems with the original apk here is a new (signed genie apk) optimized one!
ANDDDD for those who want an optimized widget (RC2) with the normal gray background here you go!
I know this is a lot of news and weather widgets LOL I promise I am moving on to bigger things But I love blue and this last one is for anyone else that does too! I can do other colors if anyone wants, just ask, I would be happy! All i ask is that you hit the thanks button if you like, thank you!

All 4 end up saying Application not installed on my Gtab running vegan 5.1.1
If you have a news and weather widget already installed then uninstall them first and then reinstall, let me know
and if that doesnt work try side loading them with something like dropbox then install from there
oh and if that doesnt work then adb push them, if your not familair i can tell you how or give you a few programs that should do the push for you

Have metamorph 1.7, i choose "pick theme" but nothing shows to be able to apply?
Any help on this?
It would be nice to use the Nexus lockscreen and boot screen on 1.6 roms but that probably wont be happening anytime soon.

The wallpaper is not included in the zip file. Any chance sharing the wallpaper from your post?

Awsome, i have been looking all over for this Power widger. does anyone know where to get the one with the blue instead of the green?
Now that more and more themes are rolling out for the Fascinate I figured it would be time to start a Fascinate specific thread with screenshots of your layouts/themes. Ill start it off with something I finished last night. Will be changing it up probably every other day until I find something that is crazily perfect haha.

Pull them, edit images, push back into system. Don't worry I will release a flashable zip for the themed widgets.
Here are mine as they go from left to right on my phone.
^^^How the hell did you get you contact pics to look that good? Mine look like a digital camera from 1991 took them, atleast in the people widget they do.
They're the pictures that I assigned to my Gmail contacts on my computer. They were taken with a 10mp camera.
Wish I knew how to do more......

That's the youtube.apk from froyo I believe. The video quality is better if you ask me.

Quick question: I do not see some widget specific .apk's in my system/apps, so where would those be located? I'm thinking data/apps but I'm not sure. Sorry ahead of time if this is a noob question.

Correct on the widgets, they were actually started by someone else but lynx took over at one point.
All your system apps will be in system/app and installed or market apps in data/app.
I will release a zip that will push any themed widgets to system/app.

yeah, sorry I ran into a couple of issues with that, I'll just start over with one that already has 5 screens and add in my blue images

I installed this and its great but seems it just got updated to 1.4.2 so upgrading will replace this awesome theme, any way this can be done for the latest version...thanks for your time!
