Hey guys,
I haven't upgraded my Acer Liquid in a while, the last ROM I loaded on was the BETA version of Froyo 2.2.
What is the best ROM/Firmware for my Acer Liquid now? Could you please direct me to a download?
I see a lot of different roms been thrown around but I need to know what is the best, opinions?
Thank You
I think you have to search at liquid.modaco.com. Some gingerbread rom and others.
Yeah, latest MIUI, LeoGinger, and CM7.0-Kang (my current choice atm) are all good roms me thinks. And also i've read that you should avoid the VFIT-based rom because of battery drain.
LeoGinger + 1
the most stable and problem-less 2.3 rom in my experience

Please give me answers, i'm confused on wich rom i have to install !
You can't really be told. It's personal preference.
As it stands, the only fully functional Gingerbread option is the official (or a slightly tweaked official) offering.
Hi guys,
I got recently a Tab 10.1 GT-P7510 from BestBuy and performed a firmware update.
It added an insane amount of bloatware, as well everything on the design was changed. In short, I really hate what Samsung did.
I was wondering if you can recommend a good ROM that I can flash it with Odin... something that sticks with stock Android 3.1 version.
Kernel version: 2.6.36.3 [email protected] #1
Build number: HMJ37.UEKME P7510UEKME
I'm not familiar with the ROM's updates... that is why I would rather ask here first, before bricking the tablet. Thanks a lot for your help.
Edit: Wrong forum, can you please move the thread to Tab 10.1 Q/A?
I just got mine yesterday from Best Buys and directly installed task650 rom.
if u want to take a look: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1227800

Hello,
I`m new to the forum and new to the android world. I have the droid 3 winth android 2.3, and I`ve been looking for a way to upgrade it to ICS. I would like to know if there is any way to upgrade the droid 3 to android 4.0, but with a stable version, because i read about some roms that comes with a lot of bugs, like the camera not working or others problems. So please, is there any great android 4.0 rom for my droid 3 ??
Thanks, and sorry if i disrespect any rule !

Yes there's a ICS with but it's not stable and not finished and it probably won't be finished. This is because after the ICS version a way was found to load custom kernel on D3. Hashcode is currently busy getting JB to work with a custom kernel on the D3, and while it doens't have camera it's way faster and very close to a daily rom IMO.

Hi,
I am currently contemplating whether or not to replace the stock manufacter's firmware with a custom ROM on my Samsung Galaxy S I9000.
I have recently helped a friend to do the same with his Samsung Galaxy Ace and we successfully installed Cyanogen v7, which is based on Gingerbread 2.3.7.
However, there is a key issue with this firmware that has put me off going down the same route with my own phone. Unfortunately, the OS forces you to display your numbers in the traditional American format (XXX-XXX-XXXX). For me as a UK user, this just isnt' practical and has already caused some recognition issues with other apps on the galaxy ace.
I was wondering if this issue has been fixed in v10 of CM, or I was also looking at installing Helly Bean, if not, is anyone aware of some custom firmware that is friendly to UK users and offers the same features as CM?
Please folks, someone must know something on this subject? Surely all the custom ROMs out there can't be completely America-Centric???!
I appear to have made a mistake upgrading the standard firmware as the 2.3.7 release samsung have given me to upgrade my phone is the worse version of android I've used to date!
I have hellybean and it does not in fact I have never come across a ROM that does that I would personally tell your friend he should try another rom

Hey guys, I was wondering, after trying lots of different ROMS, and realising that only GB will run smoothly on our weak device.
So tell me, which is the best GingerBread ROM in your opinion?
Emanon v7-like it very much, stable and fast with many customization :good:
More[initial version],emanon v7,chocobread,jana romv6.7 are best in stock based GB roms...
official Cm7.2,cyanmobile[21/7/2012],iMini,NewExperience are best in CM Gb based..
the above are best according to me..
