Using Recovery Method: You need to extract the zip. Then install the extracted zip file from the SD card in recovery mode. (Full credits go to fishears for this method)
Using Fastboot Method: Use the "fastboot flash system system.img" command (without the "). You can do a backup afterwards in recovery mode.
You can extract it with root explorer on your phone. However, if you encounter system errors then, try using suggested backup apps mentioned below.

@Quarx is there any easier way of making a cm 2.3 rom for the gt540 i did read somewere that you copy some lib files and the hw folder to a custom rom and compile it and it should work?

you need to flash gingerbread to unlock your bootbloader then its easy to do so just flash it via odin like what you did now , and after you flash gingerbread stock safe from overcome , you can then put the rom in your sdcard (memory) and flash it via CWM
you must be over GINGERBREAD to do all of that so this is almost the things you need to do , but for more guides and to make sure you are 100% so see their thread in the dev section

I follow this guild yesterday but i failed ..

flash the stock safe 1st during you downloading the IRACUS nowipe or wipe it doens't matter because stock safe will wipe everything for you
after you flash it , wait you'll hear women robot voice telling you about the procces , after its done it will reboot your tab , after your tab boot , put the rom you downloaded (nowipe or wipe) in your sdcard , reboot away to cwm (recovery mode) and install the rom from there and here you go up and running
you should buy me roz bilabn from saber or mashawi from hosni after i come to egypt in ramadan for this

- Grab the “001002-Overcome_v3.0.0_ICARUS_NoWipe.zip” file from these link:
- Copy the update zip file at the root of your internal SD. Then fire up the CWM recovery, and choose the “install zip from sdcard” and look for the 001002-Overcome_v3.0.0_ICARUS_NoWipe file. Then update away.
- After it is done installing, it’s considered a best practice to wipe the Cache and the Dalvik Cache. (The new installer takes care of that now…) Then reboot.
- Do be prepared for a long first boot after that, as the system would need some time rebuilding the cache and the dalvik cache. It’ll return to the normal, speedy boot times after that… and there’s no need to flash the kernel, as the updater and the full ROM would always contain the latest kernel…

Man it is working flowlessly on my ARC-LT15i with stock ICS beta kernel with CWM. every things are working ...thanks man....
X-loud & Bravia settings are under factory setting.
one porblem i m facing that is My backuppro is not working even after given the permission...

Dear Root Explorer & Titaniam Backup is working with root privilege, so there is already root by the kernel...

Ok this way like you know I had no changes to test it on my own, open/download superuser and turn permissions switch on then apps should get it.
You would need to install busybox from market too.

Use set cpu or similar to change it

Wow i love MIUI roms. I willing to pay 16$ to unlock my bootloader if this also works on LT15i . Official ICS can just go to hell i want this.

Yes i have made it from official site & it's free...

going to give this a try and see how it goes. Have never used a stock rom on arc yet after experiencing all the problems with custom roms on x10.

Hello im quite new to flashing rooms can i install this on arc s with locked bootloader and without root ?
Installation:
boot.img inside zip, flash through fastboot then install zip through recovery and remember do nandroid backup before

There is no change log for now because this is the First version of the ROM. I had many test versions before but i kept my Beta closed (I used dropbox).
I will post a log if i make changes, however i don't think that will happen until the G gets ICS

OK so if i got it right this mod add's an Arabic keybord ? (and RTL for LB1 - not needed)
ill add it to the main page as an option to add Arabic keybord and writing support

yes that's right, you get the arabic keyboard and the arabic in the browser.. i just flashed the patch ( https://rapidshare.com/files/1676660260/Genius.Lizard2_Arabic_FarsiLan_XXLB1_3.zip ) without the keyboard

It's written in OP that has the June security patch.
This firmware is the equivalent of 10L for other regions/nations

I see it now， but the first time I read this thread, the patch level still empty.

10l was/is for EU Open only. So I couldn't imagine, that 10n is an equivalent for the older one.

Look in to your build.prop and search for this lines: ro.product.model = LG-H870
ro.product.brand = lge
ro.product.name = lucye_global_com
ro.product.device = Lucye.
If they are identical with yours, it should be possible.
Don't forget, do a full backup of your system data etc.
