I want a simple lockscreen without having to install a theme, as I don't want changes to my wallpaper or notification bar. What I have in mind is something like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I don't need any further customisations, so I wonder if the only way I can get it is to purchase an a lockscreen app? I have some paid apps, but I believe I'll really under-utilise the lockscreen ones, so if there are some free and legitimate files that I can use, that will be great! TIA.
Does anybody know?
You can always use metamorph if you don't want to flash a full theme.

Thanks for the tip. I checked up Metamorph and it's really beyond me. So I got the widgetlocker app.
But I'll bookmark the really cool Metamorph thread and refer to it if I ever become my tech savvy!
I use widget locker, you have to pay, but it's a brilliant app

+1 for WidgetLocker
Now that I've got widgetlocker, I think it totally rocks! Especially when used with the themes created by people from XDA!
I was a little put-pff by the screencaptures I saw on appbrain, which aren't exactly nice.

I keep getting questions about where to find icons, so I thought I'd share my new batch. Screenshots show what they look like, icons are zipped in the link below. Be happy to add any requested, and will post any additional sets I make.
If anyone has any others, feel free to link or post.

Nice, clean look. Love the wallpaper!
Got a good laugh at work out of the Free Porn one. I am loving the wallpaper and minimalist icon set. Thanks!
Lol. Yeah, I made alternates for a few apps that I use. Not difficult stuff to do, and I plan on working out some more interesting font work in GIMP as I have time, but I get enough pm's and tweets asking about my fonts that I figured someone might want them. I don't like to post the sets I have already downloaded because I don't know who to give credit to. Lol

Keep up such a good work, man
I like everything in it but the big clock........... the clock widget you hooked looks quite big, doesn't it? Hope you can look for something less invasive
Look forward to updates!
the clock is part of beautiful widgets, is not the issue.
Of course it is....... I don't want to rain on your parade, but it could be narrower....... you can look at it, unless you're blind..... you may get extra room for other widgets you use more often than taking a look at the clock, or not?
Is there anyone who have zip file of widget locker theme that have a ring style like on cm7 by tj_style? This is the style of the theme i want

I've been looking everywhere and I think that TeslaCoil needs to update Widgetlocker before having ring sliders, so there's no way to that yet.
Yup,gotta take this to kevin..but i think for him stock roms come first and then custom...so not sure if he'll add the ring locks
I already asked him on Twitter....but he seemed to ignore my question

My first Go Launcher Theme with definitely more to come!
Hope you enjoy and have a Happy Halloween.
There are two additional wallpapers as attachments that I haven't added into the app yet. (Still trying to figure out how to have more than the default two.)
These wallpapers are just for fun. The two already included with the app are awesome and are a little higher quality.

These Toggle and Battery widgets are available through the Beautiful Widgets app.
Ok, don't you think it's just a little bit too much and crowded?
Lol.....that's some nice work.

Could you please elaborate on that a little and explain what you mean? What don't you like?
My eyes even can not open because of the shining orange. You bet that's just because I have been used to more moderate theme. However, I will download it and have a try.
Yes, just like that. Maybe I can only tell you if there is anything I don't like after I use it for a while.
Looks good to me. Isn't too bright on my X. Love the app drawer. it's definitely more detailed than most go launcher themes I've used
Anyone else want to give it a try?
So I'm using Illest Icons2, and the icon for the default MIUI camera app is really nice, but I don't use that app.
I use Vignette and there's not a custom icon for that app.
How would I go about changing the mtz to set the icon for the default camera, to Vignette, so I can have it on the homescreen without it looking out of place?

Steps 1 through 4 can be avoided if you just review the icons in
/data/system/customized_icons_1/
essentially all non-themed apps have an icon present in here.
Sorry to ring a dead topic back to life, but would this also apply to replacing one non-themed icon with a themed one? Like the Opera mini app with the stock browser's icon...
