This theme was originally created for Corvus5 ROM for the Vega, but this is built originally on the VEGAn Tab framework so it should HOPEFULLY work on here too!
OK, so for my second theme entry I have created an actual framework theme (status bar icons, custom boot animation, wallpaper etc). This theme replaces ALL statuis icons. Wifi, 3G (if you use it), battery etc etc. It also replaces most of the screen transition animations for nice, smooth swipe animations (and flyin animation for the popup menu's) that should look good with the rest of the theme. On top of this, there is also a shiny boot animation in keeping with the whole theme which installs with it (high res made for the Vega's larger screen). Everything has been created from scratch (I will attatch the source PSD files at the bottom of this post for those who wish to see how I did it, or want to edit something).
The core of this theme was created for my newly released ROM Corvus5 (created by myself and the very talented corvus) for the Advent Vega.
This is a modified version of that theme, which removes the Corvus5 logo and bootanimation, and replaces them with the standard GRID ones (again, created by me ). This has been tweaked slightly to work on other ROMS. You should be able to install this on Modaco R8, Corvus 0.5 and possibly others (I have only tested these two though!).
DOWNLOAD GRID AND FIGHT FOR THE USERS!
Flash this zip in ClockworkMod ... Be aware that if you do this after using your rom for a while, it will wipe your google account settings (sorry, unavoidable!).

I am currently running this on CM-4.2.2, but I don't see why it shouldn't work on any 1.6 based rom.

Dude where can i extract the power control widget from the roms? where is it located? and do i install this i unzip it into the settings apk ?

The power widget itself is a part of the Settings.apk file in /system/apps/. To install this theme, you need to use MetaMorph.
in theory you could pull and replace/push the settings.apk on your phone... it would just give u a different settings icon, but should still cross over... assuming its based on 1.6, not sure much if different

i just tried on latest cyanogen and worked perfect. no reboot or problems. excellent job!
Just installed on the new Cyanogen 4.2.4 and its working with no problems.
installed on ra 1.6.2 with metamorph.

I just Metamorphed it on to CSDIv4 and it works great, HOWEVER it seems kinda small on my screen. maybe a tad bigger and it would be just right.
Does not work on SuperD 1.10.2 with Darkstar theme, unfortunately
Does it work on stock roms? Im getting an error message from Metamorph saying "The theme you selected is invalid because the theme control file could not be read or may be missing". Running on Nexus one using MM 1.9.4
This is my black theme for xROM Eclair-v1.0 by JAC.
I took some stuff from cloverdales theme, improved some things, added new icons and some nice extras and here it is for you!
Its fully compatible to xROM Eclair-v1.0 by JAC
Installation:
Install JAC's ROM, run the rom once, do the startup configuration, reboot and THEN flash the theme.
I also clear the Dalvik-Cache after flashing the theme (just in case).

looks great, seems to add some lag ontop of X-Rom, but in all fairness I think we're at another point with all the roms where features are being added and the fat will be trimmed later...

mytouch has latest radio. you need engineering spl as it says in description of the xrom. and create your signature so every1 knows what you have.

Boot loop after flashing theme
I installed the newest xROM 2.1 and attempted to load the theme but it boot loops afterwards.
EDIT: theme works on version 1.0 but not 1.01

No I'm afraid, it is impossible to port over the necessary htc framework needed for the 2 applications.

no idea, it shouldnt, try wiping dalvik cache and flash again.
Just flashed dalvik and flash zip. Same problem. Feeling sad

I have been trying to find a starting point to a framework/rom based theme for a while now but there is so much involved that I was having a really hard time coming up with the overall concept so that it would feel like a true theme. I recently loaded the Andromeda 1.0 rom on my captivate and have fallen in love with it while being reminded at the same time of some features I really enjoy in the stock Touchwiz Launcher. So I started making some elements to match the blue stock color base that Touchwiz utilizes(While I love the un-themed Andromeda 1.0 some of the elements were definitely not my style, like the settings and boot menus). This theme is being posted as a work in progress so please be aware that some themed elements may be incomplete or partially themed.

I started Andromeda on 2.0 and don't want to go through a complete wipe to get back to 1.1. I was running Cezars theme against 2.0 which I liked but it is not compatible with 2.1. I'll give it some time for the themers too hook it up
I have it inverted also in another thread in the Fascinate section but it's more of a Holo theme than Blacked Out...
This thread is for the Transparent Version tho. This is a huge accomplishment since I'm pretty sure this has never been done. There have been transparent Talks but none of them had the chat screen done also.. so this is really cool!..

1. http://bit.ly/403TalkNOmanifestEdit Download this zip file and flash it in recovery or rom manager... once the device reboots, check your talk.apk and make sure it's working.. it'll be partially themed. If so, reboot your phone again.
2. Once the phone reboots, download this http://bit.ly/403TalkTransparent and flash it in recovery or rom manager.. Once it reboots you should have a fully transparent GTalk.apk
3. If you lose Talk at any point or just wanna go back to stock, download this http://bit.ly/stock403Talk .. it's the stock Talk.apk and flash it
This install method is the only way I got it to work and credits to TravP for collaborating with me on getting this to install due to the weird GApps issues when we touch the manifest.

Only thing I can find is the notification pop up menu.. it's white with black text. We're still looking into this one...

I have a Fascinate, not a Gnex.. So I don't know if this will work on other ICS Roms. Feel free to try it and feel free to add them to a zip file that will support your device.. The zip file I used is from the GApps I installed with the rom just to ensure it installs.. I'll add a "how to" guide later for anyone that want's to know...
works great for me. one request, would it be too hard to still leave black on the top navigation bar? or maybe a darker tint of some sort... I use the awesome plasma live wallpaper and the part behind the name while in a chat is almost exactly the same color as the wallpaper.

Its a tough app to theme since it has install issues so I plan on leaving it as is..
Contacts is a biyatch... it force closes the dialer so I plan on compiling it from source to invert it.. along with calendar and the built in keyboard....
