I think it comes with 2.32.651.2 OTA update, which I can't do because on a Sense ROM, going to 'About Phone' > 'System Updates' > doesn't work for my situation.
Does anyone have this file? Or guide me on how to get PRI 2.65_003 manually (not OTA)?
Resolved!
0 - create backup
1 - install ClockWork 2.5.0.7 (#2 wouldn't install with my 3.0.2.4)
2 - install NFX Sprint 2.31.651.7 STOCK ODEX with A2sd Update3
3 - update PRL manually with ##PRL# (since ##PRL# is removed with #4, I think?)
4 - install OTA_HeroC_Sprint_2.32.651.2 (thanks to jasonmaloney) <~~~ this was my missing link
5 - install RegawMOD Hero Rooter v1.3 (to root/install clockwork 3.0.0.5)
6 - create backup of Sense rom
7 - restore back aospCmod!
...and wipe, wipe, wipe.
General consensus on this is you'll have to nandroid, run a RUU (.7), accept the 651.2 OTA, re-root (unless you're s-off ), re-flash your recovery and then restore nand backup.
I just googled "2.32.651.2 OTA update."

Thanks but like I said in the OP, I cannot 'accept the 651.2 OTA'. It fails, same with the PRL update.

Have you tried accepting the OTA while on the RUU or just on a rooted "Sense" ROM? If you haven't tried the RUU route it may be worth a shot. But as far as I know and as 24601 posted in the aospCMod thread, that 651.2 is only available OTA.

Again OTA's fail. I need to do it manually. Isn't the 2.32.651.2 OTA patch stored on the phone before its applied. If so, thats all I need.

Sorry to keep harping on the OTA, but you didn't mention that you tried RUU. So I'm just going to assume that you have. As far as the patch being stored on the phone, that I don't know. Maybe someone who knows will reply.

No problem man. Happy to help, and if I find anything I'll let you know. Not sure what nfinite is up to these days but as far as I know he was the only one that made a stock ROM based on 651.2. Maybe send him a PM and see if he can be of any help. May be worth a shot.

I would also suggest you send member oostah a PM, he has all kinds of crazy stuff, like a verizon radio image, and a PRL from the evo - he knows how to do it manually (I think) and some good ones to try. I would HIGHLY recommend you get an unlocked bootloader - aka "s-off" - BEFORE you do this stuff.

I just tried flashing the 2nd link, it tells me

E:Verification failed
Is it because I'm using Amon_RA 1.7? I downgraded from CWM 3.0.2.4 just to flash nfx's stock 2.31.651.7 ROM
edit: is it meant to be flashed through fastboot?
tried it and it says FAILED (remote: 12 signature verify fail)

These are the OTA updates you get when running stock. They're probably not going to work on other ROMs. They're signed by HTC, so you either need to use the stock recovery or turn off signature verification.

Yeah, I dealt with this last night tho the only advantage to having the latest PRI/PRL for me seems to be that I can say I have them. I didn't go the same route exactly as you, I used ruu and then did an ota. However it does seem that the pri will not update unless you upgrade from the *.7 to the *.2, as I had flashed the .2 many times by itself.

A lot of info and file links to T-Mobile Nexus One, none/very little on AT&T Nexus One:
Background: AT&T Nexus One, rooted, RA Recovery, FRF72.
Would like to bring it back to STOCK AT&T Nexus One EPE54B
The normal process would be to use the passimg.zip file and go into bootloader to auto restore back to stock everything. Tried it with one I found, didn't work ("main versions is newer" error),
Tried with PASSIMG_Passion_Google_WWE_1.09.1700.1_EPE54B_release_signed.zip renamed and got the same error.
Tried PASSIMG_Passion_Google_WWE_1.01.1700.1_ERD79_release_signed.zip renamed same thing, the only one that worked was EPF30 (but that's EURO version, weird).
So, is there a passimg.zip SPECIFIC to the AT&T Nexus One?
Any other ideas?

Hmm, yes, that's the filename that I used. I was all over the place last night and can't swear 100% that is where I got my file from, but I'm 95% certain.
Mine was not rooted, just bootloader unlocked. not that I think it matters.
Originally I tried to flash the recovery.img from the above file, to see if I could use the 50>83. zip, but it was a no-go, so I reverted my recovery.img to Amon 1.7, went into Recovery, wiped back to factory, hboot'ed found PASSIMG.zip and installed, it was very easy.
I'm sorry I have no idea why yours failed. you might want to check the MD5 hash /shrug/
Ok I figured it out.
Use custom recovery to just flash this zip file found on modaco.com
"This is the stock image repacked to an update ZIP for installation via a custom recovery image. It is completely stock, secure and unrooted."

Yeah I don't know what's going on, I've tried a ton of passimg files, and it will NOT work, this was the only way I could even get EPE54B.
Im in the same boat. I have stock ROM but RA recovery. Cant install the official OTA without stock recovery. A lot of info on TMobile ROM, but very little for EPE54B for us ATT people. :-(
If you unlocked the bootloader to get the custom recovery, you shouldn't have a problem using the ERE54B PASSIMG, you're only prevented using an older ROM with the stock bootloader.
Some say it isn't possible, because of the radio version.
Thats not it at all. HBOOT was updated, and as such, keeps the RUU from working.
However:
Anything is possible with Android.
http://androidforums.com/all-things...16-how-revert-back-earlier-version-hboot.html
This method will allow you to remove the OTA by using RUU leaks we already have. I did it myself last night after messing up my phone trying to flash an old radio through clockwork
Read: Its not a radio issue that would keep you from updating, its an HBOOT version issue.
720p OTA Leak:
CID:VZW__001
ROM:1.36.605.0
You need to use the older OS version if you want to revert to an older RUU, I believe. Not sure the CID matters either. The img file I provided that worked, I used HTC_002.

I am taking a bit of leap of faith here, but I think it all gets overwritten by the RUU anyway.

If you're already on 4.2.2 I HIGHLY doubt you need it. IF it's a firmware update, then it might include things like a new screen touchpad update (which I don't recommend installing because it could possibly break your custom recovery) and a new radio file and irl. The most important part of that is the radio update and I wouldn't even really call it "important". More like USEFUL then anything else. So what you can do and what I recommend you do is: don't worry about your failed update. Find the latest radio.zip (flashable through custom recovery) file and install it. Let me know if you need help!

In order to receive and install an OTA update you need to have stock recovery... you have a custom recovery (CWM) which is why the update fails.
You have 3 options..... search, find and flash the stock recovery for your device, flash a custom rom based on 2.24.401.8 or stay as you are.
For radios this link is a list of all the radios released for the One, each can be flashed through CWM recovery.

One of the benefits to being s-off is you don't have to take the OTA...you just flash the firmware and done.

i did that and then i was unable to take profile or prl updates :crying: it also didnt apear to have fixed the signal issue... i might not have waited enough... or it could have something to do with the unability to take prl and profile updates... anyhow ill try again from a diferent download see what happens
Did your baseband change? last four should be .0610.
If it did change then it's most likely a network issue.

Yes the baseband did change but the signal problem persists. i need to take the FULL ota to fix my phone (or install something else that will) regardless the radios alone aren't fixing the issue.
i tried flashing the rafios by themselves and it wouldnt update prl or profile; it also had the same signal issue. i tried the radios AND the new stock rom for it and same thing. i tried going back to stock and taking the ota and the ota wouldnt install.
Thoughs?
I'm the same root/s-off. I flash the h/k sound file did you find a way to install the latest ota update?
I cant figure out how to get the OTA either
I have S-Off im also rooted, and i have TWRP recovery, i can't get the zip to flash. I was thinking about doing a stock root recovery using the RUU, but then i thought if i do that, would i still be able to reroot using the same method? so my question is, how can i flash this zip and keep my root? or should do a stock recovery from the RUU and update and wait for another root? if any devs read this, i'd really like your help please and thank you. I currently have the stock rom with just root access and S-Off.no custom roms on here.

I tried that and failed, I returned to a completely stock rooted backup from the day I rooted, downloaded the update, chose install, it rebooted to recovery, saw no stock recovery, so it brought up TWRP and thats it.........

You have to have stock recovery to take the update, which means you have to flash stock recovery first and then take the update, then repeat the rooting process.

you should at least have seen a green arrow circle and/or a red triangle with a "!" in the middle. if you saw the triangle that is recovery trying and failing to update. at this point if you press and releast volumeup+power it should bring up the text of what it did.

I am dev unlocked, rooted, s-on with twrp. If I revert to stock recovery would I be able to take the OTA then reinstall twrp?
Many thanks!

I'm looking at the MikMik one, and I am just not sure if this will erase all my apps and settings. Do I need to use a backup app or should I be ok flashing this and keeping all my apps and settings?
