[Q] Problem charging Nexus S with Samsung car charger - Nexus S Accessories

Hey all,
I have a problem charging my Nexus S with the car charger I bought from Samsung. When I plugg the charging cable in, the battery starts charging but stops after some time.
I tried it several times plugging the cable on and off again. No charging. I tried it again after about 45 minutes and the battery started to charge again but stopped again a little later.
Has anybody experienced the same?

maybe the cigarette lighter plug gets loose after a while?
mine has that problem, and i need to plug it back in to continue charging

Thank's for the advice.
But I plugged the car charger into the cigarette lighter several times and it wouldn't start charging again.

[Q] USB Not Working..fried?

So I got home today and plugged in my phone to my wall charger and noticed no charging light or no indication on the screen the phone was charging. I tried plugging it into my computer and got the same thing, no response from it. I tried it in my car charger and the same thing. Now I know it was working earlier today because it had it plugged into my car charger and it was charging.
I did smell like a burnt smell after I pulled the usb cable out from the phone. Could it usb connector be fried? Anyone else have this problem?
I'm not sure if AT&T will cover it. Now I can't get it back to stock because I don't have the files on my phone and soon I'll have no battery left.

Charging problems with note 4 - both USB and Wireless.

About a month ago my Note 4 stopped charging properly. I thought the battery was just getting on in age but with some troubleshooting I've noticed some symptoms-
#1- No longer shows up as Fast Charger plugged in. Whether it is Quick Charger, Regular 1A Charger, USB cable to Car Charger- it always shows up as USB Charging. This takes about 8 hours for a full charge.
#2 - Phone no longer connects to computer via USB .
#3 - Today I attempted to put a Wireless Qi Charger in, and while I was able to get some charging on a friends note. My Note seemingly is unaffected, even though the Qi Charging comes from the back plates- NOT from the USB port.
I'm guessing my 'charging unit' is damaged. Though I'm willing to hear out any suggestions.
Can anyone think of any components that would make this so?
Right now an external battery charger seems the only reasonable fix.

Car charger problem

So i am having this problem, wonder if anyone else is also. I reported it to samsung.
The problem is when using a car charge my phone will say charging like normal. BUT then it will says "powering connected usb device".
It will say this the whole time it is charging.
Its a 5v 2amp charger i am using a micro usb cable with the included usb c adapter.
I use the this same charger for my s7 edge without problems.
Now the kicker here. Once i unplug the note 7 from the charger it will keep to saying "powering connected usb device"
The battery icon will flip between the power out icon and normal battery.
The first time it did i had to reboot the phone so it would stop.
The next time it went away after a few minutes.
I havent try using a usb c cable, but will later today.
Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem. Its probably OS related or have something to do with the adapters.
Just wondering if anyone else has this problem
The included micro-usb-to-usbc adapter seems to inhibit the charging speed. I used the adapter with an official Samsung Micro USB cable that came with my Note 5 and plugged it into a Samsung fast charger and the charging takes forever... Maybe you're experiencing a similar symptom?
Sent from my SM-N930T using Tapatalk
Its possible. Today i drove for about 20mins and i didnt have this problem. It charged but only went up 3% more. I should of gotten at lest 5-6% with that charger (amount i would of gotten with my s7 edge, same charger in cable)
I will do a test today with the usb c cbale plug right into the usb adapter. I only have the one for the time being
Well the problem is still here.
My wife gotnher phone and the same thing.
She needed to charger her phone.
Plug it up and it says chaning connected usb device. Just stays on the screen for a while then goes away.
Now we got out the car and turn the car off.
Then phone lit up and says powering conntect usb device. Then my rasio started to boot up and ended up in a boot loop as long as the phone was connected.
So thephone was trying to power my car through the usb charger.
This is something samsung should fix asap. There should be an option to turn this off.
Ill have another chat with samsung

Help on Charger plug (z2 pro)

Did anyone have this as well? Mostly I charge my phone when it's almost, but not completely, empty. Nothing weird going on. Last night it shut down because the battery was dead. I had put it on the charger and saw that charging had been initiated.
This morning the battery was still dead. As there is no simple way of switching to another battery I got a bit nervous. I their charging it with a couple of chargers, including one of our Samsung tablet (because that one might do 2amp)
Nothing seemed to work until I got to my work and tried again on the charger of my Logitech mouse. Then it started at slow charging, but hey better then no charging at all. I noticed the plug does not go in the slot all the way... Is that normal? I tried 2 USB c connectors and both have this. I have looked into the charger socket but I don't see anything that could block the plug.

charger/cable issues anyone?

Since 2 months ago I began experimenting some weird behavior while chargingv with either charger qc30 or 5v2a I don't get fast charge, or it's difficult, I believed it was an an issue with either cable or charging port, first I tried some cables it barely bring back fast charge, lately even with new cables neither fast charge, I swapped chargers nothing, finally I replaced the charging port with one new, same thing but stronger plug, I noticed when I plug the cable either end it recognize it and begin charge for a second or two, then drops charging, only way to charge until now it plugging the charger to an anti-noise USB extension I have.
