Anyone have this wallpaper? - Android Themes

Trying to track this down, can't find it on any of my main sites. Also if anyone has this dock, I'd be appreciative:

You might need to have DA account to download it, I'm not sure. It also has a couple of different colors included besides that blue one.

Thanks a ton!

If you easily want to find other wallpapers or pictures in the future you can use TinEye

Beginning to edit Music.apk? Advice requested.

So, I have absolutely no knowledge of any type of Android coding, but I'm hoping to learn through trial and error. I've always hated the native Music app -- especially its appearance, but also certain features here and there. My question is, how can I go about editing this?
I'm in the process of re-skinning the APK, basically replacing the old images with better ones. But how would I go about more substantive edits? Suppose I wanted to change the background color to white and the text to black, or the time-jumper at the bottom of the screen from orange, how would I go about that? There's some XML files in the APK, but whenever I open them, I get a bunch of odd characters that I can't really make sense of.
Am I correct in assuming that the source code is not available for Music.apk? If it is, how do I get it and where do I go from there?
Like I said, I'm an absolutely beginner at app creation/modding, but I'm usually a pretty quick learner. I went from zero web design experience to replacing my University's housing website with a brand new one in less than a week, so if I get a push in the right direction, I should be good to go. I did a site search for tutorials on modding a system app, but couldn't find anything.
Any help?
PS: Once I get some edits started (if I ever get that far), I'll definitely be sharing it with XDA. So, any advice you could provide could be mutually beneficial!

Something like that would be pretty simple cause its just list views that expand other list views.
As for starting to edit you can change most of the colors is the strings.xml and the layout xmls. For images make sure you dont replace .9.png with normal images. If you have the sdk setup use draw9patch in the tools folder.

Thanks, that helps. I'll get started by taking a look at that.
I'm not sure why I thought it was unavailable. I mean, some of Google's other apps are close-sourced, thought I suppose those are all part of the Google Experience.
I guess I thought that if the source code was available, someone would have improved the Music app substantially by now. In my opinion, it's terrible and could use a lot of work.

[Q] Hi, Im new and have some questiones wallpapers etc

I just got the gtablet for christmas and I just found this forum. I hope this wasnt asked before if it was please direct me. How do I change the wallpaper? I have it setup as classic home. Also while on classic home I only have the following icons weather, news, photos, music, videos, and clock how do I get all my icons there instead of touching the 3rd icon down in the lil tool box on the side? I also read on here about people loading different software on instead of the taptap thing it uses. What are the advantages of the different software? Sorry its long..Thanks

Maybe start here: http://gtabfans.com/
That will give you some basics about the different roms and other things.
Then read, and read, and read some more.
Most importantly is whatever you decide.. "Follow The Steps EXACTLY" Don't not do them because it just doesn't seem right. It is very easy to mod this tablet. It is also very easy to run into problems. None of the problems are real serious, and can be fixed but they will make you nuts trying to figure out what happened. So follow the directions....
The reason people put different roms on there tablet, or phone, or whatever is to gain features, to fix things that don't work right, and to gain performance. Out of the box the tablet is not bad nowadays in comparison to what was loaded on it when I first got mine.
If you are new to this, read, read, read....... And don't be afraid. It is hard to really break this thing...
im so lost lol i tried to install that clockwordmod thingy and i cant get it...so frustrating
I believe there are two different update.zip files for clockwork. One for internal sd and one for external. I used the external. Put it on micro sd, insert, power down, boot into recovery with power and volume +, and voila... There are several great tutorials on this site...
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App

1st, Way to go with making the move to a custom rom.
Setting wallpaper
-All you need to do is press and hold on the home screen.
-You will see a pop up with options.
-Go to wallpaper.
-Select where you are getting the wallpaper from.
-Choose your wallpaper and you will have to crop it a bit and save...
You should now have your wallpaper set.
For Clocks you need to go to the market and choose your preference of clocks for example like typoclock and do sort of the same as above but this time with widgets.
Hope that helps.
how do i make custom wallpaper or install ones people made on here to download?
If you download an image from the Gtablet or just transfer it to it, it should show up in your gallery. For me, I usually need to reboot for the Gallery to see new images. Once you get the wallpaper popup, one of the options is Gallery. Use that, find your image and select it.
Most of all spend some time screwing around with Android and learn the OS. Always remember the long press and the menu key. They are th skeleton keys to Android. If there's and option you're looking for, one of those two is usually how you'll find it.

Theme bookmark shortcuts??

Below is a screen snap of my home screen. My question is quite basically how can theme the bookmark shortcuts? I would like the red changed to green to better tie in with my theme. I have searched around and I cant find a solution. I'm not even sure what the proper name for them would be to search properly!
I dont mind having a go at changing them myself but if someone else has already done it and can provide the solution that would be great.
I dont mind using a third party app either if it can create some more "fitting" coloured links.
I have a HD2 running Rafdroid Desire HD ROM.
Any help please???!!!

[APP] JotPad -[U]- 9/Jan/2012 - With SkyDrive upload, multitouch, custom backgrounds

JotPad 1.3
What is the Jotapad? It's a Windows Phone app to jot down anything you want. Having a conversation with someone and really need to do a drawing to illustrate your thoughts? This is the app you've been looking for!
Want to scribble over a picture of your boss just for fun? Add a moustache and a beard like you did in the high school? Have a blast!
Just want to pass some time doing some doodles? You've came to the right place!
Anyhow, on with the show and the new features:
- SkyDrive upload, use your Windows Live ID and upload your doodles straight to your SkyDrive!
- Custom background images, use any image you have on your Pictures Hub as the background of your doodle! You can annotate in any picture.
- Save to phone, save your pictures on the phone, look at them anytime you want!
And the old favorites:
- Live Tile support, if you pin the app to the start screen it will show the last drawing you made.
- Multi touch support, using two fingers you are able to zoom, rotate and move around the page of your drawing.
- Various colors and image backgrounds, use one of the three lovely made backgrounds for that extra flair on your sketch.
Let me know what you think about it, and what should be improved. Just post in this thread and I'll be notified and get back to you.
BTW, in the next version, which I'm testing ATM, I've added advertisement, AdDuplex to be more specific to see if I can get some nice exposure for my app. What do you guys think of that? Is AdDuplex a good way to get some exposure? Can anyone with experience on this area leave some feedback please? That would be most appreciated.
looks like great app.. Any beta testing is available.

You can get the app here http://windowsphone.com/s?appid=dd496842-8119-4420-9bc6-1d39a58a6b87, straight from the Marketplace. Or just search for JotPad. Let me know what you think about it.
Nice app, I like it! I especially appreciate that it syncs with skydrive.
What is the best way to select a new background or pen color? (It's early and I probably need more coffee, thanks for bearing with my question

Press the middle button on the application bar to choose a different pen. For the background you have to go to settings and the swipe to the page background page and choose whatever background color or image you want.
Another thing I just realized, I probably should include a help page so that people know how to use the app. I was watching a review of my app on YouTube and the guy had no idea on how to use it and made it look kinda bad.
I would need it in classroom

Oh dear, I really did need more coffee earlier!! I didn't even think to swipe right in settings, although the settings page headings make it very clear there's more info available. My apologies.
Not a bad idea to have a help page, but you'll always folks like me who just weren't paying attention.
Nice app... it's a keeper!

Newbie....

Hi All
Looking to get a HTC One next week, and just have a few questions:
1) Can I change the colour notifications of the LED for different notifications i.e. email and text etc? Been told the LED will not support apps to change colour.
2) Is there a good desktop dock/charger?
Cheers
1) it only has red and green LED, so no
2) so far I've only seen this one http://www.gadgets4geeks.com.au/product/htc_one_m7_cover_mate_desktop_cradle (also available on ebay)
Great, thanks very much. I'm from the UK, so having trouble finding that dock!
So I can set say green to text messages, and red to emails?
Also, what are the best screen protectors?
Thanks again
Here is an eBay link to the dock:
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=200912701262
No you can't change the colour of the led for certain notifications I'm afraid. Green is for messages/emails/etc (and when fully charged) and red is used when charging.
As for the screen protector, I don't know much about these since I don't use them personally, but a lot of others seem to like the Spigen one ( http://www.amazon.com/SPIGEN-SGP-Protector-Steinheil-Crystal/dp/B00BUF7EI0/)
Thanks for this info, much appreciated.
Shame about the light, I've got used to the different colours!
Has anyone used this dock? Quality?
Any tip for first powering this on and setting up? Also, my Blackberry has a find my phone function, anything similar on these?
Thanks again for taking the time to reply.

No problem, glad I can help
there was a whole thread discussing that particular dock over here.
Setting up is really easy, you can add some accounts during the first boot setup menu which automatically pops up, and then you're good to go. Then all you need to do is go to the Play Store and download the apps you want and plug it in your computer to get your music and photos on it (and other things if you want to)
There are several find my phone apps available in the Play Store, and many anti-virus programs come with anti-theft built in. Htc used to have an official find my phone service, but I think they abandoned it.
