Holy hell a million downloads on launch day!
Angry Bird is fun and above average for a casual game.
That said, it's extremely overrated. Also, these plushies look cheap as heck.
Lol idk I still think its a good game but the toys are taking it a little too far...

Such a pity there isn't a game on the market called "With Myself". Can you imagine explaining to a co-worker (or a boss) what you were doing then?
BOSS: So, Smith, what are you doing?
SMITH: Oh, I'm playing "With Myself".
BOSS: What did you say?

Take it as little steps at a time. Completely learn little parts then add it all up as a sum, that's what worked for me.

Anything with strings really... Have been doing a little piano but it doesn't seem so hard lol. I started teaching myself guitar when I was twelve and when I got to college my roommate was in a traveling family band thing. I learned a bit of mandolin and fiddle then and everything just makes sense now. Though the ukulele became my standby/always with me instrument for the last few months lol
Whoa... lotsa musicians around...
Guitar = 8 years
Bass = 9 years
Nothing else, although I know how everything should sound like in a band.
@OP trying to learn how to play: Pretty easy, really, if you can sing a little. Go to ultimate-guitar.com and look for the chord sheet. Make sure you have a capo and the song isn't chorded using alternative tunings. Play while listening to the song, with your earphones on in one ear while the other ear listening to yourself singing and playing. Try to record it and see if you liked the sound.
I have a tendency to strum differently from the original song, depending on my mood when I get to the song, really. Also because I can't hold a tune, strum and read the chordsheet at the same time, really.
Guitar - 6 years (self-taught)
------
start of high school in our band program:
Flute - 3.5 years
Saxophone - 3 years
Piccolo - 2.5 years

funny because i do the same thing. whenever i learn songs, i like to strum or fingerpick it differently and put my own spin on it. makes it more fun to play in my opinion.
ive been playing guitar for 6 years now, mostly self taught. i was 13, begged for a guitar for christmas (not knowing a single thing about them, haha) and of course, being the spoiled brat i was, i got one. didnt put it down for the longest and now i love to play and entertain.
drunk singing sessions with friends = some of the best nights of my life haha
We see it every day in the console industry. You cant spit in a game stop store without hitting some game that's basically a remake of an older successful game. I could basically type up a huge list of remade games, but I'll settle for saying to look away from the 3DS section.
My question is, where's the love for classic PC games? I would kill to play the real Bauldar's Gate games (not those playstation 2 Diablo wannabes...), or Fallout on my phone, or perhaps some other platform.
I'm not saying that remakes are a bad thing, as if it were a sign of an industry with flagging innovation. Many of these games are great stories, and rightfully ought to be passed on...

Ah, but you can re-live it with an emulator + roms! At least I think there's been an emulator devoted to it.
I wish there were an equivalent for classic PC games...especially on android.
Maybe I ought to check the same place where Lord Manhattan found his stomach emulator.

With a fair bit of work you can get some of the dosbox emulators to play pc games. I have gotten tes arena working. And have heard of people getting fallout working. And of course all the basic dos games work well

Hello xda-community,
today, I've got a nice free game-mix for you'all, which I've waited a long time for,o here it is:

Two genre defining games from completely different eras: Nintendo's Super Mario Bros. and Valve's Portal. These two games managed to give Platformers and First-Person Puzzle Games a solid place in the video game world. But what if Nintendo teamed up with Valve and recreated the famous Mario game with Portal gun mechanics?

P.S. - No commercial or ad here, just a little "i-want-to-let-you-know"-thread
Downloaded it yesterday, and was gonna start this thread lol.
It's freaking awesome. My two favorite games in one. You have to get used to it though. Playing mario with a mouse and all. lol
I know what you mean. It's pretty hard though!
Well, just played now. Just got refreshed my childhood memories playing 24x7.
Any idea how many levels it contains ?
I'm sure the original was 'never-ending'
Did not know him. thank you very much
