Z4 no root?

It wont install on the Droid 1 I picked up, anyone have any.client what's going on? Oh and its burning through batteries and its all extra laggy.

Yes, try using Universal Androot if you only want to Root the device.

The only way i could get root when i updated through Kies to the official Froyo 2.2 was with Super one click version 1.6.5

Official Root Method yet?

I just purchased the Thrill yesterday and have wanted to root my phone. Is there an official method of rooting this device that works correctly and wont mess up my phone? Thanks!

I have to agree this is the only method that worked for me, I worked for 2 days and about gave up then stumbled across this method. Within a couple minutes I was done. In fact it went so fast I didn;t even beleive it worked intill I checked superuser....
