Anyone Experience This?

I Recently Went To Remove A App From My Home Screen & When I Did I Noticed The Same App Was Still There In The Same Spot! So For The Hell Of It I Went Ahead & Moved Another App Just To Find Out That Every App & Widget On My Phone Had A Duplicate Under It! I Then Went Ahead And Took Both Off, & Replaced Them With A New Icon (Same-App) & It Seemed That My Phone Got Faster! One Issue Is That The Sense Clock Widget Would Not Recognize Being Long Pressed, So I Had To Reinstall The Clock Widget, Which Automatically Rebooted My Phone For Some Reason! After Reboot All Was Fine, Until Today When It Happened Again.... My Question Is WHAT THE HELL IS CAUSING THIS??

2. Did you do a nandroid?

The Rom I'm Using Is "FroyoSense- V8.1" (*Only Cause V8.5 Wouldn't Boot*)
Also I Did Make A Backup, But For Some Reason It Still Happened! I Ended Up Doing A "Full-Wipe" & Re-Installing The Rom Again!! Which I Thought Was Straight, Until Today.... When That Damn Issue ReOccurred!!

So try doing a nand restore from a time when this didn't happen.. Or try a different ROM.

OK, I Guess Could... Only Thing Is, I Don't Think Theres That Many ROMS Out There With Both Froyo & Sense On Them!

No, there isn't. Maybe the Rom file you downloaded was corrupt. Try re-downloading it and flashing, and if you still have problems do a logcat and send it to the dev who made it.

You really ought to search for some. After 1 min, I found a stable CM6 sense ROM and a stable AOSP sense 2.2 ROM. Try searching and see what you come up with. Good luck

Have You Tried To Install Either Of The Sense Roms? Cyanogen or Aosp? I Believe I Installed The Cyanogen Rom & When I Flashed It It Was Just The Regular Cyanogen, With The ADW Launcher! Though It Said CyanogenSense!

No, I haven't and won't. I don't like sense at all. Plus, it's a sense THEME, not a sense ROM. Sense is tied in with the framework so much you can't just pick and choose what you want from it.

If You Don't Mind Me Asking, What ROM/Launcher Do You Prefer? I Choose Sense More or Less Because: I Haven't Found A Widget For The Music Player or The Bookmarks That Compares!! Know Of Any?

Is Everything Stable On It? I Was Using BlackMod A Few Months Back & I Was Having A Issue With My [email protected], & My Text Messages, I,Was Receiving "Both" Whenever They Felt Like it! Lol! But Like I Said A Few Months Ago, These Developers Are So Sick With It, They

How to solve lockscreen lag

Hi guys,
As above, when I press the power button, there will be a lag around 2-3 seconds before the lockscreen appear.
How do you remedy that?

bro, are you using Modaco Custom Rom?
on stock LG lockscreen?

Same probleme here. But with fr12 modaco it goes a bit faster...

i'm having lag also on modaco fr12

The lockscreen lags for me also. I ended up replacing it with Widget Locker.
The stock lockscreen must have been a trainee's work. How the hell do they manage to lag such simple thing on a phone like this is quite beyond my knowledge.

Even using WidgetLocker also lags..

[ROM] Stock - RoadRunnerEdition
Ill post some pics of what it looks like remember I had nothing to do with this rom just was testing and it works on the Thrill all info for it in the Thread above.
Im using go launcher ex and its smooth as silk.Trying to make a new battery but kitchen seems to be down at the moment Ok download Rom toolbox pro then you can change the battery icons,has to be pro to make any changes.I noticed after using Rom Toolbox I have to reset my wallpaper every time I make changes and also sign back in to the market.Not sure if this is normal Ive never used Toolbox until today.

All I did was just flash the rom like any other I didnt do any of that other stuff in the first post for flags and what not.

here is a working link to roadrunner i just flashed only issue is you cant use automatic clock its 5 hours behind. other than that ill let you know how it goes today with the rom as a daily driver

Ive tried 3 Froyos over there this one is the one I found so far that worked the other 2 I didnt have signal.

I did notice you can not receive mms pictures anyone else have the issue

U need to set the apn manually

I actually had the clock problem with the stock rom. I had to manually set it to the right hour, exit out, and then go back into clock settings and set it to automatic.

Queer issue with cLock widget

Hi All,
I have been using PACMan v22.0 (JB 4.2.2) for about a month now..
Somehow it had gone a little slow, I thought of flashing it again.. What I noticed is that the cLock widget is not able to detect the location automatically - the network location wifi/mobile and gps is enabled.. The cLock widget is also not able to resolve the custom location..
I tried a different ROM - JellyTime (JB 4.2.1) but find the same issue..
However, i restored the PACman v22.0 backup and there:
1. the cLock widget is updating the weather properly
2. the cLock widget is not able to resolve the custom location..
Any ideas on what could be going wrong?
EDIT: I did a complete wipe for PACman as well as JellyTime

I ve same issue , but i use beautifull widgets so i really dont care about cLock

I installed icecoldsandwich 8.8 and there too the weather doesn't display on the screen while other apps like accuweather are able to pick up locations..
Any idea why is it happening?

Download the latest version from the android apps and games section of xda and replace it in /system/app
The older versions of some apps, including what was used in ice cold used an old yahoo weather api which yahoo started charging money for. So now they don't use it but the app is trying to get info from the aokp servers, that's why its not working

Personally? Not sure about ICS
But I would download a 4.2 ROM, be it dla's or szezso's and use the cLock from there

Hey people ! I found this amazing launcher yesterday ans I just wanted to be sure that you'll try it !!!
It is amazingly fast and smooth and it has all the basic features of LG Home including the transitions and the customizable drawer.
Double tap on the launcher will lock your device but if your phone is locked it won't be waken up by double tap.

4.1.2 zaiben RC5

It works guys on zaiben and on stock rom you must!!!!!!! First delete with es explorer the launcher tha comes with stock and zaiber rom and the lgm g2 to launcher its has two lg homes apk it doesnt delete the old lg home apk thats the problem knock on doesnt work but the launcher is great i love it its better than stock remember delete lg home apk before you flash and for emengercy if it doesnt work make backup o0f old lg home and install a kauncher from google play like go launcher

Nice it works in stock v20b but in the folder the words doesnt show correctly

The double tap can only lock your device. It won't wake it up unless you use the new Iodak v9

No I'm not joking. It's only a beta (or maybe alpha) but Iodak released a new version of its kernel few days ago.

The launcher works without theme apk file. If I push the teme apk to system/app the launcher doesn't start (FC).

It doesn't make my device to sleep if double tap... I am on RC6, default kernel
Using tapatalk with LG 4X HD, Samsung ACE2, LG L7II

double tap works for me on latest miui but only to turn of phone to sleep

apparently this launcher and it's keyboard work flawlessly on every custom ROM except stock ROM and stock ROM based custom ROM. lol

flashed it with cwm but it didn't work

I assume you are using stock ROM. Because I flashed this launcher on any CM based ROM without problem (except lockscreen setting, of course)
Have you tried to install it manually?

works on stock but the developer didnt make it for lg optimus 4x to delete the old lg home apk and replace it with the new it universal for all android phoes not only lg series you will have to lg homes just delete that come with the phone after flash it
