Come on now !?!? Search the Q & A and/or Development Section Before starting a new thread. (And a Question thread goes in the Q & A section)...... Please and thank you. See this Fugu Root Method [MOD] FuguRoot: root _any_ stock SGS ROM safely (froyo, GB)
edit: Pm sent to reinbeau to move to correct forum.
Please use the search function - this question has been answered over and over in this forum - and the question, if it has to be asked at all, belongs here, in Q&A, not development. Thread closed.
I've been reading through the forums, but I can't find how to update my rooted Captivate with 2.2 to jellybean. I haven't use kies because I'm afraid of bricking because it is rooted.
Is there a link to upgrade to jellybean and then root it? Or a step by step on what to do from here to ??
Thanks in advance.
Sorry for a noob question.

Can someone create a link or give me a link to the original HotspotProvision.apk? I deleted mine accidentally and need it to unroot to apply this kitkat update.
Thanks in advance

Please don't post help questions in the Dev section. If no one posts it, you should be able to download one of the stock roms here and extract it from the zip.
Moved here, and please read the Forum Rules on Posting. As this does not belong in the Development Section.
For those with rooted stock 5.0 with custom recovery, this is an instruction for flashing stock factory 5.0.1 LRX22C.
The ROM was created by Zyxxeil. Bringing this rom to the top since it's buried in another thread.

This does not belong in the dev section.
There are already guides for flashing anything you can think of.
Search before posting new threads.
Please so not post in the development section if you are not actually developing something.
