Really quick question that I haven't been able to figure out, I am running lpp over virtuous on my dinc, and on my lock screen I would like to make an icon or shortcut using dv to create a power button, now is this possible or am I out of luck. Oh and I do have widget locker. Thanks in advance.
Adam
Don't think it's possible. You can only set shorcuts or widgets but cannot run an app in the widgetlocker app at the same time.

Hello everyone -
I'm looking for a transparent lockscreen solution for my cappy. There's a thread about doing this for the Hero/Eris, but it requires a Sense odex. (tried to post URL but I'm not allowed as new user...)
My ideal lockscreen is transparent over the default home screen, so I can still see my standard clock and other home screen widgets. I've tried Widget Locker but I don't like it.
Any help or suggestions?

Could probably modify android.policy to remove lock screen entirely, lol. It's probably a ton more work to enable a sense-style lock.
Or install nolock and adjust your screen timeout to a low number. Pressing the power button would then go straight to your homescreen with full functionality and pressing it again would just turn the screen off.
I've been working on my own winphone7 type theme (using LauncherPro Plus and Desktop Visualizer), and I'm hoping maybe someone on this forum could help me out with it.
My question is whether or not Desktop Visualizer can create shortcuts to navigate through homescreens on a press.
I know it can be done in LPP with the dockbar icons using a LauncherPro Shortcut, but I have those assigned to primary functions already and I don't want to essentially not have a dockbar.
I cant post my screens yet (I am a terrible, awful lurker) but essentially the bottom row of each of my homescreens has a LEFT and RIGHT icon I was hoping to assign functions to, right now they have no action tied to them and just serve as an open space to swipe without accidentally launching anything.
You cannot assign the shortcuts using DV.
Anyone know lockscreen that can see launcher screen
Example
I have widget clock on screen when the phone get to lock screen
it can show widget clock not hide it.
The easiest way to do this is use widget locker and then put whatever widgets you want on the lockscreen. its paid app but well worth the price.
agreed, Widget Locker is the way to go. Saves me a lot of time. money well spent
If use widget locker you use double memory for one widget right?
example
I have one pure calendar on widget locker and another on screen it use 2 time memory
I think if lockscreen that not hide widget it not drain memory
Thanks
I haven't seen a double usage I use simiclock on both wl and home screen and no double

Widget locker has a very minimal impact on battery if that's what you're worried about. Somewhere in the app the dev goes into detail on how he avoids causing excessive battery drain.
Hi there everybody
Im just asking, can I launch the app drawer in launcherPro by a desktop visualizer widget ?
Thank you, this is much appreciated
Bumpy Bump.
Yea you should be able to. Open it up, pick your icon, the select the action, then app drawer.
No. You'll have to use Folder Organizer or Advanced App Drawer as an app drawer.

Good day,
I've been using WidgetLocker but i still haven't found a Five-Point Lockscreen to be used with it.
Is it possible? Or WL do not support such lockscreen?
No WL does not support it as unlock slider.
You can make a widget though.

What a shame.
The widget idea sounds fair, although I'm not capable of making a widget out of a five-point lock
Thank you for the answer.
Is there a widget like that to be found, or it would have to be developed?
