At night I charge my phone like most people, but in the middle of the night my phone turns off when I'm asleep. Which means my alarm doesn't go off. Does anybody know why it does that? Its very annoying and I've been like to school several times because of this.
FYI I already restored it so that won't work

Hi Guys
Last night my phone was running out of charge so I just left it at home instead of bringing it with me.
Today I went to charge it but the led doesnt come on and the phone doesn't charge.
Anyone have any ideas to get it going, this I was hoping to be my last return so I don't really want to do that so if you have ideas that would be great!
Thanks
When is powered off, press the power button
For about 5 seconds and it will turn on

Before I went to bed, phone was at 32%. Didn't plug it in as I figured it would last until I wake up. Missed my alarm, and thought my phone died. Plugged it in, said it we at 0%. Turned it on, and it says 32%, and it freezes. So I hard reset it. Anyone else have this problem?
Happened to me once, I haven't found a cause or a solution for it though.

When i got the phone from ATT it was completely dead and didnt turn on. Plugged in the charger it said 49% and from then on never experienced again. Have been using since 40 days and battery life is decent so far
:C Guess I got a lemon! Damnit.
It happened to me last night. I was actually using my phone when it happened. Im not sure why. My phone is at 25 percent now. Its hasnt happened again.

I had the same issue, the phone came dead i charged it up for about 10 mins and it was at 50%. Then the battery was around 40% and died. I charger it for 10 mins back to 50% and then never has that issue again... Worried.
WEIRD, wonder what the problem is :S
My Z1 has started playing silly games, it no longer charges properly! It will be fine for a while, typically ten minutes or so, then it will pop up a warning message saying the connected power source isn't charging the battery. It will then drain faster than it can charge. Last night for example I put it on charge around 7pm with 67% and took it off at 8am this morning, but it's dropped to 3%. I've tried various chargers and cables, the dock, all 3 of my magnetic cables (how I normally it charge anyway) and tried all the usual methods of reset such as holding the red button under the SIM port down. Nothing works. It started around two weeks ago, since then I have flashed another firmware but the problem persists.
My phone is currently plugged into a 2 amp capable magnetic dock plug with the Sony plug that comes in the box. Just typing this message it's drained the battery 9% while on charge, wifi on and network off, screen brightness down and no other apps open.
I've spoken to Sony and they won't do anything, my rear glass is cracked so they won't even look at it and they seem to think it's water damage! The phone hasn't ever seen water so that's a load of BS from them.
What can I do?

Use the normal USB charger

That doesn't work, the problem still persists. That's the first charger I tried when the handset started not taking a charge.

Looks like you need a new device as it could be when the back cracked the battery got moisture (not direct) infected

Greaaaaaaat. That's the last thing I need :-S I've just tried my girlfriends iPhone charger and it seems to charge it, very slowly. I will have to dig my Blackberry out as a back up and see how the Z1 goes.

I have the same problem after updating to KitKat. I'm using dock station too, but not the one that came with my phone (I didn't got any with it).
I put my phone to charge, and after 5-10 minutes it starts to show the message. One time I found my phone drained till 0% in the morning. So, I found a simple solution for my phone. Before I put the phone to charge, I turn it off, wait 2-3 seconds then turn it on. I immediately put the phone to the dock in the boot process. That's the only way I can properly charge my phone.
Hope this will help you...

Hi I posted about power drain and sudden power off. I have ordered a new battery. But, more info I've just noticed that the phone only powers down when I connect the wireless charger. At no other points have I noticed it. Could it be a different issue rather than the battery?

Hey i have the same problem my phone turns off suddenly when i play pokemon go or when i open google earth app!! My battery level doesnt matter! İt just turns off! Doenst turns on till i charge it! When i charge it it becomes charging at 1% then when it is turned on it continues at 60-70%! İ changed my battery btw!
That's got nothing to do with the battery. That's your phone crying out for help. It doesn't want crap games installed on it.
