[Q] Help me fixing alt&caps issues! - Motorola Droid and Milestone General

Hey guys,
I've running the latest CM7 on my Milestone and noticed some issues with the physical keyboard.
Well, I've installed Korean ime(dioime.apk) and put all needed libraries and even swapped text_code_map, all the keychars and keylayouts(which are stocks from a Korean rom).
It seemed working fine and noticed caps and alt do not work properly on the keyboard.
Once I use the caps key, it stucks with capital letters even tho the bar shows the triangle.
For the alt key, it sometimes changes en to kr and sometimes just doesn't work.
So, I thought sth wrong with the latinime and swapped to the stocks but still no luck.
Can anyone help me with this pls???
I've attached the files. pls have a look.

bump bump!!
Can someone give me any idea??

HELP!! after installing Korean IME... (CDMA)

I bought Touch Diamond (CDMA) last week.
I installed Korean fonts and IME enabler, then
I changed language in GUI with registry editor and it worked.
However, the problem is that the 'Send' and 'End' plus 'volume up' and 'down'
buttons don't work after I made these changes. Only 'Home button' works.
I didn't upgrade nor flashed roms. (Its as is Default Rom)
Also, the photos are not shown after the GUI change.
Can anyone help me with this please?
Is there any registry key that can make those button work like before and for
photos?
try asking this guy...

I only have some experience with installing the Japanese IME, but try something like this. Korean may be something other than the e0010411 mentioned in the post I linked to. I have no idea what the problem with the photos is, though. Maybe the path got messed up...

hope you figure it out !
thanks!

Problems with symbol keys

Hey everyone,
I have a relatively new Tilt and some of my symbol keys do not produce the correct character... For example the "!" is @ and the "@" is !... Is there any way I can reset the keyboard or something to that effect so that my symbol keys produce the correct characters?
As far as I remember this happens when you have a normal english keyboard and flash the device with an ATT rom or vice versa. There is a keyboard fix cab that will fix that problem. Do a search on "keyboard fix".
If you're using non english languages to type, that fix will remove the ability to create special characters with the space + fn key (like ç, á, etc) so be warned.

ATT Tilt Keyboard Problem

Hey Guys,
I own an ATT Tilt and the hardware keyboard has been giving me problems. When ever i press the space button it selects the right soft key option and goes into contacts and then starts dial 2547 and god knows what. Basically I can't really use the keyboard, its not just the space bar problem ,there are some other keys which map to wrong options. I have tried changing ROMS but to my dismay nothing seems to have fixed the problem. Can anyone help me here ?
Thanks
This is an old issue and there are many threads that contain the fix. You need the ATT keyboard settings (get Advance Config Tool).

[Q] Froyo keyboard questions..?

This is probably not the right place for this post, but this is the kinda of phone I have...
I recently rooted my phone and installed CM (yay!) and I noticed the new keyboard that comes with froyo, I like it already.
I have two questions:
1 - what happened to some of the special characters, for example the carrot ^ ? I used it for some of my passwords and I can't find it. It's not under the . or O or the numbers or anywhere else..?
2 - I see I can install additional languages (I can read Hebrew now on my phone, that's a first ever...!) so I installed Hebrew, it says to swipe across the space key but.. nothing really happens? Is there a "secert swiping gesture" or something? hmmm.
Hit the ALT button on the symbols keyboard and it will bring up a lot of other characters, including the ^

Android keyboard

All of a sudden i can not get the number 1 to type or the @ to type out. For some reason its like its frozen on the left side. The 2 types out and the # sign after the @. Has anyone else had this problem? Other than that all numbers letters symbols are fine and caps. Plz need help. Also tried different keyboard too.
Swype took care of my problem all good.
You mean on the physical keyboard?
I had problems with mine, it started getting "bubbly" and one of the keys got stuck "the @ key". I had to press it hard so it would unstuck.

If you are using CM7, have you checked whether you are using the correct keyboard layout? Settings->CyanogenMod settings->Input->Keyboard layout ?
