Yup this is my version UK Vodafone just updated cant see much difference at the moment, do we know what this fixes? Was hoping to get Gingerbread
Just noticed i have a backup program appear in my application list just gonna give this a try now, anyone else have this? Its probably been on there from start and ive never noticed it before lol!

Mine is ubranded aswell, And I got the B update a week ago. Is your sim card vodafone or not? Your simcard, not the phone!
I am not on vodafone and actually haven't gotten the update. Is there a topic for a separate baseband update?
I think this new version is a little faster than the old v10c. Indeed it has a backup utility that wasn't before.
Mayb D is the same for unbranded B
Cause C was the same as unbranded A
Just checked and a update is also available in Portugal, but mine keeps stoping at 4% and asks to reboot, pull out the battery, then insert battery again and connect the phone, but it continues to hang at 4% update with the same message!

Vodafone, but the phone is SIM Free.
EDIT: It's working now. It managed to boot into S/W Upgrade mode and it's making the update now.

Cheers for that. I also updated that way too. I have tried to reinstall again to see if there was a glitch, but it just says I have the latest version and wont let me overwrite it....

I know you have a different phone, but how did you stop the icons from flashing/blinking? I'm having the same problems with my Fuze.

I am still having this issue on a daily basis now and it is becomoing more and more frustrating as I have to take the battery out and leave it a few minutes and reconnect. Sometimes that solves the issues and sometimes it doesn't, makes you want to throw the damn thing against a wall!!!!

SFR released the legend 2.2 OTA update, it was planned for the 17th december, we're only the 9.
I'll do *#*#checkin#*#* to see if something appears for our wildfires
edit: I might have been too excited but Legend had their updates one month ago, didn't read 17/11 but 17/12 as I don't see the point to include an already released update on a Roadmap.
Vodafone (NL) updated their Legends already 15/11, the unbranded phones are updating now. So 17/11 is the right date.
But that means that vodafone will give the update in about 4 days, and HTC maybe in less than 2 weeks?
Because they're busy with Legend right now.

Well, if SFR release the update before HTC, it would be easy to grab just the SFR rom, purge it from their bloatwares (sfr wifi / tv / account - apps) and add more languages to make it a WWE rom.

3 UK won't get it for a bit yet. I have spoken to 3 on the phone and they say they will be rolling out the 2.2 update but have no idea of how long it will be.

You can either reflash your phone with a RUU from Shipped roms (must have HTC Synch installed to use RUU's) or you could wait for Danne_jo to release a UK version of Froyo (as we all know he'll be the first(he he))

Which I believe is a generic rom, on my phone which is H3G UK and I keep getting Customer ID Error

Not cyanogen, they work on raw code released by Google. Hence cm is way different from other repackaged roms.

I can confirm this works. I have just debranded and received the official nodo update directly though Zune

Is there any downside to this unbranding? Any chance I will miss out on features/stuff down the line? I'm guessing not but you never know, it doesn't hurt to collect as much info as I can first. Fairly used to messing with phones (I remember flashing my MPx200 with the leaked WM2003 ROM many years ago, and more recently jailbreaking one of those iThings) but not usually so early in an OS' lifecycle, and never so soon after I buy a phone, lol.
Likely I will go ahead with this (can't help but tinker!) but just wondered if there is anything I should know! Anything HD7 specific, or o2 specific, maybe.

My O2 HD7 Updated to Nodo last night.
Firmware revision number: 2250.09.16901.206

I had the official NoDo come up and installed this morning after installing Chevron forced version yesterday!
BUT... after the update both the Marketplace and MSN messenger will not connect moaning about data connection (everything else seems to be OK!).

I have a 2x bought in Spain but with the latest UK stock rom and a UK sim because it's where I live. I try every day to check for new updates but it finds none saying I'm updated to the last version.
Will I get the update when it's released in the UK or when Vodafone Spain releases it?

Most probably you will get it from Spain, since updates are related to your phones IMEI and baseband!

Fortunately, all official ROMs are multilingual, so I suggest these few hints to get official ICS on your phone. It works very well, I use it untill CM10 and CM10.1 get the calls right.

hello, few days ago there was update from germany via hicare app, now I have changed region to german and it working very well. Update steps:
1 upgrade hicare application to newest version.
Run APP - >>Accept terms. ->> choose europe (if there is no update still choose germany) -->> OS upgrade early adopters

I'm on B194 with a Swiss SIM. Maybe having the right right IMEI is important? Someone has a clue? I want to update the official way, not via a forced method.

Apparently huawei said they can upgrade your phone if you call them as you have the correct build for upgrade. Huawei said this when I rang them. Ring them and ask them to push upgrade from their side through hicare.
I tried with ale-l21c432b188 and didnt work :/

It was like an example, u can choose any region where MM is live. Because new updates are instantly uploaded to hicare..

Yes, the problem is that my version is b188 :/
I have the v170 and it works perfectly. Im now with v564, Android Marshmallow.
However, Im curious to check how long the battery lasts with this version.
