I need to buy a back cover for my Streak (replacement battery door) but I can't seem to find it anywhere online. Does anyone know where to get one?
To add to the intentory, it would be nice to have a backup extra charging cable. Id too, like to know where to get a battery door and cable.

Ok, I have to wonder how you have missed all the excitment over the cables. Please do a search.
Also, if you all look around the forum there is a shop in the UK that can probably get your battery cover. Again can be found with a little searching.

I tried that store and I didn't find any covers. The only thing I found by searching was to try Ebay UK and they didn't have anything either. I'll ask the mod to move the thread to Accessories.

Thanks Jared, Id like to know too. What happened with your original cover? I know the hinges or prongs are so small and thin. I am hoping not to wear or bend them.
One of the L's fell off and I'm just looking for a spare.

No, this is the one that was released at launch, this is the one that also causes the non-responsive screen issues on the Incredible.
I'm a bit peeved Incredible isn't getting any fancy docks like the Moto Droid got, and Seidio cancelled there desk/car/innotraveler docks.
why aren't they more readily available?

That i couldn't say because i have no idea
i just know that Verizon has done a poor job at marketing/supporting this phone. not only did they botch the launch there not even trying to get accessory support nor are they marketing it as much as they are Moto Droid
They r said to vamp up the marketing once the phone is back n stock. I have a friend who is a regional manager at vzw and he says as soon as they start shipping again the are going to have a huge push for this phone. He already has new window posters and a stock pile of t shirts for when try start shipping again. No point in advertising something that u don't have to sell n the first place right?

Well it seems ridiculous that my phone has a tv out function but no cable. The original Droid had car docks, home docks, and a wealth of other accessories. I feel like I've been forgotten about.
I feel like he's telling the truth and we will see some heavy advertising for our DInc. This is still a badass phone guys. I own a N1 and to me my DInc is better hands down.

I had that car mount and it was a piece of sh... I wouldn't buy it again. It broke within a week and if you have a case on your phone, it won't fit anymore.

I have this dock and its great! Like that it has the belt clip detachment. Yes you do have to take your case off to use it though but that takes all of 5 seconds. I havent experienced the grounding issues in this dock at all, think that was with those cheap universal styrofoam ones.
Hey folks, not sure if people have already seen these, but apparently they come into stock tomorrow (friday)

Glad I went for a pouch case, Looks really good i loved using my dock for my iPhone and iPod Touch
I wonder whether it would be stable enough to stick to a car dash and use it as an in-car dock..
i wouldn`t buy it.. every time i see things like this, i think it going to scratch the back of the handset..

Twice as expensive though.
What is it that makes the phone decide it's 'docked' ??
When I plug my phone in to a micro-usb charger (or a micro-usb cable hooked up to a PC), then go to
Clock -> Dock Settings -> Audio
I still see the message 'Phone not docked', even though the phone is charging.
Does the phone have to be sync'ing with some software on a PC before it decides it's truly docked? Or does the cradle have some circuitry to deliver a message that tells the phone it is docked? I thought the cradle was simply a charger.
Still out of stock! It says "will be available from 25-th Feb" and now it is already 1st! Quite sad, as there are no other docks around.

Hi,
Where are you ordering the dock from? Is it from oddsandpods.com?
Just googled them and the reviews dont seem very favourable.
Could you please give us some feedback on how their service has been?
Thanks
I've just received information:
"Thank you for your order. Your order has been passed to the warehouse for picking and will be dispatched within 2 days. Should we be unable to send your order on time we will email you to advise of any delay."
When (if) dock arrive, I'll try to post some pictures and write a little bit about service.
Ordered from Odds and Pods on 24th Feb, not received it yet or getting any order updates! really not happy with these guys!
I'm looking to pick up a battery from ebay, however the description (of the momax one) only says compatible with i9023 while I have an i9020a. Would that battery work in my i9020a?
Would like suggestions on what cheap batteries to get as well.
Thanks.

If the battery is the same size as the original, they're identical. Be wary if it's an extended battery however, because the i9023 back cover will not fit on your i9020.

It suppose 2b "xda-developers" not "Yahoo-answers", don't be lazy mate, do some research, there is tons of threads regarding battery here on xda.
At least u will learn something about phone u using...
If you don't want to answer a question, move on. You realize that replying to a thread that you find unworthy just puts it back on the front page don't you? XDA is meant to be a community of people helping each other out.

please stop, this becoming embarrassing.
I purchased one from China and it was fake and didn't work.
Then i found these guys that sell a lot of five for $15 from New York:
LOT-5-SAMSUNG-OEM-AB653850CA-NEXUS-S-GOOGLE-GT-BATTERY
They list all the compatible models, received three at 1500mAh and two at 1440mAh, they all work but if you only want 1500 mAh then buyer beware.

5 "OEM" batteries for 15 bucks? For sure they're chinese imitations, and expect to have problems sooner or later.
NEVER buy "original" batteries (and memories) from unverified sellers. Doesn't matter if they ship from China or NYC
You can buy a genuine original battery for 20/30$ and be sure it will work for at least one year flawless.
Or, I you want to save money, buy at least some specialized brand with good reputation.
Fake battery manufacturers have no reason to sell you good quality.
So expect nominal 1,500 mAh will be 1,200 or even less, made with cheap lithium cells.
God knows how long these parts are gonna work before exploding due to overheating...
I believe that they work because I bought an ankor battery and put it in my Nexus S 4G and it worked even though it said for nexus s 19020

I could have sworn I read the OP asking for a cover to temporarily cover the cracked original back cover, until he finds the proper part. Maybe it was the drugs I've been taking to treat an infection
Hey - I wanted to show off my latest 3D printed dock, this time for the nexus 10.
I borrowed the design ideas from what I saw posed on here and tried to build off of it.
I think the one unique thing about it is that it is made of glazed ceramic instead of that usual plastic. It is very study and has some nice heft, while keeping 3D printing costs down.
I designed it to be able to keep the nexus docked while in my folio case, since I will snatch it off the stand before heading out the door. However, this will dock with or without the case. (FYI this is my case: http://www.roocase.com/Slim-Fit-Veg...--Black-rooCASE/cat-p/c1000036/p10518806.html)
It is designed for the standard POGO magnetic cable.
I just wanted to get thoughts on this if anyone would be interested in one or what questions you might have about it.
I finally got together my shapeways site where you can order the dock if you're interested.
Let me know what you think, or feel free to post in the thread, thanks!

Thanks again to everyone in this forum for the great ideas!
I guess no one, huh?
I am a little late to the dock party...

Agree. Unfortunate really...and surprising. I've had 3 of these in my family and none had any issues whatsoever. They are all in use and still running pretty darn good! I've compared to newer tablets but this really is still a great tablet. Not sure why this forum is so dead.

That's probably the reason, no issues = no reason to search for a forum to find fixes.
Very nice dock.

Hey! Sorry for the delay, I've been pretty busy with work.
I finally got around to setting up the storefront through Shapeways, and have a link to the stand you can buy directly from there:
http://shpws.me/rY5i
I only selected options for the ceramic material, since plastics would have sent the price over $100.
Let me know what you guys think and if anyone really wants to be a baller and get it made in plastic, I'll add in those options, so just let me know.
I have a just one other tip: I sanded the plastic housing of the POGO cable down just a bit with some sand paper and put a piece of electrical tape on it so when I wedge it in, it stays put on docking and undocking.
Let me know if you guys have any other questions.
thanks!
