I'm just looking for a rom with standard liberated snapvue abilities with the best phone fuctionality.
Also i have a Swedish keybard on my shift so i need full swedish layout for my keyboard.
So, what rom should i pick?
I'd go for "Age of reason"
@Flanimal - Have you tried Gullum's and i00's Roms also ?
Is thaiugo's Rom faster / more stable ?
I am also searching for the 'perfect rom' for my shift, and wanting to find out your opinions.
Thanks

I'm using thaiugo's are of reasons too. The I00 rom can use MMS, but too heavy. I've installed QIP on it, and tryed to serf for web... and it went down. Gullum's roms 6.5 is heavy, and i havent' tryed another one.
But Gullum has a WM6.1 cooked rom also. That's what I am currently using.
I am trying to flash Thaiugo's Age of Reason to see if there is a difference or not, but currently i am experiences some difficulties in attaching Snapvue to Windows 7.

Yes I found thaiugos ROM to be the fastest and most stable, and most compatible with programs (youtubeplay works on it).
I tested Thaigo , i00 and Gullums Roms. In my opinion WM6.1 by Gullum combines the best look, functionality and programs preloaded.
I use Thaihugos Age of Reason. It is fastest, more free RAM/storage space and not full of programs you never need. You can install only programs you actually use to save storage.
..and Thaihugo.. if you are reading this, please cook same kind of very light rom but WM6.1...

That's probably why I didnt't use Thaiugo's ROM more than a day. Althought it is fast and stable, i always flash the lastest OS onto my devices. WM6.5 takes too mouch resources, so i sticked to WM6.1
Hi Guys,
i already ask you about the fastest and stablest ROM for the X1 and you gave me really great tipps...but know i want to have a lock on windows 6.5...can you gave me a tipp for a 6.5 Rom which is fast and stablest ?

Personally i was very satisfied with MrRusch & Wildchild's Untamed, works very fast and stable, one of the best Manilla firmware's i have tested.
If you want a non-Manilla firmware i'd recommend UnOff 6.5, I used that a while ago, and never had problems with it.

+1, really fast and stable ROM with about 33% Ram-Usage after booting!
1. the very best of all roms is Xperia X1.5 because every step to close up the x2 is attended as possible.-
2. about htc versions x1_firestorm_v5.0.28005LEO rules at this moment.

dont agree with the 1st point
but the 2nd one agreed
I always come back to Agent's FS editions... as of now 28005LEO without HTCSense (i love using SPBMS)
I suggest if you want titanium use FS 28005 build(TR or LEO) without HTCSense, And
If you want Manila, then same build but use with HTCSense
Christians clean version of the ROM is the best, very stable and he keeps it updated with the latest versions from MS.
Touch-IT Black Leo2.3 - build 21869 +ManilaTV+NaviPanel is the best rom!

I'll go with Christian's Clean ROM too, this is the most stable, it doesn't hangs regularly as all other Manila/Sence 2.1/2.5 do.
Xperia 6.5 UnOff Infinite and Xperia X1.5 are the best Roms out there for me...
I use the Xperia X1.5....
wcxxperia-nce.com from Wildchild is the best WM6.5 ROM for me and he keeps them updated with the latest builds from MS.
Go with X2 Rom best rom ever. Look in my signature ! Cheers
1. Xperia 6.5 UnOff - Infinite & Xperia X1.5
2. Christians clean version of the ROM
Thank you all,
Ive already tested the "Infinite & Xperia X1.5"( Whats the differenz between "Xperia 6.5 UnOff" and "Infinite & Xperia X1.5"?) ,but i like the buttons at the bottom, like in Christians Rom, so i tried this one, but my battery runs down in 8 hours. Ok i was listen to music and using opera, but is was never that fast before...know i will try Agent's 28005LEO.
So...
-Infinite & Xperia X1.5 really awesome but the button at the top.
-Christians Rom really awesome, too, instead of battery life...maybe its my x1...
Thanks again

Energy Rom is great
stable and smooth
I have tried Christian's rom, the Unoff series, touch-it, firestorm and energy rom photon or now known as energy rom phoenix 2
The most stable(not just for 1 or 2 days but for almost 2 weeks) and fastest that I found was the energy rom photon(titanium)
I had to flash roms every 2 days when using other roms because of stability and bugs(even if they were totally clean with no manila or any 3rd party software)
energy rom went on for 2 weeks before I noticed any bug(maybe because of 3rd party softwares)
Hi. I am using EnergyROm for quite some time now and i think it runs out of memory very quickly
I want to flash my HTC Diamond with a more stable and recent ROM, wich one you guys recomend to me.
Thank you in advance.
Morssa
It's really hard to recommend a ROM because there area lot of great ROMs out there, the best thing to do is read through the threads in the ROM section and see what other users have to say.

Yeah..thats difficult to choose the most stable n fastest ROM for diamond. Trying is believing..Just try some ROM and get your answer..

Im looking for a 6.5.1 lite rom with titanium and maybe the latest version of touchflo or sense!
Can anybody point me to such rom or a similar one? thanks
Hallo There

Hopefully you would like it.
Have a good day.
If you prefer WM 6.5.3 like I do Christian's ROM seems to be most stable plus has the Original Xperia X1 dialer which is my preferred dialer as it has better logs and dialing is so much easier.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=542664
If 6.5.1 is ok both spikegotti and gtrab have excellent stable ROMs.

[ROM] PURE Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrade for the SE XPERIA X1 [26 NOV 09 | SEX1 R5.07]
There are other good ROM's like Energy and Valkyrie FireStorm but somehow I could not get them to be stable for even a day after customizing with Titanium Plugins and Themes.
I prefer two Titanium Themes
WM 6.5 Titanium Theme "Bliss"
WM 7 Titanium Project
Of course, there are probably several more good ROMs but you really have to try them out. For example, I like how the fonts, email, etc look in one ROM but don't like the dialer or it's some other features I love but there is one feature I hate, etc. Play with them all. In the end you will find the most stable one that is close to your liking and will have to settle with it even though there is something better in another ROM .
Thanks for replying so fast, i will give your recommended roms a go.
Xda people are really good
Wow, this topic has simply answered my doubts and questions on which is the suitable ROM for me to use.. I've tried a few version like Touch-IT, Valkyrie, and EnergyROM those eye catchy ROM.. it's really pretty but it's way too lag for a fast user like me.. no patience left to wait for 3-4 seconds to read/create a message!
Ooh ooh i have another question. Do i have to back up my stock rom? I dont think ill need it later.

You can download stock ROM from one of the thread in the sticky here. So, not needed.

my Blackstone is working again...
6 month ago it was a brick, now with no reason is back on and working. But i lost contacts with the forum.
I need suggestions on what ROM or android version to put on it.
I'm searching for the best and stable rom of the moment
Tnx for your suggestions
Hey, It great it's back.
Before you do anything I'd "TASK29" it to clean it memory.
In regards to the ROM, you need to give us some idea what you want to use it for. EG you daily phone - so speed and stability is preferred... A phone to experiment on - Android or newer WM OS etc.

hi, personally I really like the blacknew V rom From kenya. It's a WM 6.1 with Manila 2.5. It's very fast and stable, and wm 6.1 is way faster than 6.5 on our "old" touch hd
Kenya Rom
