For the taskbar you can use the online kitchen: http://uot.dakra.lt/kitchen/
If you want to change the softkeybar teh easiest way is to take another launcher, search for launcherpro, adw lauchner, go lauchner etc.

the ones in programs or settings, like the games folder, menus/ buttons/ owner information.

Those icons are in your ROM, and to the best of my knowledge, you cannot directly change them...check out the threads here on ultimate launch and other plugins where can use you use custom icons...
Or Flash another ROM like THIS, check out the icons in the screenshots...
Also check HTC home customizer for various icons changes on the HTC Home screen

I know this is counter to some of the really cool work being done here. But is there a CAB available that would restore the default, boring white TaskBar Icons? I really like the color ones, but when my phone is on mounted on my dashboard, I cannot read the color where the standard white Icons show up nicely.

go to remove programs and delete the taskbar pack you installed.
It is preloaded/cooked in a rom. All of the new ROMs have fancy Icons except for the DaG kitchen. So unless I learn to become a master chef, I am still searching for my boring icons.

PandaHome is better than Openhome. You can customize icons and mix & match theme items including clocks and drawer and menu tabs, then change the color of a theme if you want. Has other great features aswell as using Openhome themes. Hope that helps
I have an t-mobile hd2, and wanted to figure out how to edit my theme
i.e. changing the tabs, amount of tabs, and the amount of apps on the home screen, and also how to change the honey comb kind of look on the start menu. if anyone can answer some questions or point me to the right thread/tutorial that would be great.
if anything at all the location of the files that i can edit this theme information would be great.

to change the order and remove the sense tabs simply go to the options of sense...there i can't help you because i have an italian rom
to change the amount of apps on the home screen you should try cookie mod and cht editor

I'd like three 'simple' style icons creating for Launcher 8 - I am not the creative type... Can somebody please help?
I need icons for:
1) kindle
I'd quite like this just to be the stylised 'kindle' text
2) eReader
A simple icon of an open book or similar would be great
3) Notepad
A simple icon of a jotted or ruled paper or something
Basically, anything that is in keeping with the style of the default Launcher 8 icon set and is suitable for the applications noted above.

That icon pack is excellent - thank you. Still, if anybody has a kindle and notepad icon that'd be wonderful - Either some icons made in the same theme or that are similar to the Launcher7 icon pack (with the icon in a circle).
