hi, how do i change THIS pinpad??? (its not the dialerpad!)
i tried lots of cm7 themes, but none did change this... (metamorph etc.)

I think the pattern unlock is somewhere in framework-res.apk so I would assume the pin screen is somewhere too.
No chance. I cant change it..

The buttons that control the PIN pad are btn_keyboard_key_fulltrans_normal.9 and btn_key_fulltrans_normal_pressed.9. Here is an example when you change them:
EDIT- They're in the framework-res.apk.

This is basically the only thing that is annoying me aesthetically on my current CM7 setup on the HTC Desire. Would love to have it look more like ICS or the PIN-lock screen for the SIM Card. Could you guide me to a step-by-step-guide how this is done or have you done any mods on your own that can be installed through e.g. clockworkmod?

I found this theme in the m2d thread, but what I want to know is how he got the colored icons in the top right system tray (battery, network, volume, etc.)

I'm guessin thats nhatt's, he's using PDA ROM thats why he has coloured icons, if you do a search you can find what .dll's have which icons.
So there's really no chance of finding these tweeks in a cab form? thanks for the help.

There was a post in PDA thread not long ago with some .cabs 4 coloured icons
Also if you know what .dll etc does the icons then you can take them from one build to another.

This is the home app from Galaxy S, it works on our phones but there are some minor graphical bugs. Which could probably be fixed. Ive only tried it on 2.2, should work on a 2.1 rom, maybe 1.6...

Well it works on the G1 (CM5.0.8), but the graphics are certainly out of whack.. and I think some of the stock applications have different names in TouchWiz that cause it to only put Messaging in the dock. I'm gonna look into editing this after I boot back into Windows and try to make it better.

I just wanted to share it, i want to implement this into a theme when its in working state.
i would love to see work done on this i found it before in the nexus one forum but its pretty basic with none of the touchwiz stuff even thoughit has a section for the widgets.
Dont know why every modded rom has rounded statusbar, this morph is made only for changing it to standart non-rounded version.

The newest version of Metamorph (1.9.8.11) seems to be acting up. I had to revert to a backup of 1.9.8.9 and disable automatic updating in the market.
Metamorph is working again...

Then take it out the .zip package and copy to /system/app using Root Explorer.
