OC kernel for dual boot partition? - Nook Color General

Is there a flashable .zip to get an OC kernel onto my dual boot partition? I'm currently running 1.2 on the dual boot and CM7 on the primary.

can i flash Stock 1.1.0 Clockwork Recovery Image Updated 2/13 from the developer side with my EXT4 Compatible Bootable Clockwork SD Card to get back to complete stock nook rom.
You should use CWR 3.0.5... it will format the partitions EXT3 which is normal for Eclaire (stock).

Dual boot with Eclair in the second partition set and NF in first fails.

I cannot get back my rooted eclair once nookie froyo 0.6.8 custom 3 is flashed.
Basically i followed these steps:-
1) Loaded the dual boot zip that prepares the new partitions.
2) Moved Eclair to the new partitions using the other zip file.
3) Loaded NF 0.6.8 custom 3 as usual without using the dual boot version.
The idea is to be able to use any custom rom once eclair is on the new partitions as described in this post. Verified dual boot to Eclair in new partition after Step 2. But after step 3, I am unable to boot Eclair using N key. I read the following in the post and started to restore u-boot.bin from zip files posted.
"Only thing to note is if the other ROMs you flash overwrites u-boot.bin, you will lose the dual boot capability."
Eventhough i get a dual boot screen, pressing N key doesn't boot Eclair. Is there anything i am missing here.

[Q] Flash OC kernel for CM7 - Recovery Freezes

Newbie alert - I just installed latest CM7 nightly (running great) but since I can't help myself I'm trying to install dalingrin's latest OC kernel.
When I reboot into recovery, wipe cache, and wipe dalvik cache CWM freezes and I can't install from zip and reboot. I have read that if you wait thirty seconds after wiping dalvik it won't happen, but I've tried 5 times and it freezes each time. This behavior didn't happen in Froyo for me.
I understand there is some need to update the CWM kernel for flashing stuff in CM7 but I've made it this far without ADB and would like to continue if possible. Can I add the correct OC kernel zip to my bootable SD and reflash CM7, gapps, and the OC kernel zip all in one swoop?
Alternatively, if I wipe cache, and dalvik cache and then reboot into recovery again can I safely install the OC kernel from zip then?
Other suggestions?
Thanks!

Yep you can do that and should not have an issue at all. that is exactly how I install CM7 myself. Actually I do ALL installs or ROM changes from a bootable sdcard. I evne do my backups on it also which is why I gave up flashing CWR to the eMMC of the Nook. Much easier IMO when something goes wrong as you have all your stuff ( ie ROMS, or nandroid backups) in one place and can always boot to a bootable sdcard.
Hi,
I have been doing the dalvik and cache wipe AFTER installing Dalingrin's OC kernel.
CWM seems to freeze after the dalvik wipe, but holding power button for a while reboots
into Android.
I had already updated the recovery kernel (and the version of CWM to 3.0.1.0),
I believe you need to do both. CM7 uses a different file system format for the
various partitions, the 'included' recovery kernel does not include support for them, so
that is why a new recovery kernel is required.
I think this post includes a link to a CWM flashable kernel:

I added it to my install SD and flashed it. Worked perfectly. Thanks.

[Q] Dual boot EXT4 and F2F2

I am using DualBoot and currently have 2 ROMs both with EXT4 system.
I would like to flash latest DJNoXDs Slim ROM 4.4.4. with F2FS and to keep CM ROM with EXT4 system.
Does anybody know is it possible to flash 2 ROMS, one with EXT4 and other with F2FS, on one O2X device by using DualBoot?
Tnx.
