Doesn't it just use the Android Gallery?
you have to delete the other one from /system/app and then from adb
adb push xxxx.apk /system/app
or to copy paste it with root explorer ..

this gallery works perfect with the smartshare !
Just search Gallery 3D on the market, it will then tell you that it's installed.
it is 2 different gallery its not tha same !
my rom modako f13 fear edition v1.6 havent the stock gallery and the smart share doesnt work .
so i find the stock gallery and post it here.
Tried to install your apk file and it doesnt install.
Any ideas?
But yea I would like this now as I can see the standard Android gallery in Fear is slow and horibble.

you have to push it from adb or copy paste with root explorer.
i know that it doesnt install ..

Does this gallery also has the problem when using pinch to zoom? When i try to zoom it doesn't zoom in at the right area, this guy had the same problem and made a video of it: youtube.com/watch?v=CP6sU0TJXdE

Hei guys
After spending much time to find out how to optimizing my phone, I've gone back to 2.1 Eclair Stock! I love this Design and the performance is perfect with OC Modul/MT-Modul/MddI-Fix Modul.
But the Stock Browser hasn't Multitouch Support because its for Xperia X8
So..is there another Version of the Stock browser which I can use to get Multitouch in Stock Browser?

you have to extract and copy the file android.hardware.touchscreen.multitouch to system/etc/permissions
and then set permission to 644,
Then you will be able to use pinch to zoom in stock browser or any app except stock gallery

Sorry but permission 644?! Which one is this? Which stock rom do you use....?!
With permission from the developer, I would like to share this with you guys. Its an add-on to be flashed over CM9 Nightlies. Its mainly for those who love the stock look of Samsung and includes some Samsung Apps + TW UX + Sony Walkman Player (which i personally think is awesome!)

yes it does. im tried on mine. the first boot takes somewhat long. took about 20 mins if i remember right. be warned, dont flash if u dont like touchwiz (latest) or stock samsung apps cos it adds a few of those.
the new weather clock.apk not work for me.... problem loading widget... is it work for you guys?

i wanted a few samsung apps, but not the launcher as i still want to remain my CM9 launcher. if i straight away flash this, the touchwiz ui will replace the stock ICS launcher?
theres still the option to select the Trebuchet launcher. or u can install another launcher over it like Nova or Apex which looks exactly the same like Trebuchet but with more functions.
I want to flash this for the default Samsung camera app. But if I flash this, will my entire system, ie the settings, menu etc look like Samsung s ics Rom?
i dont think camera will be changed. if u have downloaded the zip, check the system/app folder inside the zip. all the additional apps will be found there.

Actually I can't just copy Samsung camera as it requires some Samsung framework and tw elements. So was asking if after u flash this zip, do u have Samsung camera or does copying stock camera from Samsung ics Rom can work or not.

i've checked. the samsung camera app is not included in this add on. to answer ur othr question, i dont think copying the stock samsung camera will work either, for the same reasons u stated above

Actually if u have an ics or even a gb nandroid backup, extract it and find polaris office apk from it and copy it to the location you found it. And change permission.

download official firmware from samfirmware, extract that zip (md5), pull out music app (bot odex and original), put in system/app through root explorer, and set permisions r w r r...im not sure if this gonna work, but its logical

Edir: Unfortunately it isn't working. Emanon has always been a tough guy to change lol. Even other apps from stock rom aint installing via root push.

Extract the emanon ROM on ur pc using winRAR.Replace the music.apk with the stock music player.Re zip and flash.Worked for me.

Edit: Nope it aint working, idk why i think the apks are signed or something? I'll try again and see. I replaced the apk only and it gave force closes. Should i replace the odex too <.<?

hmm...you should try that..if that doesnt work you'l have to use the kitchen to re build the ROM.There a lot of threads here with tutorials.

no, its a good way to do it, but just SIGN it, youv got signer in tutorial how to make rom, download, zip your changed rom and sign it

Edit: I gave up <.< nothings working and i'm just getting stressed for hrs lol. I'll just use cm7 music.I think the framework is different so they are not working or something like that else parasmi would've included them.

yup you need to replace it ,since jb browser and ics browser are using same namespace

they are using different names in the system/app folder. can i place it there instead of renaming the ics to the jb one ? i mean the .odex file is only present for the jb browser.

I installed it with it's own name in the system/app folder it works after reboot with the permissions set properly but when i open it it closes instantly with the "internet has stopped working" message. maybe i'm missing the odex file can you please post it? : )

i was using the stock browser provided by another user here which worked on 2.245 fw. but after flashing clean and tweaked 4.1 (2.254), all the stock browsers ive tried keep FC. i pushed it to /system/app, set permissions as rw-r--r--, and rebooted. but the browser always FC's after automatic google sign in.
can anyone help?

you need the browser.apk and chromebookmarksyncadapter.apk to sync your bookmarks
copy them over to the system/app folder,
and remove BrowserProviderProxy.apk if you have it there.
