how much are you in debt?

I am about 8400 in debt from student loans and credit card debts.

Between house, mine and wifes student loans, and other little crap, about $175,000. Good thing is I own one of my vehicles, 1 payment left on the other and NO CREDIT CARDS.

House prices in my area are ~£300,000 ($495,000) for a three bedroom, so anybody buying one will instantly be £300,000 (minus deposit) in debt to the mortgage company.
I bet 8400 isn't sounding so bad now is it?

only around 1500EUR from a loan i made for a TV...

No debt. Currently a junior at the University of Arizona. Gotta love those scholarships

i am about £1000+ in debt, i havnt paid anything back for aprox 5years now, i am probably black-listed LOL

I'm at about $1000

Toyota RAV4 = $19k-20k
Old school loan + credit cards = under $3,000
That's it
Everything is manageable and looking forward to getting our two kids (age 1 & 3), into private school.

Yup, they've got my trapped for good now. At least until the day comes when I can afford to purchase a phone without a contract or suffer through having the same phone for a whole 3 years... which will never happen!

For a pure google galaxy nexus to work on sprint and for them to have it,

That's why they invented ambulances.

No insurance, made too much money for government assistance, spent $2k a month out of pocket on my wife's medical bills (she was denied insurance from every provider), and the cost of an ambulance would have hurt when we got the bill. He ended up with several stitches, but no other harm.
I could write a novel, but it would be too depressing. That was 6 years ago, things are a little easier now.

For my birthday, what should I spend my money on ($500 or so limit)

With my bday today (now...central US timezone) what should I buy as a present to myself?
Looking for something "gadgety" and fun/interesting
I'm set on devices for the most part, the Nexus Q, Chromebook (CR-48 model), and Sony Chromebox all interests me, but then they all do the same thing my current laptop or computer hooked up to my TV can do.
Thought about a smart watch such as a pebble and I just feel I'm too hard on my watches. (Normally stick with G-Shocks)
Thought about an iPhone 4S to play around with and wouldn't you know it, the g/f is getting one and then I'm gonna take her Nexus and try to trade it + some cash for an SIII.....
