I think this app is pretty handy when I need it (like opening the door in the dark).
May try "momentflash" (I used it on Behold II and hopefully it will work with NS).
don't see why a flashlight app wouldnt work
I bought SwitchPro Widgets, it has a flashlight function, I'll see if it works with the NS, if not, I'll email the developer.
I tried two so far:
nexus one flash: light doesn't turn on
momentflash: it is not supported

doesn't use the flash as a flashlight
droidlight doesn't work either.
Tiny Flashlight + LED
^ I installed that, works great so far on the NS
Installed it and it worked.
Update: TeslaLED also works. The key is to get flashlight for Fascinate or Epic.

Yes it is free and good
Widgetsoid works too but make sure you set the "Flash led" option to "Method 2" in the settings.
Hope this helps.

the flashlight toggle in "extended controls" works great.
Tho the screen lights up aswell. Just use the - Volume to turn the lcd brightness down. 10% is the minimum.
Tiny flashlight+led works on ns4g and oICSv43.
Hello!
I realy like the miui roms but there are some things that i could not get to work with it when i tried it last month.
What i miss is the support for ultrabright flashlight for example with n1 torch
i also want trackball alerts like in enoms rom.
is these things possible to get yet ?
Thanks in advance!
Of course, you have and torch and trackball alerts!
...from the market.

Not necessarily, you have the torch in notification menu and trackball alerts in settings - system - Led notifications. Both works perfectly.
Thannk you for the quick response, yes i know about the torch but does it support ultra bright mode ?
Hi, is there any alternative widget like those mentioned above that make the LED flashlight work?
THANKS
I don't know of any widgets but I use droid light from the market! It comes in handy all the time

Flashlight works with D3 and comes with a widget.
Tesla works pretty well. It takes about half a second for it to turn on but there is a widget(s) you can have to do certain things.

Thanks for your help guys! Hopefully Switch Pro will be updated. I like it to have all functions in one single widget.
Anyone know if Torch works? or was that only part of CM7?
I can't find it on the market...
I carry a Streamlight ProTac 2L everywhere I go now. I tried using the flashlight apps, screw it. Nothing beats the real thing.

Very small, well made, free, good looking.
I like this one https://market.android.com/details?id=com.colinmcdonough.android.torch
Super simple, light weight and works well on Note.
I prefer the one in quick settings. Easy to get to and works well.

"Quick Settings" is an app in the market. You can have it reside in the notification panel, and open it from there. The top right of the window shows a flashlight icon. That can be either configured for the LED light, or the screen.
Why don't you use the flashlight widget on the phone by default? It has 3 settings and it's really convenient. I use it all the time.
I never seen Flash light widget by default on Note. At least not on my Note, there isn't one in list of Widgets to add by default.
Or is it hidden somewhere?
