Search through the themes and apps forum. There's actually one Guy who has themed the market to almost every color. I would find it for you but I'm on my phone so you're on your own.

I have a rooted SGT 7.0 (Sprint) with the Samsung version of Gingerbread. I'd like to flash it with an ICS build, and the one I selected said to flash it using CWM.
Could someone please tell me if the instructions in the link below are still valid for Gingerbread? They appear to be written back when the device still had Froyo, so I'm not sure if I should follow the same steps.

Since I'm a forum noob, I can't post this as an outside link... I'll get my post count up and then repost the link.
Thanks for the help!

This is also annoying (besides the forbidden dev threads, and 5 minutes waiting time for an edit, jeez). ^^
Thanks for the link, although it is quite old.. (megaupload links)

I took the journey last week from Froyo on my tab p1000 to ICS. AOKP ICS milestone #6 works for me. To read about my experience, I have already posted in detail on my blog singaporeanipaduser.blogspot.com. It is a long story with all the necessary updated links from the main sources as well as from XDA forums.
Here's the latest Kernel for Andro-id-RC3 by Abenagial. This is an update package for this ROM, so you should be on this ROM to flash it.
It includes
-kernel 35.14
- gpu update
- gui update..
HERE IS THE LINK
NOTE:- Please make a Nandroid backup before flashing this, in case anything goes wrong. Also I am not responsible for anything happens to your device. Flash on your own risk.
credit goes to @ABenagial who posted this on Facebook. Abenagial
thanks for the update. is this by Tjstyle?

Because I haven't seen it. This is a new kernel source, which require better publishing so our devs can work through it. I haven't copied it from your post. I got it on our facebook page for mi-410. Thank you.

I am not saying that you copied from my post... even I took it from facebook page and as this kernel is only for RC 3 I posted in that thread... if check thread carefully you will find on last between page only....no need to post separately .... anyway my point is in regards to forum space which is wasting because of repeated post and thread....and its two month old ... no point in posting separate after such a long time ...
Besides the pushing of that old topic, I've tried a number of the newer/recent firmwares and they all have one or the other bug. Something is not working, crashes, or screws up. Nasty stuff sometimes. I am back to the 2.3 series, and perhaps I may refresh my now very old MacLite with a Sharp version. Depends a bit on my time, but I think it's still the better firmware for our phone. That is, one where everything works!

Yeah it's true that we are still struggling to get a good, nicely working ICS+ ROM. But without trying new ones, it's impossible to fully utilize our device capabilities.
Hope for the best bro.
And yeah Sharp is a great ROM.
