Help with Android on Xperia please.

Hi guys, i'm new to this forum and would like to say firstly, hello and thanks to everyone for the info!. I've had my Xperia X1i now for a year and love adding apps and games and stuff but Android caught my eye the other day and i've spent nigh on 4 nights solid, running in circles trying to get info on installing the right version but to no avail. Would it be possible please to let me know step by step on what to install, how to get the correct version and also how to "tweak" the startup.t please? I would be forever in your debt. Thankyou.

Where do you get the idea all those problems are already solved ? Maybe asking in that thread would help. AFAIK no progress was made beyond what what HTC users did.

Much appreciated guys, and thanks for getting back so quick. i am at the moment trying to get my head round how much i need to play with this thing, (in a good way). touch screen MIA

Is there a file in the system for screen calibrate on 1.6, as of now my touch screen does not work but maybe 1 out of every 20 taps. So the only way i can use the phone is to use the trackball and that cant do everything. Can somebody piont me in the right direction or tell me what might be causing me issues. Allso im having the issue on every rom i try. Thanks in advance, Veritas

I posted this in the other forum but having a unusable phone is pushing me to find the answer or help a little quicker, so please dont delete this Mods until i get it solved or have been headed in the right direcion because honestly the other section isnt always to good if u need help with a broken phone, and then we can move or delete it.

asking the mods to allow you to post in two forums doesnt speed up answers to your question, it will probably create more flamers in your topic. but you might be looking for a new digitizer, check ebay..

[Q] bricked g1

Hi guys just wanted a quick question answered
I was cleaning my room up the other day and i came across my g1 in my cupboard
I bricked my g1 ages and ages ago due to i cannot remember exact it was something like I flashed the radio before the rom or the rom before the radio and it just hangs on a t-mobile screen
I know people where looking for ways to get around this so I was wondering if someone has come to a quick solution to this

To solve your problem: search for JTAG in this forum, the only chance to re-animate a really bricked G1.

in the Q&A section for G1 there's actually a specific forum for Q&A lol you'll find it jus gotta look around.. someone should be able to help you betterin there if anyone checks anymore..

[Q] Few questions about UI/Skins if anyone knows

This is general Android... Have a co-worker asking if anyone knows of any WebOS UI or skins out yet, or if anyone is working on them..
Also, He has a G2, getting a G2x soon, and wondering if there was any way to put Motoblur or something similar on either device?
I couldn't find anything, so hopefully someone has some answers that can help.
