Is your bootloader unlocked?

if you have working clockworkmod, then just flash a rom from clockworkmod recovery.

yes bootloader is unlocked and at the moment my phone does not go beyond "X" but it goes in bootloader mode and recovery i have tried both the recoveries.rom is not flashing

Go to www.shipped-roms.com and download the frg33 shipped rom. Extract the zip within the zip and rename it PASSIMG.zip. Place it in the root of your sdcard and boot into the boatloader.

Or download cm7 and let the fireworks begin

From past experience if you can get to recovery your phone is not bricked. You need to download a rom from off these forums. Download CM7 and flash it

Bootloader is not detecting the passimg and I have tried cm 7 and the stock to flash through recovery after flashing it gives me a weird error:
E:cant symlink /system/dumpcrash Error
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA Premium App

Looks like your internal memory has crashed. I'll get back to you when i have more details.

Try the newer shipped rom from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1059116
Rename to PASSIMG.zip and place on the root of your sdcard.

Could you give us some more details? When you place the renamed PASSIMG.zip file in the root directory of your sdcard and boot into the bootloader, what happens? Does it search for a PASSIMG file? Does it give you an error? What?

Anyways, see if you can see it from ADB at any point, if so, you can probably install a ROM from there or at least do something to recover it.

not sure if you solved the problem, but maybe it will help...
I thought I just bricked my phone as I updated it using wrong update.zip file that wasn't meant to be for Galaxy. After that the phone didn't turn on at all.
http://darkforestgroup.com/forum/index.php?topic=764.msg5747
there you can find how to flash your phone using odin. What's what I've done. the only difference is that I
*put tick in one package
*didn't specify the path to Boot, Phone, PDA, CSC
*specify path to ONE PACKAGE and link that to I7500XXIH8-PDA-CL53973-REV5(VIA).tar
click start
and my phone is working now.
It's not root, but it can be done again.
Hope that helps
good luck.
PS. you can download firmwre from samsung-firmware.webs.com if you havent got one.

[Utility][How To]Flash CWM or TWRP Recovery

Note : Its a RazrHD utitlity and I haven't tried it yet on my AHD
Method 1 by @tucstwo (TWRP still not stable for AHD)
Reference : http://www.droidrzr.com/index.php/t...-or-twrp-recovery-1-click-updated/page__st__0
Just make sure you've got your drivers installed, USB debugging is enabled and that you have UNZIPPED this package BEFORE you run it.
Download - Version 3
Instructions :
Be Bootloader Unlocked
Download Link Below
Unzip
Plug in Phone
Hit "Run"
PS : cause some people are having trouble with method here. Grab Root Explorer or ES File Explorer, browse to /system/etc/install-recovery.sh. Long press on it and rename it to install-recovery.sh.bak so that is't not called out in the future.
Updated 4/8/13 21:17 EDT: Updated TWRP to 2.5.0.0 for both flash methods
Method 2(TWRP still not stable for AHD) :
1.Download twrp-2.5.0.0-recovery-vanquish.img from http://goo.im/devs/Hashcode/vanquish
2.Just do this in fastboot mode:
C:\ur path\>fastboot flash recovery twrp-2.5.0.0-recovery-vanquish.img
Method 3(WORKS for AHD) :
Download here : CWM Recovery by Epinter
Method 4(Works fine) :
Click here : Motorola Photon Q ClockWorkMod ROM Manager Recovery
Link to ROM Manager
Install CWM Recovery for Method 3 & 4
Read Epinter's RAZR HD CWM Thread
Download the recovery image
On stock rom, navigate to /system/etc and rename install-recovery.sh to install-recovery.sh.bak(You can use root explorer,ES Manager, etc)
Reboot into fastboot -- use "adb reboot bootloader" from Terminal\Command Prompt
Wipe the existing recovery -- "fastboot erase recovery" !
Flash the recovery with "fastboot flash recovery cwmrecovery6028-xt925_20130219-epinter.img"
or "fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-6.0.1.3-asanti.img"
That's it, CWM is installed.
Please let me know if someone tries this.
Thank you

Same here.... i don´t understand all about reboot into fastboot.
--- Edit: i know how to do now, but maybe i do a another guide, more specific.
I'm running the Windows command line as Administrator and I also get these errors when I try to run "fastboot erase recovery":
(bootloader) Variable not supported!
erasing 'recovery'...
(bootloader) Permission denied
FAILED (remote failure)
finished. total time: 0.107s
Any ideas? Thanks
Update:
So I tried again with this fastboot executable, instead of the stock one that comes with the Android SDK. Now the error is this slightly different:
erasing 'recovery'...
Permission denied
FAILED (remote failure)
finished. total time: 0.101s
Update2:
I ended up flashing CWM without erasing the old recovery, and everything seems to work fine.

Ok, read the instructions. Make sure you change the file name in the stock rom. Be rooted and bootloader unlocked. Do you all have the right drivers? A good way to check is to type adb devices in terminal. If that works then you're good to go.

1.31.651.2 ruu?

Does anyone know when the new ruu for the HTC One comes out? I went to unroot my phone, locked the bootloader, and went to run the ruu, only to realize I did the system update a few days before. So now I'm stuck in a bootloop and I can't mount my sd card ( I think it's corrupted ) So I'm pretty much out of a phone till then, correct?
Thank you in advance guys.
If you can unlock again, and somehow get adb to work, you can s-off using revone. Then you can flash any RUU. Otherwise, I dunno

I re-unlocked the phone again but I have no clue how to do the rest.
If you can get files to your sd, you can run revone or moonshine to get s-off. Look in original development for the corresponding threads and instructions. Once you have that, you can RUU old firmware or unsigned.

I think the only thing that will fix our problem is a new version of the ruu. I knowledge on adb is very limited, I'm sure someone that knows what their doing can fix it 1,2,3, but that person isn't me. :crying:
ADB should not be your tool of choice. Fastboot would be your friend here, since it's a lot more direct in its method. If your internal card isn't completely hosed, you should be able to restore using the fastboot flash commands to reflash your /system and /boot and /recovery, at which point you should be fine. There are several threads on how to do this.

Can you point me in the right direction?
I tried the all in one kit, tells me device not found. I know it's found by my computer, it's in the device manager, plus I hear the noise that confirms a device is found. I can reboot my phone thru the all in one kit. I think it's best to wait for the newest ruu in my case.

Download the image of your choosing from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2368907.
Download TWRP 2.5 from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2236620.
Put your phone into fastboot mode (power + volume up + volume down). Plug the phone into your computer.
Install fastboot/ADB. You may need to search the web for the platform tools, or there are some toolkits that can help.
Open a command prompt and run "fastboot flash recovery <path-to-recovery.img>".
Go to Advanced -> ADB sideload, then run "adb install <path-to-downloaded-image.zip>".
If that doesn't work, open the zip and run:
fastboot flash system <path-to-system.img>
fastboot flash recovery <path-to-recovery.img>
Bottom line is if you're not willing to learn a bit about fastboot and ADB, then you shouldn't be using a toolkit because you won't be able to fix your device if something goes wrong.
So I pretty much tried everything with no luck BUT I flashed the boot.img and now I'm getting some where. Now it's showing my internal storage but the rom I had installed I guess erased. I've been searching around people saying flash system.img but how can I flash a system.img? All the files I've been finding are .zip and there any .img roms that I can flash?

I've had this problem. To correct it, I put everything I need to flash in /sdcard/0. TWRP sometimes only sees stuff within a 0 folder placed inside root.
If you haven't tried already, make a 0 folder on the sdcard, then copy it and see what TWRP shows.
Thank you to @Indirect for fixing my problem.

In the future, try extracting your downloaded .zip files.
OTA packages and recovery-flashable ROMs are provided as .zip files. Each archive contains the necessary .img files and a script that tells the recovery where to put them. You can extract these .img files and flash them with fastboot if you don't have recovery access.
Fastboot factory images generally are .img files compressed as .tar files. You'd better have a tool like 7zip onboard so you can deal with the many archive formats you'll find on the net.

When you downloaded the .tgz file and extracted it, it contained a .tar file. When you extract the .tar file you get the shamu-lrx21o folder. Within that folder you have the flash-all.bat, but you also have the image-shamu-lrx21o.zip file. Extract the contents of that zip file and try again. The system.img file is in that zip file.

Thanks for reponding,
But this didn't help, like I said before -- I'm getting an error while flashing the system img alone as well...
Thanks anyway...
Anyone else?

Did u even try this method above I posted? How could it not help. It works perfectly. Seems u didn't try it is my guess. If your stuck don't try just flashing the system.img only, start over with a complete factory image reflash. It'll wipe ur data but so what, u'll be back in business

I ran into this yesterday, do this:
Download the Android SDK: https://developer.android.com/sdk
Grab fastboot from the platforms-tools folder.
Flash System again
This will fix it, you just need the newest Fastboot.
Sent from my Nexus 6 using XDA Free mobile app
I'm also stuck.
I keep getting the error 'cannot load system.img'. Everything else flashes fine. The bootloader and the radio. I received the OTA and that didn't install either. I was left with the android guy on his back and it said error. I'm not sure if it has to do with the encryption on the phone or not but it's frustrating. I did root with CFauto root method but my recovery is still stock. I'll try the new fastboot and see what happens.
This might not apply in this situation, but coming from several years of previous Motorola phones, sometimes I had to download and use mfastboot (Motorola's version of fastboot) for large images to flash. It's worth a shot and won't hurt to try it
Edit: here is the link. If you decide to try it, make sure to read the first section on renaming the file http://mark.cdmaforums.com/ADB.htm

fastboot flash the stock factory image the right way, via fastboot, while youre in your bootloader. heres a read me with instructions http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/general/guide-flash-factory-images-nexus-6shamu-t2954008
btw, you shouldnt use root toolkits until you are at the point of you knowing what you are doing.
Try to flash stock google image from bootloader if u can get to the bootloader using power and volume down button.

Do you have fastboot and abd installed. If so you are opening cmd in wrong place or environmental variable path missing or wrong.

Install this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
Now you can use fastboot/ADB from anywhere on your PC.
Also, use method #2 from the link provided earlier. Flash-all doesn't work.

I was in twrp in recovery
and I think I formatted the data which might have cause me to wipe out the OS on my Nexus 6
or I might have checked something else to be wipe out
Alternative is copyright rom to sdcard using twrp and flash

I made a thread you should have read stating just how not to Do this damage lol... Like I did to myself .
Any time you wipe data/format in twrp your gonna delete the whole operating system .
Make sure you check mark oem unlock box in settings\developer options ,Very critical !!
This will always allow you to be able to flash Stock images with fast boot or a tool kit to get the device back to life .
Never oem relock the bootloader with stock recovery cause if you was oem locked/relocked and had deleted the O.S like you did you would have had a bricked phone .
