Hello all, I have Xperia X1 with firmware R3AA007 (about 5 months) and on friday 29.04.2011 this phone was restart unreasonably. After this I saw greel logo Windows mobile 6.1 only and that's all. So I taken off batterie and get back to phone after cca 10 minutes. Switched on phone and the same was happened. Green logo WM 6.1 and it's all. I loaded again this firmware and phone now working. But problem is that doesn't work stylus and nail (before problem everything worked). Now I can control only with my fingerprint but this is little bigger and everytime I'm touching on other place on screen. Could U help me please? Where would be problem? Thanx a lot for answers and help!!!!!
Did you try calibrating the screen again?
I tried everything. Can be mistake with ROM? What I'ld flash some other ROM?
I would try to redownload and flash the stock rom to exclude a problem caused by your copy of the rom.

I have been visiting these forums for 2 years now and have downloaded some great tools and ROMs to enhance my Trinity, however something all of a sudden has gone very wrong!
I upgraded to WM6.1 Elegance edition about 3/4 months ago, CID unlocked the phone about a month ago and everything has been working like a dream.
However just today, I attempted to turn the volume down on my phone during a meeting (I always forget to normally!) and there was no display. After few battery resets, again no display. It starts up, loads the the Elegance splash screens and then hangs on the screen before when the OS should appear.
My decision was to flash the ROM again. I cant flash using Activesync as it wont pick up on the hung screen, so I started the bootloader and got as far as 1% of the flash and it will restart. So I tried the SD Card method when resulted in a "loading" screen appearing for a few seconds and then it goes back to the standard bootloader and displayed a 00068002 error.
I am out of ideas, I hear mtty.exe is a good program for this kind of thing, but what I want to know is if this is fixable or if I should give up!
I have been working on this since 2pm today none stop!
Can any of you guys give me any suggestions please?!?!?

Did you SPL the Phone before flashing roms?
If you put the phone into the bootloader mode The RGB screen and kill of activesync you should be able to run one of the flash update programs.
If I have flashing problems its usually Active sync so I kill it then run the flash program.
I've got a sneaky suspision your battery might be causing the problem.
Hi there, thanks for the reply. As I was new to upgrading I havent used SPL on the phone before flashing the ROMS. I did use an unlock tool recently as i wanted to try a different network SIM to see if it worked when I was in South America, so the phone is unlocked to all networks. Are you saying if I SPL now it should sort the problem out? If so how do I do this withour ActiveSync working - can you use SD?
Another thing I failed to mention was that when I start an upgrade and it follows all the steps, it doesnt say the current ROM on the screen where you press update ROM. It just gives the name of the new ROM and the current one is left blank.
I have disabled Active Sync before attempting the update. It seems to go through fine and then the phone restarts wafter 1% of the update.
What makes you think it is the battery? I am happy to spend under 20 pound on ebay if you think it will fix the issue!
try unbrick.bat.......my trinity was also stuck.......unbrick.bat save my day....
The same happened to me several time....I could not find a solution other than this one:
1. Flash the official HTC ROM.
2. Flash the required ROM then.
it works for my TrinTy.
Hi there, I've had my Tilt for about 9 months and my screen stopped responding. I made the mistake of performing a hard reset and now the phone is stuck at the tap screen to begin alignment. The problem is I have Dutty's WM6 Rom installed on the phone and I'm worried about voiding the warranty. Is it possible to flash the stock AT&T Rom back onto the tilt without using the phones interface? Any help with this would be much appreciated. Thanks
As someone who has flashed a ROM before, you should know that The Phone doesn't have to be tapped to flash the ROM. Plug it into your computer and go.

I've got a problem with my X1. I did a hardspl which was successful and then i updated to a custom rom using the minisd card version. After a few days my xperia was restarting repeatedly during the night. This was fixed however by taking out the battery and putting it back in.
But this problem happened again a day or two later so this time i decided to reflash the ROM and still it didn't fix it. Now all my xperia does is restart, it gets to the green windows logo screen, sometimes the top task bar may load and then it restarts.
I've tried the following solutions:
1. Reflashed rom to a stock rom
2. took out the battery, minisd card, sim card.
3. Changed battery.
I cannot change the spl back to the stockspl because if i connect it to the pc, it does not recognise it as a valid usb device.
Does anyone have any suggestions or is it a bricked device?
Can you flash with SEUS? I'm not sure if SEUS works with HardSPL though...

HARDSPL don't work with SE update service.
Install original R3 ROM with microsd metod.
I;ve tried the R3 and R1 original ROM and i still have the same issue.

Hi all,
My xperia had the reboot problem. (after starting up windows mobile 6.1 it rebooted immediatly.
After that i installed the Ruu rom including SEX1 windows 6.5. My phone worked 4 about 2 weeks perfectly.
Now.. my phone starts rebooting again and i think a have to give it back to the shop for warranty (or does anybody else has other idea's?)
i have to install the stock ROM again ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=431218 ) but first i have to install the original OS.
Where can i find this?
by the way.. i also cant get into the rainbow screen...
what can i do?!

My HTC Diamond have some trouble: Every time I turn it on, it boot to splash screen and then restart, then go on splash screen and restart again, again, and again.It dont boot to Windows.
I am using 2.03 WWE ROM anh tried to reflash so many rom, both Rom ship and cooked rom but still no hope.

But not work, in tri colors screen is still 1.40 Olinex

I do MTTY everytime i flash new ROM
well, has happened to me before, I just take out the battery and leave it out for couple minutes and then should be ok, try starting it when is on the charger, also hard-reset is always an option. I think that is softwware based problem.

My diamond also started doing this yesterday night, it was working fine until now. I have flashed it with Donsalaris rom which came out Xmas last year and its been working fine for over 6 months now.
Then yesterday night after a long chat it started to do this ??..
I tried taking out the battery still no good. I hard reset it and now works fine for sometime like a few hours to a few minutes and go into this restarting cycle again.
I'v left it on the table and out of the blue it will reset it selfs and start the cycle ?
Seems like a software problem but a hard reset should have solved it right ? But it only partially solved it
Anybody gott a clue as to what it might be ???
