[Theme UPDATE] RA's Umbrella Corporation Employee Phone-RC33 JF1.41 and 1.42 tested

Hi Everyone,
This theme was originally posted by RandumAccess, knowing that he is in a new job and spending time with Family, I decided to take it upon myself (with RA's approval) I updated the theme for use with RC33.
I made a few modifications to the them, namely the clock, the dial pad buttons and a few of the Icon's.
I also copied all of the original wallpaper files on the phone with the Basic Grey wallpaper to keep the size of the file down and added the original wallpapers designs into the theme so that the wallpaper gallery works as well as the functional wallpapers.
If you have any issues with this theme, please let me know and I will correct any problems that arise as quickly as possible.

Is there any way you could change it to where it doesn't have the thumb scanner?
It will make it look a little cleaner. Plus why do you need a thumb scanner to aceess your apps and everything. You already 'logged' onto the phone during the boot process.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this theme. It's been my main one, however I got tired of the thumb scanner.

Yeah, I will work on that tomorrow when I get in to work and get it uploaded during the day tomorrow. It's just a matter of changing a couple files which should take about 15 minutes

It wouldn't load for me, even after doing a wipe. It hangs at the G1 screen and just stays there made me a sad panda!

i love this theme, but i would love a STARS or even a BSAA theme even more

Make sure you have RC33. This is designed for RC33, the developer took lots of time to do it.
Also, where is the original wallpaper in the wallpaper gallery. I switched it to a different one, now can't switch it back. I love the original that comes with the phone and it doesn't appear to be on there. Any way you can put it up?

perfect theme with icons but it has just a little too much red, maybe if it could change it could be better, more of a neutral color maybe white or black

Well I guess I should start a thread instaed of posting in Kings 2.1 thread. These are Kings AOSP 2.1 ROM(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=622170) that are themed Dark by me. This is a FULL ROM. SO YOU MUST DO A FULL WIPE AS IF YOU WAS DOING A FRESH INSTALL.. This has the right ContactsProvider.apk so your FB should sync. It also has the Optimize Live Wallpaper.I also put Gtalk in this rom.
I would like to thank KING,Manup,Jac,David,DocRambone,Ravenge,Qtek,Shadowmike,Ultra Spikey,Mark,Opasha,Eessel and Malaeus. I'm sure I'm missing a couple of ppl. Sorry but if you see your work just let me know and I'll give you credit for it.

If it seems to run slow try going into spare parts>window animation>fast
then menu>settings>sound display>animation>off. I've been doing this to all of Kings Roms and it moves pretty quick.
Do a back up before flashing please just in case it dont work for you.
Do a Bart/Nad before flashing just in case something goes wrong.

Dude, you need to fix the colors in the pull down notification drawers. The text is too dark, or the background is too light.

Also, with the transparent notification bar, when I launch Gmail, the notification bar turns white, making the white text on it unreadable. You have to fix these.

You also messed up the bottom buttons. They're way too large. For example, in Gmail, the "Archive" and other buttons at the bottom of the screen are HUGE. You have to go back and fix this stuff. Especially if people are going to be doing full wipes just to install stuff with significant imperfections. Thanks for the effort though.

Cool. Let us know when fixed. I'd love to have the transparent bar running and always have it switch to black when not at the home screen.

Uploading to server right now. Thought I had it right when i made the thread yesterday. But I rushed it and mixed my files all up. Been up all night fixing stuff. lol Must of flashed my phone at least 20-30 times since last night. But it's all fixed now.

Original Sense v0.1 (New Year, More Sense)

Over the past few days, I've been playing around with some apks and zip files because I'm somewhat disappointed with how Sense 2.1 looks. For me, it is too glossy and takes away the matte niceness of Android 2.1 and the simplicity of Sense 1.5. So, anyways, with Original Sense, i'm trying to change the icons (and more, later) back to their original Sense 1.5 style.

Like the idea? Want the zip file? Ok, good! First things first though: this theme is 100% safe to use on your phone, BUT if this somehow, some way destroys your GSM Hero, leaving it in some unusable state with no possible rescue, I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE. However, nothing should happen to your phone, so don't worry. =D
Update:
v0.1 is back out! I've changed all the Sense icons to their original style save for two. I'm planning to do plenty of work in with the framework in the next couple of days. That will change many of the in-app bars and icons. As always, there's more to come!

Installation instructions: Just flash it over your existing Sense ROM using recovery mode. Easy peasy.

Known Bugs:
-The theme doesn't seem to work well in Froyo Sense ROMs such as ChocolateFroyo, causing unrelenting FC notifications to appear from the Phone and Calendar apps. I'm not sure if developing for Froyo ROMs will cause incapabilities with Eclair ROMs but i will test.

Hey everyone!
Sorry about not replying to these earlier, as I haven't really been checking XDA. I also haven't used a Sense ROM in ages. And, I haven't been working on this project because I'm in school right now. Because college work takes up the majority of my time, it's simply impossible to check xda or work on this Original Sense. Once Christmas break comes, I can start working on it again.
As for reuploading the file, I honestly don't know where I put that file on my drive. I'll go search my computer and try to put it on ASAP. No guarantees though, because I honestly don't know if I still have it =(

Funny story...I actually forgot to keep working on it. Because I'm in school right now, I don't have nearly as much time to work on it as I would like to. But, because I enjoy helping out the community, I'll see if i can put out some incremental update sometime soon (maybe this weekend, but I can't make any promises).

I see that the screen lock still unlocks with the menu key, something that has been occuring with most of the themes I've tried on DI01. I didn't think it was gonna happen with DJ05.

That is actually the default behavior for this lock screen. It's pretty easy to modify though. I've done it a few times for different roms or mods.

The slider lock doesn't show unless you are using a deodexed rom. Other than that, not a single problem...not that I consider that a problem by any means

This theme is great. Obviously a ton of work and detail went into getting it as polished as it is. Everyone should flash this theme.

This theme doesn't erase anything.. But if you need it, I would bet it is under sonofskywalkers section of rom manager.

This rom has been removed since I now have a working theme available in the Themes and Apps Section. Thanks to all that have downloaded my themed version of ACS Twilight Zone Rom. Since my work was redundant of ACS rom I have removed it for that reason.

Sorry about that, I have been working on this since this morning at 05:30 and had problems getting the theme to work other than as a full rom. Don't understand what has changed, I used your base files and added my own images. I can remove if you wish or when I get a full understand about the new process I will remove from download. Thanks for your hard and great rom. Was starting to miss the Bonsai 2.0.1 rom.

I am 100% sure you will not be disappointed. Great rom and theme all in one.

one issue so far, when I plugged in charger with phone OFF ...I got a freeze up with keyboard lights up and battery meter shown with no green indicator
i had to do battery pull
any suggestions?

At this point with just a 1 time thing I wouldn't worry about it. Has not happen to me yet after working with the rom for 8 hours getting it ready. Multi plugs and unplugs I never had a problem like you stated above. Try checking your charge and the micro usb plug to make sure they are in good working order. Please post here or the main ACS thread. The ACS team will be on it like a fly and honey.

I just starting to notice this myself. I confirm that it does freeze with the phone and on charge status with pc or ac power.

As long as you have cwm3 installed. Every rom will do that.

i was wondering, what's up with the black Gmail? were there problems with not being able to read some text? i like the idea, if it could be made to work.

Best to just delete it with SDX App Remover and DL from the market a replacement.

oh, the one here is just fine. i thought maybe there were problems with the fully black one that was used before. that one was cool, but i guess some text couldn't be read.
