Hi
I really hope someone can help:
I bought a Belkin Music Reciever.
It works fine with my iPhone using PIN code '0000' when connecting, but when I try to connect with the Galaxy Tab, it can pair - but not connect. It never ask's me to enter a PIN code, but only to confirm the pincode, and I cant even see what code I am confirming, I can just press "Accept" or "Deny". It tries to connect, but goes back to the status "Paired". I tried unparing, I tried resetting to factory, and what else I can think of, but nothing works.
I think that the problem is that it never ask's for a pin-code, and therefore I can't enter the '0000' which is required to connect.
Please, any ideas?
Bump - no ideas?

I need help with connecting BT to Stereo BT-headphones. From the Bluetooth setting- I select "add new device". After a couple of tries, BT-Phones appears. Selecting the "next" button takes me to the "password" entry screen. Well the problem is that the BT-phones does not have a password. Any suggestions? When I Leave it blank...it tries to connect....but comes back invalid.
Also under the "security" tab, I do NOT have the "Authentication (Passkey) required" checked.
Thanks for whatever help anyone can offer......
Make sure that your BT is set to Discoverable/Visible mode before connecting to a new device.
Usually all new device connections require a password which is generally 0000.
That should be it.

if 0000 doesn't work, then 1234 is worth a shot.
This should probably applies to all Bluetooth HID keyboards as well.
But anyway, I just bought a Logitech DiNovo Mini BT keyboard
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard/devices/3848&cl=hk,en
I noticed that it was reporting as a typical Bluetooth HID device and thus I did the obivous thing and scanned for new devices with my Diamond. Lo And Behold it was detected! With a nice keyboard icon beside it too!
So I choose to connect to the device and then it asked me for a pass key, so I punched in the typical 0000, and the beach ball appeared.. and I waited... and waited... and waited..
"Error establishing device!" Damn!
I tried again cause I felt that it took too long to tell me that there was an error for it to be NOT WORKING And again I was greeted with an error.
So I scoured the net and I came across a Logitech KB article for their other Bluetooth keyboards, seems like to connect to it on Windows you'd have to TYPE the passcode on the KEYBOARD.
So again.. I got to the connection screen and then I keyed in 0000 in the diamond, pressed NEXT. Beachball came up, then I quickly typed 0000, ENTER on the keyboard.
"DEVICE CONNECTED!"
Woo hoo!!!
Downside is that since the keyboard doesn't have function keys, I can't access the soft menus on the screen.
Another more inconvient downside is that when the BT keyboard is connected. ALL FRONT BUTTONS on the Diamond are deactivated! Must be how the driver works. And since the DiNovo Mini doesn't have an off switch the only way to regain use of the front panel is to toggle the BT connection.
Inconvinient? YES...
Useful? ABSOLUTELY!!
hey marauderz, thanks for the heads up, i got a dinovo mini too (using with ps3) and after reading your post i'm going to try it out with my diamond.
I wonder what's going to happen when you have both ur PS3 and ur Diamond on at the same time? The box doesn't mention multiple connection sources
well just let us know, I haven't gotten home to try it out with my PC yet so I don't know about what happens with multiple sources.
WOOT it works just like you said!
About ps3, i'm not sure - i am using it in pc mode (switch at the back of dinovo) so it wouldn't work anyways if my ps3 was on. Later on i will try my laptop/dinovo and diamond/dinovo.
On the diamond, when i soft reset, i have to delete and remake another bt connection before dinovo would work again - toggling the bt would not make it connect. Bummer but hey this gadget is really cool!
Thanks again

I'm trying to do this w/my dinovo edge keyboard and it's not working? Can you please provide some more details? I'm assuming you keyed in a 4 digit code and pressed ENTER on the keyboard, then typed in the same 4 digits on the phone and pressed NEXT?
Good find, hope I can get it working too!
EDIT: I found specific instructions on how to do this. You have to enter the code in this order=>
It seems that the pairing procedure is as follows for devices that do not generate their own random passcode for use with the Dinovo, although I gathered this from experimentation:
Press Connect button on underside of keyboard
Search for Bluetooth devices with computer/PDA/phone
Select Dinovo from devices found
Enter a passcode on computer/PDA/phone if prompted (you choose the code), submit
Enter the same code on the Dinovo keyboard
It may be necessary to press ENTER on the Dinovo keyboard
Hopefully, the pairing will be successful.
smartphone - windows mobile 6
i would like to use the mini with windows mobile 6 - more specifically the tmobile shadow2. I can connect the device and my mobile recognized the keyboard as a form of input, but the keys on the mini are not working. are there any wm6 updates that i should find? I am on .net compact 3.5
National characters
Does somebody try to use Logitech Dinovo Mini for typing the national characeters? (like ľščťžýáíé etc...)
No idea what has happened here????
Friday it was working fine. Now, when i try and synch via Bluetooth with the laptop I get an error saying 'Unable to connect with a PC that supports Active Synch'.
I cannot think of ANYTHING I have done in any settings on either??? I've searched and come up with loads of info on Active Synch and com ports etc and a process to go through but I didn't have to faff about with all this when I got it working first time?? Synched by cable, disconnected, set up partnership via PC. Synched via Bluetooth no problem.
Now I get this error. I've deleted devices on both and can re-pair OK but as soon as that's done I cannot connect. Any thoughts appreciated. I'm contemplating a hard reset first, followed by a bloody re-flash if needed. Real pain.

When you do the pairing on the phone, do you see "ActiveSync" in the PC's service list? If yes it means the config is OK on the PC, otherwise it would show as "Serial Port".
I've had the same kind of problem where I did have the "ActiveSync" but it would still give me the error you mentioned, I deleted the pairing, turned BT off/on on both the PC and phone, removed the COM port check in ActiveSync, ON, then activated it again, paired again and it was fine. It can be the PC blocking access or asking confirmation too. The stupid bluetooth stack I had on my previous laptop would sometimes ask for confirmation whether to accept the incoming connection or not... but the prompt stupidly wouldn't show up unless I manually clicked on the BT tray icon on the PC.
I'll look a that next time if it happens, thanks. Ended up doing a hard reset
I have a dell bluetooth keyboard that I want to use with my tilt. It is computer keyboard and is not meant to be used with windows mobile, but from reading about the various other keyboards people have got working on Windows Mobile I figure it should work.
When I go to connect it asks me for the passcode, I tried 0000 and 1234 then I tried with a blank space and it worked. I finish the bluetooth connection wizard and a notification comes up (
). If I select no, the keyboard does not work so I do it again and say yes and it asks me for for a passcode once again. This time I am not allowed to click next without entering a passcode. I tried several passwords and they said incorrect passcode or other error. Is this impossible? is the correct passcode one of the codes on the back of the keyboard?
here are the details on the keyboard I am using:
After you type in a passcode on your PDA, you have to type in a passcode on your keyboard and then press enter. A passcode is something you assign to your keyboard so that only you can use it; therefore, it isn't something that dell assigns. Just make something up (e.g. "1234").
If you have more problems, read your instructions - the process is basically outlined in there: http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/acc/P109356N/en/setup.htm
I hope someone can help me. I have a mini bluetooth keyboard. It pairs and works with my ipod, laptop and archos 70. I bought it, however, to use with my Samsung Galaxy Ace..and tho it paired, it connects and immediately disconnects. I installed the bluekeyboard Jp so it was finally in the settings. my question is..both my archos 70 and Ace are running on Froyo 2.2.1 yet it works on the Archos and not the Ace..could someone please give me any idea why it immediately disconnects so I know what to do next?
Thank you guys..look forward to any advice xx
Hi guys, I have been having an issue with the watch not being able to connect with my phone whilst being paired- not sure if its a watch specific issue or phone issue,
The bluetooth works fine will all other devices: car/speakers they will pair + connect automatically.
However, when i try to connect with my watch, there is no problem in pairing the devices (the code thing what not) but after the pairing, the devices wont connect automatically, and whenever i try to connect the devices, i dont get any response from the phone. E.g., if i tap on my paired devices with my speaker, it will try to connect and shows "connecting..." but if i tap on the watch, nothing happens, not even an attempt to connect, simply stays at not connected. I removing the pairing and resetting the watch, as well as restarting both devices, but issue still persists. Unsure if this is a problem with my phone or the watch itself, as the phone has no problems with connecting with other devices. Havent been able to try the pairing the watch with a different phone (i dont have a spare phone i can try connecting with atm, but will try that later on in the week by borrowing a phone off friend.)
Issue is even stranger considering i had no problems using the watch with this exact phone beforehand, (i just stopped using it for about 6 months because i lost my watch charging station and i couldnt be bothered to get a replacement until now.....)
The watch has been updated to the latest version, and the phone in question is galaxy alpha, running android 5.0.2
Thanks guys.
same here.....i did not find a solution
