I put together a couple of extra mods for Touchwiz Froyo based roms. For now, these have been added to the Development section within Settings. I am hoping to get with sbrissen soon about adding these to his TSMParts.

What's included?
(1) Ability to show/hide usb debugging notification
(2) Toggle orientation for Launcher2
(3) Intents for Dev Tools and Terminal Emulator
(4) Useless setup wizard removed from Settings main menu
What's modded?
(1) services.jar (for show/hide usb debug notification)
(2) framework.jar (settings strings for activities)
(3) Launcher2.apk (for orientation toggle)
(4) apks needed for the activities (PsykdupExtras.apk (my app), Development.apk, & AndroidTerm.apk)
The jars used include all of sbrissen's latest mods (5/3/11). If you are themed, this will replace the Settings.apk images from your theme with stock ones. Hopefully your theme's author will find these mods useful enough to include them in future versions of their themes.

Yeah, should have said that. It's edify only so that it will work with any recovery.
Pretty Cool, nice work.

So I've been holding out on you guys for a little while. I tweaked the Gingerbread theme that I made for Cognition a while ago and came up with this:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Attached below is a CWM flashable file. And yes the last screenshot does show GSII icons on the TW3 launcher.
I went through and changed the icons and modified the apk's on some of the default system apps like the: Browser, Camera, Clock, Contacts, Gallery, MMS (AOSP not Samsung), Music Player, Phone, TW Launcher, TW Calculator and the TW Calendar. I also pulled some apps from Serendipity 6.2 such as: DialerTabActivity and Swype.
For a flashable zip of the apps check here.
Amazing theme, i really like it. Is it possible to theme the mms apk too?

It would be if I had more time to figure out which files to change. Unfortunately I don't, sorry.
If I were to switch back, how would I go about doing that? Just make a backup or reflash the rom?
This looks great BTW, thanks! Although I'll be tweaking the colors a bit here and there.
Grab the framework-res.apk and tw framework-res.apk from the rom your using and paste them into your /system/framework/ folder with root explorer.

Oh it just replaces the frameowork apks? That makes it so much easier!
Hello!
I made those icons for me to use on my Galaxy S. There are two versions: one is colored, one is black and white.
As you will see this is a work in progress. This small count of about 17 icons suits me fine but if there is interest I will add more.
I've made a README inside the *.zip but I'll post it here too:
Icon sets for Android devised HOW TO:
1. Put icons folder somewhere in phone memory but make sure it's a place
which is allowed for your image viewer to scan. (I've set manually image folders in Qpic
although I am sure most people don't bother doing this)
2. Install Desktop Visualizer.
3. Make Desktop Visualizer widget 2 columns by 1 row.
4. Tap the new widget.
5. Follow the on screen instructions.
Notes:
- this icon set was created and tested with Samsung Galaxy S I9000
but should work perfectly fine for smaller screens.
- I've shared my *.psd file so that people can edit it and do whatever
they want with it
- the icon set was created by XDA user HeavenCanWait
That's about it I suppose. Have fun, use and share if you like it!
Here's how the icons look:

As the title says, I want to create a red tinted Rosie, but I never did that before.
Here are some questions I have:
How do I have to repack the Rosie.apk? Using 7-zip and replacing zip with apk?

Is common_title_bar.9 (Based on sigurd_LU's) the graphic for the titlebar and if I make it 50% alpha I can see the wallaper shining through?

If your on a sense 3.0 Rom, all the dock images are in fusion.apk not Rosie. If your wanting to adjust transparency or color, that's where to.change it. I adjust the transparency by playing with the layers
Sent from my Inspire 4G using XDA App
You want to make the rosie dock reddish? (? rötlich in german)
That's not possible at the moment, as Rayford said, the image itself can't be decoded with the current m10 editor. Only thing that can be done is change transparency (opacity) values. I attached a screenshot of my edits.
Then I was totally wrong.
I thought that can be done by changing the png´s and their colors.
Bloody beginner
For apk's which contain no m10 files, like SystemUI.apk or framework-res.apk, changing png files is normally the right thing to do if you want sth like this. You weren't completely wrong
i had mod few of the themes that i like by adding theme accent setting background and transparent lockscreen. to have that transparent lockscreen, you must change the theme as well. hopefully this will be useful to someone. it only work in 4.1.2 10.1.1.A.1.310 firmware. i'm not responsible if anything happen to your device. good luck
1. download zip here
2. extract zip
3. backup the related files in the system/app folder
4. move the files extracted to your system/app folder in the phone, overwrite the old one, changing the permission to rw-r-r
5. restart
credit to Pandemic from this thread since I'm doing this like how i did it in XGO in that thread by his guidance. if i violate any of the forum rule just remove this thread

i'm too lazy to explore it since now i'm using 4.2.2. perhaps someone can help with it
Still very much a work in progress. The icons are made using J Theme Transmorgrifier by JohnMcW. The wallpaper and bootanimation are my own creations. This is my first "app" so it's kind of sloppy. I am having an issue with it showing up as a 'theme pack", so you will need to select each item from the individual menus to apply unless you apply from the notification showing installation. A preview of the bootanimation can be found here: Enjoy! apk attached
********EDIT*******"
I'm adding an "updated" apk that also includes a lock screen wallpaper and is MOSTLY compatible with CM11 theme.
CM11 - Seems the bootanimation is "squished" a bit and the previews don't display correctly. Oddly, the theme shows up as a theme pack in CM11 though.
Strange.....

Not working on CM11
Theme will install but wallpaper asset is 'missing"? Also, I don't know how the bootanimation got mangled up. Guess there will need to be separate apk aimed at API 19. Still trying to figure out why the app doesn't show in app drawer and why it's not listed under "theme pack" in themes menu on CM12.
Weird how the app actually shows in CM11 under "theme packs". Figures the only thing that works properly on CM11 doesn't work on CM12. I've got a whole lot of learning to do....
